(( Field Roll ))
Graveyard Field: In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost.
This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

The trainer walked into pure darkness. "Ummm... did someone forget to turn on the lights?"
Then she felt the air; damp, and cold. Either the air conditioning was broken, or there was a field in play here.
"Chromatic, I'm scared. I hope it's not a ghost Pokemon we're fighting." The girl released her Whimsicott from her Pokeball. Chromatic's pale skin shone like a light in the darkness.

"Graveyard field again?" Shina muttered as she took her place. "Ugh, so dark and dreary." Pulling out Rasha's pokeball she released the fire horse into the graveyard. Rasha's flaming mane and tail made the fog glow eerily around her.

A bright glow appeared on the other side of the field, where a trainer might enter.
"Heyyyy! Over there! Are you here to battle? I'm Ms. Sparkles and I hope we have a good battle!" The trainer called out, loud enough for anyone hiding in the room to see.
"Even if I can't see anything... This battle won't be very pretty, at all." She muttered to herself, then frowned. "Well, you're the Pokemon, go out and see what it is." She nudged the Whimicott.
Chromatic's spirit wasn't darkened one bit by the field choice. She sprang off, zigzagging between some dark shadows that Ms. Sparkles couldn't make out.
Suddenly-- a bright flame exploded at the place where Chromatic ran into. "Chromatic! Are you okay? Use Leech Seed!"
Chromatic was surprised by the bright light that ran right into her. She scattered some seeds onto the Ponyta, leeching her HP.

"Hello, nice to meet you too, even if this field is rather dreary!" Shina called back to the other trainer. "Rasha, Ember please!"
Rasha flinched as she felt something drain her energy. What the...? Whatever, it was time to attack! Rasha sent small licks of fire towards her opponent.

"Ah! Fire's no good for Chromatic!" Ms. Sparkles panicked.
It didn't matter a bit to Chromatic, though. She thought it was kind of awesome how the flames from the Ponyta danced in the darkness. She got too distracted with looking, and got singed with the fire. Oops, forgot that I'm battling! She thought to herself.
"Chromatic! Stop dreaming and use Absorb!" Her trainer reminded. The Whimsicott kept her distance this time, and absorbed the Ponyta's health with the shrubbery parts of her, like the flaming pony was the sun.
(( Lol. I couldn't describe this move. xD

Rasha felt another strange drain, this one strong enough to actually feel like an attack. She stomped and shook, trying to dispel the feeling. Shina, feeling a bit bad for using fire type moves on a grass pokemon, even though it was sound strategy, called "Rasha, use Double Kick!"

Chromatic took a kick from the Ponyta's hooves.
"Bravo! That was great! Let's have an Encore!" Ms. Sparkles got up and clapped. To the untrained eye, it might have seemed like she was cheering for her Pokemon getting beat up, but this was a battle, and there was a move stashed in her lines.
Chromatic bowed her head, and gave the stage to the Ponyta to perform her move again.

"Oh no! Rasha, shake it off! Use Flame Wheel!" Shina called.
Rasha felt a haze settle over her mind, but a moment later forgot about the feeling. "Rasha, Double Kick!" she heard her trainer say.
Shina realized it was no use as she saw Rasha begin to make the motions of using Double Kick again, rather than Flame Wheel.

That Ponyta must have been angry because her last kick was curiously stronger than before.
"Chromatic, give her a taste of your Poison Powder!" Ms. Sparkles commanded.
Chromatic shook herself, and unleashed a cloud of poisonous dust, that engulfed the Ponyta until there was no escape.
(( Success! Poisoned for 3 rounds. First turn = take 50 damage. Second turn = Take 100 damage. Third turn = Take 150 damage. ))

Rasha felt a sickly fog fall over her, tiny sticky grains biting like flies. Then she heard Shina's voice again. "Rasha, Double Kick!" She would really rather light things up with a fire attack, but Rasha nonetheless moved to kick the other pokemon again.

Chromatic stumbled, as she received another strong kick from the Ponyta. She was really taking a beating, now.
"Don't let her get ahead, use Absorb!" Ms. Sparkles encouraged.
Chromatic leaped to her feet, and absorbed the Ponyta's health to heal herself.
