Bored out of her mind, Mitsu sat in her room wondering what she could do. She had finished her homework, prepared what materials she needed to take with her to class the next, cleaned a little, and feed Milo, Ziggy, and the creepy rapalicious in the closet. Humming to herself for a moment she laid back on her bed staring at the ceiling in thought.
After a long moment she finally fished her phone out of her pocket and pressed down on the one key and held so that it would auto dial the number she used the most. Shun's. Placing the device to the side of her head she waited but eventually the ringer went to voice mail. How odd. Trying one more time Mitsu got the same result. Maybe he was in the shower or something?
Brows knitted together Mitsu put her phone away before scooting off her bed and heading toward the door. If he wouldn't pick up she would just stop by then. The reaper dorms weren't that far away and she liked spending him with him better than being alone in her room. Locking the door after herself Mitsu headed over to the reaper dormitory and up to the second floor where Shun's room was. She didn't even bother knocking, instead she pulled the key he had given her from her pocket and let herself in.
"Shun?" Mitsu asked as she peeked her head in. The lights were off and there wasn't even the slightest hint of noise like he might be there. Not in the shower, not sleeping, just...he wasn't there. A bit worried Mitsu moved inside the room and closed the door making her way to the bed to have a seat in the meantime. Maybe she would wait for a while. It was possible he had just gone to the store for something and would be right back. It wasn't terribly late at this point.

After having been out and about and being awkwardly helped back to the dorms by Riyo, Shun was making his way up the stairs. It was a bit of an arduous task, considering his current injuries. But, with time, he managed to climb up to the fourth floor. Once he reached his floor, he paused to collect himself, then went on to his room.
Upon entering, he was a bit surprised to find Mitsu waiting inside.
"Oh, hello," he greeted while straightening up a bit. He had to wonder how long she had been in here. In the back of his mind, he was also wondering how long she planned on staying. If she just wanted to stop by for a bit, he figured he could hold off on treating his injuries. He didn't really want her fussing over him and all.

Mitsu had waited for some time in his room, worry hitting her hard when there was no sign of him. She thought about calling again but wondered if she would still get his voice mail. Taking out her phone she stared at the screen pondering what to do. Deciding it best to try Mitsu called his number again but like before he didn't answer. Perhaps...he just had it on silent? It was hopeful thinking.
It wasn't until her ears picked up footsteps down the hall that her eyes lit up. Sitting a little straighter on the bed she waited until she finally heard the turn of the knob and finally saw Shun. There was a smile to greet him as she stood though she wavered slightly seeing his tired posture that quickly straightened as soon as he saw her. It made her curious but she didn't think much else of it since he seemed to be fine.
"Hi," She smiled making her way over, her arms reaching out for a hug. "Where have you been? I tried to call before I came over." Her tone was light like she seriously expected him to tell her he had gone to the store or gotten something to eat. Now that he was here the worse case scenario fell to the way side.

Expression softening, he walked over towards her, lightly wrapping his arms around the girl to embrace. It wasn't too tight of a hug, as he didn't want to tug at his wound.
"I was just in town," he said before tilting his head. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled it out to see that he had a missed call by her, "Ah right, my phone was on silent. Sorry if I worried you."
It wasn't a lie, but he wasn't sure if he should explain any further. Shun rarely knew how much he should say exactly for these things. He didn't want her worrying about him. That aside, he didn't want her to think poorly of him either.
"I hope you weren't waiting long here, were you?"

"I was a little worried," Mitsu admitted but smiled warmly as she stepped into the hug. The light embrace didn't seem to trigger anything that something might be wrong. "I haven't been here long." She lied.
As she continued to stand by him a scent caught her nose. The warm smile she had faded as she leaned in closer to sniff his clothes. It was hard to forget that metallic coppery scent once you were familiar with it. "W..what were you doing in town?" Mitsu asked slowly pulling back just enough to look the reaper over. Why did he smell like blood? "Are....you hurt?" The worry suddenly flooded back as she began to speculate what was wrong.

For a moment or so, Shun thought he might just be able to get away without a hitch. However, that keen nose of Mitsu's seemed to have caught onto something. Furrowing his brow, he heard her sniff the air lightly before looking him over. Most likely she had picked up the scent of blood on him.
"I.. had to run an errand. And it's just a scratch. Nothing to worry about," he said softly.
He really didn't know how bad the injury was really, having had a chance to look it over.

"An errand?" The blood she smelled seemed to be from more than just a scratch. It was heavy around him and all the more noticeable the longer she stood by him. "W..where are you hurt? Let me see."
Carefully she started to reach for his shirt to lift it up. Her eyes had shifted to look at his torso where she thought the injury might be but in doing so she caught sight of one of his hands and the red that covered it. Panic hit her as she looked him over, the dark wet spot on his side almost impossible to see with his clothing. "S..Shun! That's more than a scratch. What happened? N..no never mind, sit down." She instructed in a hurry, leading him over to the bed.

Looking down as she lifted his shirt up, he noticed now that there was a sizable dark blotch on his shirt now. Most likely it came from the blood he had spilled. Furrowing his brow, Shun nodded grimly before moving over towards the bed to sit down. Even with the blood he still didn't think it was that bad.
"It's probably not too bad still," he tried to reassure before removing his jacket. Since she already knew he was hurt, there wasn't much of a point in trying to hide it. With a sigh, he gingerly removed his shirt as well. Just below his ribcage on his right side were two cuts. The bleeding had stopped for the most part, it seemed.
"..See? Could be worse."

Once the reaper was seated Mitsu stood back while he removed his jacket and then his shirt. If the cuts on his side didn't make her grimace his reaction to the wounds did. "S-Shun..." She whimpered moving in closer to have a better look. The bleeding had mostly stopped but the wounds were deep. "T..these look like they might need stitches. What were you doing anyway?"
Not waiting around for an answer Mitsu got up and vanished into the bathroom reappearing not long after with the first aid kit in hand. It was lucky she had been taking classes with Ms. Cricket, she knew a bit more about stitches now. Anything she did wouldn't look as poor as her first attempt on herself though Mitsu felt like she had to cut herself a little slack....she had been stitching herself. That wasn't really an easy task.

Letting out a sigh, Shun ran a hand through his hair. She was still worrying a lot over him.
"I had to make a delivery of sorts.." he said, giving a little more insight on what happened. Even then, he still didn't get too far into the specifics.
Watching he as she came back with the first aid kit, he grimaced a bit.
"It's.. really not that bad."

He was trying to reassure her but the look in her eyes said volumes about the amount of worrying she would do if he didn't let her treat him. Her eyes suddenly seemed to dominate her face looking a little glassy like tears were threatening to gather. The ears that normally stood perked on the top of her head drooped as if deflated and just as an added effect her head tilted down so that she had to look up. Sad puppy eyes were in full effect, there was no way around it.
"B..but it is a big deal." Mitsu protested setting the supplies on the bed beside him. "What if you had been hurt worse? What if you had bled all over the place with no help?" Death was becoming a little easier to deal with, Mitsu had experienced in first hand but that didn't make her not worry that at some point...they might not come back.

Seeing that look in her eyes, Shun's expression softened before letting out a sigh once more. He placed a hand onto her head, still trying to get her to calm down. A part of him still wasn't completely used to being fussed over. Most likely he'd never really get used to it.
"I didn't get hurt worse and well... if that was the case I would have just shown up at Cricket's office. Really, try not to worry. I'm alright," he said quietly. His hand moved from the top of her head down to lightly caress her cheek.

Her frowned deepened, even as he placed a hand on her head. "You shouldn't rely on the hope that you'll just show up in Nurse Cricket's office." Now it really did look like tears were going to gather in her eyes. "People don't always come back." Mitsu managed, though she quickly averted her eyes to the first aid kit as he caressed her cheek. Kneeling beside the bed she opened the kit and started to pull out the things she would need to clean his wound.
"I worry because I care about you, Shun." She said softly pouring a bit of disinfectant on a clean cloth. "If I didn't worry...then I wouldn't really care then would I?" Finally she turned up to look him in the eyes. "Would you worry any less about me?"

"... I wouldn't. I'd worry about you regardless," he said quietly before shaking his head. Shun didn't want her to start crying. He really didn't.
"And I know they don't always do, but most of the time.. yes," he said before glancing at the cloth with disinfectant. This was going to sting quite a bit. But it was a necessary pain.

At first Mitsu thought Shun was saying he wouldn't worry. It made her heart sink a little but he quickly rectified that statement when he said he would worry regardless about her. She nodded slightly, still too upset that he was taking this so lightly to be happy.
"Most of the time isn't all of the time," It was barely a whisper but she had a feeling she wasn't going to get her feelings on the matter across to him. He wasn't concerned about dying like she was. Sighing lightly she held up the cloth to his side. "Brace yourself." She instructed before she began to dab at the wound. Her cleaning process was thorough but still quick. First aid classes had served her well. Once she was done she set the cloth aside and began to dig for needle and thread.
Needle in hand she thread it before disinfecting everything before its intended use. Moving closer to Shun she looked the wound over to see where would be the best to start. It didn't look like it needed many stitches but a few would be necessary. "Did someone attack you?" She wanted to know more about what had happened to cause this, questioning as she began to work and stitch him up.
