Personality: His general attitude is stern and calm, a gentle touch when necessary. He is a sympathetic figure for those within the Brotherhood due to his tragic history, but also for his great empathy for the rest of the Brotherhood. In a way, they are now his surrogate family, though he knows in his heart they will never live up to what he once had with his darling wife Reiko. He seeks comfort in what little he has within the Brotherhood, but mostly, through his work. He is fanatic anymore about only one thing in this world...doing God's work and cleansing the country of all traces of Lucifer's sick influence. Demons, Atma-Users, even Demi-Fiends...those who have tainted power which perverts humanity and those who use their power carelessly...fall under the jurisdiction of the Brotherhood. Katsu and his allies exist to ensure those who break the law of natural order, of God's order, will suffer their just desserts.

On any day he can seem just like your normal, calm, caring, mature man. A painful sort of normal. And if you look into his face on a good day (and not his eyes) you can see the sort of man he was (and could have been) before that day...

Bio: The best way to describe Katsu before the incident that changed his life was normal. He had a wife, ran a cozy little book store together with his wife in Okina City, and for seven years of married life, Katsu and Reiko Urushitani were happy. They made a decent wage, they kept a decent home, but their lives were full because they had one another.

Then came the incident. Or as those who remember the day more clearly have come to call it, the day of the Persona War. On the day that the Mahadeva fell and the Demon King emerged from the underworld, their shop was spared the initial destruction. Still, the young couple could feel the terror in the outside world, and hear the destruction as the fighting began. Huddled beneath the counter of their shop, they prayed to whatever gods were listening that they could escape the chaos with their lives, that they could simply hold on to the little lives that they had made together. It didn't matter if the shop failed to survive, only that they could still be together. ...It was late in the battle when the sounds of fighting nearby began to catch their attention, a duel between two strange warriors who sounded human but didn't look quite so much from the outside window. Peering out from beneath the counter of their shop, Katsu whispered words to his wife that he would never forget, which would always haunt him. "Don't worry. Everything's going to be fine," he promised, offering a small smile as he brushed her cheek, then stepped out to get a closer look at the chaos beyond the window. He could see them, two strange fighters...one of them distinctly human, the other distinctly non. He can't quite remember their faces until this day, only that he would recognize them to see them...he became too distracted when the vibrations and the power rolling away from the battle suddenly became too heavy, his shop's walls began to rumble and shake. Turning as the shaking became violent, he saw his wife's lovely face peek out from behind the counter...her eyes met his, and he moved his lips to tell her to hide beneath the counter once more. ...And then the roof of the shop collapsed in on top of them, crushing them beneath the rubble.

He came to not long after, perhaps no more than ten minutes but he couldn't tell. Struggling against the loose sediment and rubble above him, he freed himself from the position and crawled, disoriented, towards the back of the shop and his wife. ...He couldn't hear her, couldn't see her from the other side...he crawled until he shoved his way behind the counter and over to the place where his wife lay beneath the collapsed roof. ...He dug with his hands until his nails bled, until at last the sight of her face did greet him, only with void, empty eyes. He clawed until he could take her hand, but it was cold instead of warm. Everything that came after was both a blur and clear as day. He cried...screamed, prayed that everything which had happened was a joke, was a mistake that could be taken back. He had always been a good man, and bad things didn't happen to good people. Or at least, not to her. Even as the city rebuilt itself around him, as the city forgot about the war, his despair by sheer force of will would not allow him to let go...and as the casualties were returned to life in all the world surrounding them, his wife's life was not. She lay still upon the floor of the shop as cold as the stone, and Katsu cursed and smashed his hands upon the wall until blood streaked from his knuckles. Finally, his anger spent, he collapsed upon her body and he pleaded...with all of his hope and all of his despair for something, anything to make it all make sense. To give his life back to him. To bring pain and misery and all the hurts the careless warriors, those demons had wrought back down upon their heads.

...It was the very last of those pleas that was heard, by a servant of the Great Will called Uriel, and when it came unto the Earth it proclaimed itself to be a high soldier of the Pale Legion which allied itself against the forces of the Great Deceiver. It promised not that it could revive the man's lost wife, but that it could offer him a purpose instead, to bring vengeance and justice upon the enemies of their Lord...those who transgressed against God and Law itself. It offered to him the Arms of the Pale, weapons of the Pale Legion which could be used as the lynchpin of a new Brotherhood of mankind which could bring about a change in the world for the better...so that tragedies such as the one which befell Reiko would never happen to anyone again. ...It didn't all make sense to him at the time, but it didn't need to. He was desperate, heartbroken, in need of a purpose to justify living on without her. And so he accepted...with some trepidation at first as he came to learn of his new role as the Speaker, the Harbinger of the Brotherhood of the Pale Knight...though as time began to pass and he watched as the country inched closer yet again towards the edge of tragic war, he could begin to see the true justice within their work, within he words of the Pale Legion.

With this power, they could turn hate and careless power back upon those who unleashed it upon humanity; they could bring justice to those who were hurt and cleanse the country of the rot which plagued her...the servants of Lucifer...and much more. Now this ideal is the only thing left that he believes in, the ideal and this Brotherhood...that some day, if he serves well enough and proudly enough, he might one day be free of the guilt and pain which plagues him.

Note: Members of the Brotherhood of the Pale Knight have suffered at some point in their history a tragedy which befell them at the hands of a demon, demons, Atma-Users, or some other supernatural force. As a result, they harbor a deep desire for vengeance or 'justice' against all of that kind. The specific instance in which they were turned onto this path is important!

Also of note is that when joining the Pale Knights, a member swears loyalty not just to the Brotherhood, but the Pale Legion, a heavenly sect of angels which bestow a gift of power upon the Brotherhood initiates known as the 'Arms of the Pale'. These 'Arms' are literal items which imbue the one who holds them with three 'Flares', which can be used to strike out against all who pervert the will of God. Note that when you swear loyalty to the Pale, you can never revoke your pledge lest you become an enemy of God himself.

Members of the Brotherhood wear a blue band somewhere upon their body with a white plate upon it. On the white plate is a Blue Shield with a White Cross symbol.

Battleborn - Hyper charges his abilities; double magic, power, defense, and speed and imbues his weapon with a Heavy Light Elemental Damage. (Lasts 4 turns)
Pale Starlight - From the tip of his blade a brilliant, but calm light shines. Pouring all of his power into his blade, he thrust it forward and unleashes a beam of purifying energy which eliminates evil! Severe Light/Almighty damage. May hit at long range. Power increases against demons, when health is low, and during the Dark Hour. Lingering light damage dealt to non-human enemies for 3 turns after.

Personality: Jean could not be a more amiable, Canadian sort of guy. Very quiet and friendly the giant lummox will only really come out of his shell around other Brotherhood members or people who he becomes very close with. That said there was never a person in need that Jean didn't go out of his way to help with their problems.

Bio: Born in the wilderness of Canada Jean-Christophe was adopted as a child by the Inuit medicine man who had taken care of his mother in her dying days. From an early age the young Canadian was groomed to be the aging medicine man's successor and teacher and student were like father and son. Over many years Jean and his adoptive father worked together, moving together from town to town, reservation to reservation, offering what help they could. Over the years J.C. became a master healer in his own right. As time wore on and Jean's father grew older Jean decided that they had to settle down. Within a few days Jean, with the help of many of the people the medicine man had healed over the years, built a small cabin for them to live in. So moved by their generosity with food and labor Jean agreed to heal anyone who came to his door in need. For a couple more years Jean continued trading healing for food and safety and although the work was hard he did not resent it. At that time Jean's father, who by now was an old man, had become bedridden, and as much as Jean hated leaving his father alone whenever he heard word of a sick child or ailing mother Jean would leave to meet them. It was one day, after returning from a nearby town where he had healed many of the sick and injured, Jean returned home to find the door ajar. Going inside to see what was the matter Jean was greeted with a horrible sight. Within the small one room cabin, standing over his father's bed, was a demon. There was blood everywhere and as the demon turned Jean caught a glimpse of his father, dead in his bed, a defenseless man mauled to death by a demon. Flying into a rage Jean struck out with his father's prized staff beating the creature into submission with it and then resolving to use his fists until the demon had died by his own hands.

So frightened by his sudden fit of rage Jean buried his father beside the cabin and then disappeared into the night. Little is known about where he went or what he did, but eventually he ended up in Japan. Not long after arriving Jean was approached by a mysterious man claiming to be a messenger from a higher power who had heard the young healer's prayers for justice. At first Jean did not believe the man;s stories, but when this mysterious person mentioned that it must be hard losing a father to demons Jean began to believe. It wasn't long after that that Jean took the Pale Knight oath and received his Arm of the Pale, a shining staff once wielded by a healer who could cure any wound or ailment with nothing more than a touch.

Personality: He's very Analytical, to the point that it's scary, and has a habit of staring down people, whether it be for information, or sheer curiousity. He's a bit loud at times, and sometimes acts a bit neurotic, but he's fairly smart, and good about putting two and two together. However, to those who don't know him, or that he doesn't know, he comes off as cold, heartless, or even insane at times. Has a bad habit of not eating as much as he should, and thus is underweight. Finds himself getting lost in other things far too often, and prefers cold enviorments.

Bio: Shirai used to be a rather plain person, yet actually had a lot of friends. Well, used to. With the outbreak of demons, and the widespread of COMPs, they all seemed to start fading away, being more interested in their newfound demon pals and such.

However, with COMPs being as dangerous as they were, it wasn't long before his friends started dying off, killed by the things. One person in particular, he decided to investigate one of his closest friends, (in his mind) and oldest Bros. However.....the bro seemed to make a girl appear out of nowhere! And then tried to tell others that she was just some other human! Of course, that wasn't the full extent of things, seeing as a new demon girlfriend wasn't traumatic enough to warrant too much concern. However...one night, as he came home, he noticed his mother was nowhere to be seen, but his father was standing in the living room, like some sort of zombie, as a demonic Temptess seemed to siphon his very life force! As Shirai made his way out of the house, the figure even sprouted long, black wings to come after him, and he spent a long time running away in fear of the thing.
His legs had burned with lactic acid, but eventually he escaped the vile being, hiding out in the floodplains until the morning.

Returning home, his father seemed to be Entranced by the being, asking if Shirai had seen it. Several days had passed, and one night, Shirai overheard the voice again. The terrifying, demonic female voice talking to his father. Promising him that it would return in an hour if he would sacrifice his family, for her. (Burning down the house, in particular). Shirai hoped his father wasn't that weak-willed, but as he smelt smoke, he could only to escape the house and flee, making a bedsheet ladder to get out of his room. He returned a while later to find that his house was nothing but a pile of Ashes, and his father's cold corpse on the ground, watching as a winged figure dissapeared into the night. It was then, Shirai knew that he could never forgive Demon Kind! First his school friends, then his bro, then his Family!!

Finding out about the brotherhood through a deep prayer to God, he quickly swore to it's oath, and declared he would rid the world of it's tainted, demonic Influence. He harbors special hatred for Female Demons in particular, thinking they try to use their otherworldly charms to ensare the Human males as they had with his father! He was thus granted with his 'Arm', a pair of Glasses that he wears at all times, that grant him the strength he needs to take his revenge!

[Venusian Bane] Arm: Flares:

Chivalry is Deaaaaaaaaaaaad! -Shirai's Attacks do 50% More Damage against Female demons/Atma Users, and he takes 25% less Damage from them.
Cold day in Hell - Shirai's glasses seem to freeze over for a bit, his eyes not visible through the glasses for a bit, and the very air around them going cold, before a monstorus Avalanch-Like Burst of Ice Energy crushes his Opponent. Ice-breaks an Opponent, then Deals Very-High to Severe level Ice-damage. 4 turn Cooldown between uses, and can not be used more than twice a fight.
Cold Riser - Shirai focuses all of his energy, and concentrates, letting it swell inside him, and give him a cold sensation that rises up his senses. Gives him a Heat-Riser Effect, but also Gives him a Power Charge and a Mind Charge! Cooldown of 3 turns after the effects wear off/are used.

Personality: JUSTICE INCARNATE. Or so she'd like to be, anyway. Al's obsession with bringing criminals and demons down is almost frightening; despite that, she seems to be a basically good girl at heart. What she lacks in common sense, she makes up for with an incredible degree of confidence, driving things forward through sheer force of will. She was basically indoctrinated with stories about heroes and justice from an early age (her parents were nearly as weird as she is), and she was isolated enough to not quite grasp that stories about heroes were rarely true.

Put another way, she's completely bonkers about justice.

Oddly, Al has inexplicable feelings about machetes. When holding one, she says she has this incredible urge to run down the street and decapitate evildoers...

Aside from her unusual, probably unhealthy obsession with matters related to justice, Al is a generally friendly and outgoing sort of girl, frequently willing to lend a hand to anybody who needs it. She doesn't expect (or even particularly want) anything in return; to her, helping others is simply the right thing to do, though she won't refuse a reward freely offered. Her tastes in clothes run to 'frilly' (and often impractical), and she's bad at being subtle. Really, really bad. Doesn't stop her from trying, though.

Bio: Born to a rather sheltered life, Al never got out very much; she was too busy studying and living up to her parents' expectations, and when she wasn't doing that, she was watching Super Sentai shows, giant robot shows (particularly when they combined!), and all other manner of justice-y material. This had a problematic effect of leading the girl to believe that this is the way the world actually works, since she's practically been brainwashed by the stuff.

Of course, the lives of many dedicated to the ideals of justice often contain tragedies. Few people are so absolutely dedicated to justice without cause, after all. In Al's case, she's a person who leans towards the mentality of Lawful Good; protecting people and doing the right thing is what's best, and a fair and acceptable code of conduct is the best way to help others and promote the greater good. Despite the degree to which she idolizes 'heroes', or perhaps because of it, Al feels that true justice is even more important than the rules. That is, the law should set people free, not act as fetters to bind them. Those who have tried to change her mind on this sort of thing did not enjoy the experience. To Al, justice is about properly punishing those who harm others. She probably would have joined the Pale Legion even if that was all that had happened in her life... but many of those who would be heroes have a more personal understanding of what it means to implement justice.

The worst scenario for Al was when she was facing one of the worst tragedies in Iwadate. The town had been worried for some time about the presence of a serial killer and, with her typical lack of attention to threats, Al went to go hunt down the criminal. A dangerous act at the best of times, but the real problem in this scenario was that her foe was a demon, and not one of the nice ones. Through quite a lot of dogged persistance, Al eventually tracked the demon to its lair and realized just what she was dealing with... and found the bodies of a lot of children that had gone missing over time. This filled her petite body with no small amount of rage, and Al promptly attacked the demon. This might not have ended too well, except for the relevant little detail that Al's boots were a rare and unusual item, enchanted with significant power; these same boots made the girl's kicks drastically more powerful than most people ever managed without the use of special skills, and served to be an excellent choice for attacking her foe. Her own inclination towards gymnastics and athletics helped, too, and she didn't really let up.

Unfortunately, real life rarely goes the way it does in television shows, and all the belief in the world can't change this. The demon, realizing the trouble it was in, activated what it had long considered a pleasant way to torture children, and an actual spiked ceiling began dropping towards the cage of children that were still alive in its lair. If Al destroyed it (completely possible with the power her kicks had), she'd be able to save the children... and the demon would be able to get away and murder more children somewhere else. Al never had learned how to avoid people in front of her who needed help, so she lunged to go save the children there. The demon escaped, just as it had planned, and Al soon set out to go try and track it down again, determined to put an end to it once and for all; the cries of pained children are the sorts of things that haunt her nightmares, after all.

The Brotherhood of the Pale Knight came across her about then, and realized the kind of potential she had. She's been with them ever since. That is, after realizing that they were a group dedicated to upholding justice and exterminating such demons, they would've found it pretty hard to keep her out of it. Many of the members think of her as something like a mascot, since she's cute, short, and friendly. The others are fond of the fact that as long as she's around, it's a lot easier to keep fighting, because her skills are such that she simply doesn't give up very easily, and she doesn't allow her friends to do so either... The Brotherhood of the Pale Knight was actually quite startled to realize just how great her determination is, and what an asset to them she would become.

Demonbane Arm: Flares:

[Support] Righteous Anger - Al is pretty focused on taking down the enemies of justice, and her attacks deal 50% more damage to Chaotic/Evil/Demonic* opponents. Interestingly, because of her devotion, her attacks also deal 50% less damage to Lawful/Good/Angelic beings, who would typically be her allies, unless they've both agreed to some kind of duel (or they started it). She's kinda iffy on the Neutral people, which is why her attacks are normal against them.
[Defense] A Hero's Determination - To Al Azif, a hero is somebody who can take incredible punishment and survive to triumph. She really, seriously believes that this is the way the world is supposed to work, particularly when important things are on the line. Thus, the lower her HP gets, the higher her defense becomes, going from reducing 10% damage when she's been minorly scratched to 66% (the maximum) if she's been seriously injured, with some degrees between.
[Offense] Lemuria Impact: Ain Soph Aur - Al's ultimate attack, putting all of her power and desire for justice into one incredibly powerful blow. A huge space in front of her is subjected to a combination that Al describes as "Infinite Heat, Infinite Gravity, and Love", apparently on the theory that her enemies will enjoy none of these. She might be exaggerating just a little on the description, but it certainly looks the part. The power of this spell is equal to a mind-charged blast of Severe Almighty damage to All Enemies, and must cool down for five posts before she can use it again.

Usage Note: The normal name for this offensive skill is just "Lemuria Impact", and "Ain Soph Aur" is added if it's been mind charged by that actual skill.

*To clarify, MegaTen tends to refer to all kinds of spirits (including gods and angels) as 'Demons'. For this technique, only demons of an obviously chaotic and/or evil inclination are affected.

Personality: Sweet and quiet, Faye has never been social as much of her reputation in her home country was just speculation. The death of her family has caused her to withdraw into herself some, and has made her only comfortable with speaking around one or two people at a time. When facing a demon she seems to shift personalities and her natural abilities as a huntress become clear; there is no hesitation when she locks onto an enemy, although there is some mercy.

Bio: The Chevalier family grew up on the French country side, apart from civilization the little family specialized in hunting and trapping; the furs and various meats they would bring to the neighboring village at least once a week fetched them a pretty penny. They were known for their four amazing hunters and their lone girl and prodigy child. The fiery redhead was well known for being beautiful, rumors about her were common, what boy she might take an interest in, what powerful creature she'd struck down and brought to sell in the market... The rumors eventually reached an ancient demon in their woods, a creature who had for the most part avoided humanity since his last unwelcome visit during the werewolf craze. The old wolf sought to investigate the rumors and upon observing the redheaded huntress, took an interest in her – it was only natural that he should take a bride, that he should blend into this society in order to start up his killing spree again. Weeks of planning and observing lead up to one life changing event for Faye; one day when the young woman went out on a long hunt the wolf struck.

The smell of blood was thick in the air as the redhead returned to her family's residence, the front door bore deep scratches and hung limply on one hinge and there was a faint rustling sound. Faye opened the door to discover her family slaughtered on the floor, blood painted the walls and it looked as though parts of her brothers had been eaten. Her stomach turned as her eyes lit upon the demon who stood in the middle of the disgusting mess and had the nerve to say that she would become his bride then. Faye ran then, with the demon at her heels as he made his point clear that she would agree or she too would fall. The chase continued, the hunter was now the huntress as she desperatly sought shelter; the moon was beginning to rise and there was nowhere to go but up. Faye scaled a tree and drew the bow that she had been using earlier that day and displayed her talent. Two arrows were fired and two was all it took, the first struck the beast between it's eyes, the second put out it's yellow right eye and pierced it's brain. A deep hatred and fear for demons was born then as the girl who as she climbed down from the tree and returned to bury her dead. Faye was left with nothing but her faith and relied heavily on prayer to get her through this hard time.

Personality: Chiharu is a strong woman. She’s caring, especially with children, perceptive and most of the times thoughtful. Bio: She had been ready to be a single mom. Despite of everything that had happened, she was content. This baby was everything she needed and wanted, and she was sure she’d be able to take care of it on her own. Many had done it…it would be hard, she knew, but…she’d be able to. She really clung to this new life, and hadn’t even thought about letting it go, even once, even with the comments and suggestions given to her by friends, family.
Time moved quickly, and with each month passed, the girl was getting even more attached to the idea of bringing a new life to the world… She was optimistic of the future. Names, books, tiny clothes…Everything brought a tender feeling to her. But...perhaps her optimism had been wrongly placed after all.
One day…one day she believed to be no different from all others, a fight broke loose near from where she had been working. Perhaps it shouldn’t have been such a great fuss…but these were demons fighting. All kinds of spells, and explosions took place a few meters away, and everything she could do was to try and take shelter. Still, when a powerful explosion of pure raw power made a wall to collapse, pieces of concrete and metal scraps destroyed little shelter she had been able to take. A great pain took over her body, and all she could see was crimson everywhere. Debris, metal, skin… everything twisted together in her blurred vision. It wasn’t long after for her to collapse. Waking up days later in the hospital, she was told that a metal bar had impaled her, and with the blood loss and organ trauma, they hadn’t been able to save the baby.
Her world collapsed then, falling in depression even after she was out of the hospital and strong enough to move on her own. There was nothing else to live for. Her faith began to waver…until one day, in all of her rage and pain she found out of the Legion and their fight for justice. And thus…she joined in hopes to regain her own faith in the world…and make sure the demons causing her so much harm would disappear.

Personality: As with age Yukio has become something of your typical grumpy old man. Dislike socializing with others, unless it is about business, and has a poor tolerance he is actually dragged into idle conversation. He is a man of simple taste, being alone is one of them, with a book and some tea; fondly remembering the times when he had a family. Researching is like a second nature to him, when there is something new to discover, Yukio is on it without a second thought as he believes that knowledge is power. Despite his quick temper on others, Yukio is still a teacher, and that can be used as an excuse for saying that he has a soft side for those in need. He would give advice to others, though will be bold and harsh, when they ever need it and is willing to teach to those who want it. In the end Yukio is a define man, respectable and will not tolerate anyone being disrespectable or just wasting his time.

Bio: Before everything changed around him, life was good; normal, peaceful. There wasn’t anything special about him in the days of his youth, he had a wonderful family, was an only child, but Yukio did have this passion to learn. As he figured that Knowledge was power, in different sense of the word, and so he kept studying and exceling in his school. With years going by, he became a scholar at a university in Tokyo, and it was in this university where Yukio met the love of his life. Though the two started off on a rough foot, as Yukio wasn’t much of a social man, but she manage to bring him out of his comfort soon little by little and with time their hearts intertwine. He continued to follow his dreams of wanting to know more, with his love by his side, but when it was time to see what was really important; Yukio decided to settle down with her. They wanted to wed, but the father of Yukio’s sweetheart was far from accepting the two. He had plans for her, big plans, and demanded that she forget Yukio and come back home. She would not as she was happy being with Yukio and despite the bribes that Yukio was offered he stood strong and declined them. The result of this conflict caused the father to disown her, but she didn’t care, she was with Yukio and that was all that matters. The two were wed and their family grew with the years, having two children with them. Yukio grew to be an aspiring and successful professor, living a humbly with his family rather than basking in the glam life of his success. His passion of knowledge began to rise once more, and this time he kept things in a balance so that he could spend time with his family. His curiosity with the unknown became a fascination. Myths, Angels, Demons, Spirits, Gods, things that could not be solved with mere equations; he grew deeper into them even starting teaching a class on Mythology.

One day, after his session as over, a visitor came into Yukio’s classroom. It was the father, after all these years, but something was different about him. Yukio was now in his forties, and if he wasn’t mistaken the father should at least be in his late 60s by now, but he did not look any older than 27 year old man. Whatever business he had with Yukio it must have been serious, as he was shaking, frantic, and definitely appeared to have soiled himself well. He held onto Yukio, begging him to help, thinking that he had done a terrible mistake. Yukio tried to calm him down, trying to get a clear answer from him, but it was all in vain. He kept saying that he shouldn’t have done it, and about a debt to be paid, repeated words and nothing more. The professor now believed that this man was just playing tricks on him and left for him despite his cry of warnings. Returning to his home, Yukio saw that something was wrong, the lights were out, and the door was opening and closing. Quick and with caution Yukio went it no his home, only to see horror beyond anything he could imagine. The inside was wrecked, and destroyed, but that wasn’t even the worse part of it. Inside there was this thing, scaly and monstrous, it was something that Yukio would have never imagined; it was a demon; a demon holding up and feeding on his daughter like a snack. His son received a quicker fate; the remains of him were crushed and smeared across the walls. He was frozen, fear, anger, sadness, these couldn’t even fully express the absolute shock he was going through. The demon took notice after his snack was done with, and began to tell him in a pleasant tone that it was nothing personal, a debt was a debt, three souls for eternal youth. Three souls and two were taken; Yukio would not allow his wife to be taken and rushed in to try and attack, but it was too late. His wife screamed as she popped out of her hiding place, only to get scorched by hellish fire. Yukio yelled in anguish, his anger could not be unleashed as the demon disappeared immediately; all he could do was to try and put out the fire. They dimmed down and Yukio held her close, telling her it will be alright, he is here, she will make it, but he was deluding himself; his wife fell through his arms in a pile of ash.

The incident was deemed as arson, the house was burned down and all were presumed dead. The truth is that Yukio burned the house and disappeared. Living the life of a broken man on the streets, mourning for his lost, knowing that there was nothing to he could do to bring them back. There was nothing he could do to avenge their deaths, or was there? Apparently there was someone who knew the truth behind what really happen it him; A man offering him a chance to join him in order to make sure demons, and supernatural abuse would stop. This man had a strong sense of justice, and Yukio’s chance to avenge their death as well as to make sure that something like this would never happen again appeared. Taking his hand Yukio joined the Brotherhood of the Pale Knights.

Note: Members of the Brotherhood of the Pale Knight have suffered at some point in their history a tragedy which befell them at the hands of a demon, demons, Atma-Users, or some other supernatural force. As a result, they harbor a deep desire for vengeance or 'justice' against all of that kind. The specific instance in which they were turned onto this path is important!

Also of note is that when joining the Pale Knights, a member swears loyalty not just to the Brotherhood, but the Pale Legion, a heavenly sect of angels which bestow a gift of power upon the Brotherhood initiates known as the 'Arms of the Pale'. These 'Arms' are literal items which imbue the one who holds them with three 'Flares', which can be used to strike out against all who pervert the will of God. Note that when you swear loyalty to the Pale, you can never revoke your pledge lest you become an enemy of God himself.

Members of the Brotherhood wear a blue band somewhere upon their body with a white plate upon it. On the white plate is a Blue Shield with a White Cross symbol.

Invisible Shield of Everlasting Enchantment - As the name goes, Yukio casts down a shield around him, reducing magical damage by 50% while raising his own magical offense by the same percentage.
Spirit of Vishanti - With The Light of Truth, Lady of Skies, and The Lord of Hosts combines into his body becoming one with Vishanti. His stats increases drastically while his fists of might delivers physical almighty damage, his skills are nullified, but they are replaced with ability to shoot out energy for High Almighty damage (Last for 6 posts and a 3 posts cool down)
