Zarfia silently strolled through the forest Proud. Elegant. Powerful. Every pokemon who happens to see her in her full glory becomes silent and slack-jawed at her. She does not pay much mind to them as she head for the creek for a cool drink.
Zarfia is one of the very few Raikou in this parts of Pokemon World. Besides the unique coat pattern that features subtle heart-shaped rosettes, the jewel that holds a small piece of a Thunder Stone and a lightning-shaped bolt is a sure way to identify her as Zarfia.
It was a rare thing for Zarfia to venture away from her mountain home but her job as guardian is to patrol everywhere. Other pokemon often only see glimpse of her or her distinctive thunder of blue lightning trails.
Zarfia stepped into the clearing of the creek and knelt to lap at the refreshing water. She purred lightly in her chest as this water has not been tainted by humans.
Zarfia is indifferent to humans. They are slowly destroying her home and the pokemon protect but the very same pokemon that she is bound to protect becomes partners with these humans and are loyal to them.
She has not encountered a human that she felt worthy of her presence or her power and she is in no hurry to seek that particular human.

Shina, still half-asleep, stumbled from her warm nest in the base of an old fallen tree and made her way to the stream she had noted last night. Half-asleep was probably being generous, as it assumed the other half was "awake," not "yawning her fool head off and not watching where she was going."
The combination of being half asleep and half yawning her head off would have led Shina straight into the stream itself, if it had not first led her rather abruptly right into a warm and furry side. She then fell over with a remarkably undignified "oof." Flailing, as that seemed the best idea with her brain not alert, Shina managed not to find her feet, but to find her way head first into the same stream she had just avoided walking into. The cold water did her quite a bit of good towards waking up as she flailed upright in the shallows, coming face to face with a Raikou, the same creature she had just walked into. Shina blinked.

Zarfia's head shot up abruptly at the rustling of the leaves and clumsiness. That was definitely not a pokemon. Pokemon knew better than to be this loud in this forest for fear of challenging a territorial pokemon.
The Raikou stood still and quiet as the clumsiness came from a human. Hn. It was odd to find a human in these parts of the forest. She continued to watch the human fall into the water with a flailing splash.
Zarfia's ruffles on her back waved behind her, mysteriously as she observed with vague interest. If this human showed any signs of darkness within her, Zarfia will take her far away from here and teach her a lesson in how to not mess with her.

Shina, now wet, cold, and still half asleep, though the other half was now mostly something related to awake, did something remarkably silly then. Confronted with a large, strange, wild pokemon, instead of just backing away and hoping it lost interest, groped at her belt, snatched a pokeball, and tossed it at the pokemon's head. Upon connecting soundly with the Raikou's forehead, it popped open to reveal Tenka. For a long moment, Tenka clung in surprise to Raikou's face, before flinging himself away and scuttling back.

Zarfia continued to stare at the human as she threw a pokeball at her forehead, which bounced off and appeared a little Emolga. The place where the pokeball hit, started to form a swelling bump. With that bump, came the anger. Raikou are not well known but Zarfia does not tolerate uncalled for attacks.
This human seems to be dim and if the human is dim, then the pokemon must be too. There's that saying, 'Only the fittest Pokemon can survive this world.'
"You are not welcome here nor worthy of my presence. I will put you both to rest and take you away from here."
With that, Zarfia started with a powerful attack, Bulldozer. She lifted her paw and stomped it to the ground. The earth shook. The wild pokemon in the area, either flew away or fled the area.

Tenka leaped into the air, avoiding the attack. Gathering his energy, Tenka released a bright Flash of light, hoping to blind his foe.

Zarfia was in shock that the Emolga manage to dodge her attack. Then it hit her. Urgh! How can she be so stupid?! Of course! Emolga is a flying and electric, so its weakness is not the usual Ground-Types. Zarfia was now more anger than before. More at herself than the flying electric pokemon.
The Raikou growled angrily as a blinding light blinded her.
Zarfia shook her mighty head to get her vision back before rethinking her moves.
So, the Raikou braced herself. Then out of nowhere, an powerful ball of psychic energy started to charge towards as Zarfia called for Extrasensory.

Tenka was buffeted by the psychic attack. He tried to shake it off, even though his brain felt a bit bruised. In the stream still, Shina woke up a bit more. "Tenka, Cut!" Tenka swooped towards the Raikou, his cape stiffened with strange energy into a hard, sharp edge.

Zarfia roared as the emolga made contact with her flank. She had managed to dodge just enough to get away from most of the damage of it but it was not enough to miss completely.
Glaring at the little flying mouse for a moment before opening her mouth to start up her next attack. Shadow Ball. The dark purple orb started to form and just grew. When it started to become out of control, Zarfia sent it straight at Tenka.

Tenka dropped one forepaw and raised the other, peeling off rapidly to the side as the blob of shadow narrowly missed him. Using the speed from his rapid dodge, Tenka swooped around and went for another run at the Raikou.

Seeing the attack before it made contact, Zarfia dodged nimbly out of the way. Not wasting time, she released another Shadow Ball at the Emolga.

Tenka was committed to his attack run and couldn't dodge in time. He went tumbling through the air, stabilized, gathered energy, and released another brilliant Flash.

Zarfia roared as the light of the Flash blinded her again. She tried to open her eyes but the world around her was in bright spots and slowly going back to normal.
This little pokemon is starting to get the best of her and she will not allow it.
Zarfia's vision was clearing up every second that pass but she knew those seconds were precious in a battle. As her sight improves, Zarfia charged up her next attack. The clouds in the sky started to darken and rumble. The moment her sight returned, Zarfia unleashed a powerful Thunder attack at the emolga.
