Niji was quite happy. He'd found a small, dry cave only a short distance from a stream and a berry bush, and somehow, it wasn't already claimed by another pokemon. His new territory was a wonderful place.

Continuing on her journey, wanting to level up her pokemon a bit more Syt headed down the peaceful path. It was Ginsei's turn to stretch her legs, the small fox pokemon scampered ahead of her, sniffing around at the grass and rocks that lined the path.

As Niji examined his territory, he abruptly came face to face with a large, scary outsider! "Go away, my territory!" he yelped, swinging a stiffened tail at the intruder. He needed to make the other pokemon go away! It could steal his den!

Not expecting it, Ginsei got struck across the face and gave a yip before jumping back. Growling she scratched her long front claws on the ground "I'm not trying to claim anything, but if you want a fight, I'll give you one"

"My territory!" snapped Niji again, too startled to really be very logical or coherent. Right now, he was running on fight or flight, and he didn't want to give up his nice new den. That left fight! Niji threw up a stinging cloud of dust to drive away the opponent.

Niji yelped and went tumbling, only to bounce back up and swat at the Zorua with another Iron Tail.

As the iron like tail hit Ginsei she gave a yip before rushing in once more. She wouldnt lose, she didnt even start the fight! Opening her jaws she spat a toxic blob like substance at the eevee

Niji skipped out of the way of the attack, and hissed wordlessly at the intruder before leaping forward in a Quick Attack.

Ginsei was knocked back a few paces by the attack. Shaking the dirt off her coat as much as she could, she stood up, waving her tail inticingly as she puffed out her chest fur, prancing towards him.

Niji paused. The female was very pretty. Maybe he didn't need to chase her out of his territory after all? No! Niji tried to shake it off and attacked again.
