 Beti was still amazed at how vast the savanna was. She'd grown up in the confines of the swamp, surrounded by water, mud, and great trees. Back home, the air was thick and heavy...a comforting weight to her full of the smells that only the swamp could hold. Out in the savanna, the air was much lighter, most of the scents in it unfamiliar and holding no weight to them. But...they had their own appeal. The pale female sat, taking in a deep breath.
Somewhere out in this wide world, she would find he adult name. The name she would bare for the rest of her life. But first...she wanted to find her mother's parents. The grandparents she COULD meet.

  Sara was happily moving along, especially now that Kumo had caught up to her. She was so happy that he was coming along to join mommys pride and now she had company. "Arent you excited to see mommy Kumo." She knew even though he would never admit it he was jumping on the inside. Even though Kumo wasnt born from the litter he was born with mommies old girlfriend and Sara has known him since she can remember. They still had a long trip ahead of them but as long as Kumo was there to keep her company she was happy she just wished he could have fun for once, she never understood why he was so serious.Kumo was a bit bitter, he had to leave his pride and his true family, not that Nyota and Sara werent part of his true family but they werent blood. He had to leave because of his true feelings, he couldnt love who he wanted and that was all he wanted to love whomever he wanted. But now that he was out of the pride he could, but he can never go back. He can never see his family again but thats okay Gin, his mother was never truely a mother, Nyota was more of a mother to him and on some level he believed in his mind she was. "I am excited, i just dont show it like you Sara." He said giving a slight smile. Kumo paused smelling a scent in the air. It smelt like family.... but thats not possible his family is in a pride."Whats wrong Kumo?" Sara said worrily. Kumo left Sara without a word and began to follow his nose, letting it lead him to where the scent was coming from."Kumo wait up!" Sara said running to catch up.
