Amumu

The Bounty Hunter

A heavy boot pushed the grains of sand away, leaving a print only to be washed away by the winds as the foot lifted from the dry earth. Sand filled winds threatened to cut at bear skin, make ever breath dry and blind sight only after a few feet. It was no surprise the people whom once resided here had left, leaving the buildings vacant of life or supplies of value.

A low grumble came from the inner core of the bounty hunter, travelling up through his body til it broke free from his lips. His distaste for the unfavorable weather that made tracking any kind of target a relative impossibility by normal means. Standing alone in the open bare streets of the town, the stood as an oddity. A figure wrapped in layers of cloth and fragments of torn fabrics his makeshift cloak suited only as cover from the winds and not a fashion statement. Military grade boots barely visible behind the long and heavy cloak that wrapped up over his broad shoulders to be met with a collection of scarfs that worked as a hood over the man's face. Shadows covered his eyes, hiding his gaze, but not the heat of his stare that broke through the dry air.
Holding a height of about 5'5 at best, the short bounty hunter was threatening not due to his size but his aura, an unsettling sense of death and decay that came from his being.

Boots landing heavy, spreading the dry earth under foot the bounty hunter made his way to the city square where the broken remains of a dried up fountain remained. He stood silent staring into the dry fountain as his armed crossed beneath his heavy cloak.

Amumu has entered the Ghost Town....

Cade The Imperfect

Moving from the direction opposite of Amumu's entry, a shadowy figure bounds across the abandoned buildings that litter the ghost town streets. It moves at an alarming pace, silent aside from the sound of its clothes rustling in the wind; it would only take minutes before the figure reveals itself before the bounty hunter.

Stopping on a dime, the figure comes to a halt atop an old saloon, perched at the very edge of the building's roof. Statuesque in its form, this guest may pass for a gargoyle if not for the fact that such ornaments aren't commonplace in this setting. Clad in dark clothes consisting of a loose-fitting top tucked into cloth forearm wraps adhered by rope, a red sash worn just above the navel, high-waist leggings, similar wraps to the ones on the arms around each calf, low-rise tabi shoes, and partial face mask that only conceals the lower half of the head and a bandana with two lengthy ties waving in the wind, this still character commands just as much mystery as Amumu himself. There is little doubt that this person is the reason Amumu has dragged himself all the way out to this ghost town.

Whatever business they had would have to be initiated by Amumu though, cause the ninja-esque character perched atop the saloon would do nothing by gaze upon the bounty hunter. Like Amumu's own, this gaze is also hidden beneath layers of shadow, but there is something eerily fierce about it; like a hawk carefully observing its prey. Though seemingly hesitant now, one should be able to sense that any sudden moves will be met with a deadly precision from the silent stranger.

Amumu

Gunman with the Eagle's Eye

A silhouette danced across the floor tops with bounds and glides that suggested great of nimbleness and spirit. A soft flutter of wind breaking across loose ropes and light weigh gear. Quick moments with virtually not a sound created desire the tin rooftop in which the shadowy figure traveled upon. Pieces of unsettling puzzle...did the hunter just become the hunted?
Shifting his weight, the heavy robes moved against the wind, resisting their directional forces much as the bounty hunter refused to become the prey. A man of his structure didn't build a name of cowardice or luck, but a fearless and prideful driven sense of purpose.

Dressed behind the darkness his gaze rested upon the figure whom held ever still upon the edge of the old saloon rooftop. A smirk broken underneath his heavy scarf, he would have guess assassin over ninja, but in hindsight he should have known better. Every aspect of his analysis had been quite correct, but one doesn't get to far in this business without a good sense of perceptive.
Feeling the eyes of the hawk on his throat, metaphorically. Being between the cross hairs of killer's sights was nothing new to the heavy dressed man however and the situation brought him neither fear or excitement. One could say this was his neutral state, his medium..his calm. One could almost see him yawning, as he appeared to exhale heavily behind the rags that covered his body. His actions were neither quick, or slacking as the barrel of a firearm poked out of the dirty rags, the iron sights falling on the ninja.

The sound of the erupted gunpowder rippled through he empty streets, echoing over the town and breaking the silence with a violent roar. Shrapnel of tin, iron and wood would fill the air only to become like razors in the sandy winds. A bullet had ripped through the rooftop and into the foundation of the very building in which the ninja stood even before the roar of the firearm dared to cry out. A purposefully missed shot that wouldn't of harmed the target even if he or she never budged at inch. A warning shot, not to induce a retreat but rather inform.
The hot air rising from the firearm gripped tightly in the bandaged hand of the bounty hunter had just discharged a modified .60 caliber round. A round completely capable of shredding through tank's armored shell. This would be the ninja's introduction to "Truth", Amumu's Revolver.

Cade The Imperfect

Ironically, despite the intent behind Amumu's shot being warning as opposed to retreat, retreat is precisely what his action had inspired within the ninja. The ninja figured there was something more to the wanderer's attire aside from shielding it from the wind, and that is precisely why it had chose not to act immediately. After all, a ninja knows the power of secrecy. What a fighter doesn't know. . .shall inevitably be that fighter's downfall.

Her dodge would have started the moment he pokes the gun from beneath those cloaks he wore, her hands swiftly coming together to form the seals of the ram, boar, ox, dog and snake in quick succession. Though her actions would have been complete by the time her opponent pulls the trigger, her body would remain seemingly in place right up until his bullet tears through the rooftop, at which point his opponent would seemingly vanish.

Something of a mini-whirlwind envelopes the ninja, cloaking her body with the very debris of the sandstorm. Though the shrapnel was never intended to strike her, a broken plank from the rooftop rises as scapegoat for the ninja. Done within an instant, it would appear as if the ninja simply turned into the plank. Naturally, that couldn't be further from the truth, but such is the trickery of ninjutsu. It is Kawarimi no Jutsu - The Substitution Technique.

In the confusion of the gunfire and her technique, the ninja escapes by retreating behind the building. From this location, it is impossible for her to decipher how unnecessary her actions had been, as she wouldn't have stuck around long enough to see if the shrapnel lodged itself within her decoy, but it was still an educational experience. The weapon in her opponent's hand is no ordinary gun, as it fired projectiles faster than the speed of sound. She would have to be careful if she expected to live beyond this battle; she is swift, not bulletproof. Attacking him head on would be suicide, and that's based off his gun alone.

Based on this knowledge, she stays within hiding, but cycles through another set of seals, this time the ram, snake and tiger, in order to mold her chakra into another ninjutsu. Nigh-instantly, a second copy of the ninja appears beside her, visually identical in every way. This is Bunshin no Jutsu - The Clone Technique.

The ninja and its clone give each other a quick nod of acknowledgement before the clone exits their shared cover, coming around the right side of the saloon. Armed with a kunai (which was stored within the sash, sorry for not mentioning weapons earlier) tied to the rope that was wrapped around the cloth around the ninja's forearm, the ninja rushes at toward the gunman at an alarming pace, swinging the roped kunai overhead like a wrangling cowboy.

Once within two yards of the gunman, the ninja tosses the kunai forth, looking to pierce Amumu somewhere amongst his midsection. If successful, it can reasonably be assumed that after being impaled, the ninja will reel his wounded body forth to continue the beatdown at close quarters.

Amumu

Truth bowed it's sleepy head, the custom Dan Wesson PPC revolver constructed solely by Amumu's own hands. A black metal unknown to modern society the firearm called out to the reaper, its bold and simple look capturing a perfect image of its purpose. The modified caliber leading to an adjusted loader, swing out cylinder loading system over the top break, as well as a wheel to support the mere 3 bullet chamber wheel that housed the .60 caliber rounds. Truth was a beautiful revolver as black as the shadows of night, designed for functionality and longevity this revolver was not stranger to punishment despite it's polished shine.

A heavy firearm due to the sturdiness of its construct, Amumu allowed the weapon to fall to his side as it became apparent his target had been quick to drop out of sight. Which presented the gunslinger with a sense of confidence, in which he appeared to have the upper hand.
Which made him all the more curious when the ninja revealed herself do eagerly and blatantly. With the eyes like a eagle, the gunslinger locked in on details and analyzed.
Breaking site then emerging with no attempt to deceive was anything but a ninja's methods, not to method the rather stupid method of a head on approach. All evidence was pointing to an illusion or cloning technique, a rather common and overused trick to say the least...
The kunai was little threat with the method of assault being an overhead swing, the options of attack where rather limited, and easy to predict.Dumb ninja or mere clone he would handle this threat with simple, clean, and effectively straight forward tactics.

His robes fell limb as the gunslinger dropped into a lower stance the loose fabrics catching the air and remaining weightless in the moment his performance came to fluctuation. His firearm rising from his side, like a snake lifting it head and reeling back for its strike. Truth moved without rush, but acted with no hesitation as perfectly controlled movements used the nosed of the weapon to strike the kunai of course and breaking its forward momentum in the process. As the kunai trailed by to the left of the gunslinger, he stepped into a quick rightward side step as his weapon came to take aim. Right arm fully extended, the ninja's momentum carrying her forward she would have no place to go, altering direction would be difficult and dodge nearly impossible. Amumu had considered this a perfect shot, giving the travel time of a bullet and the speed in which the eyes could even register a the shot, left nothing for the ninja to work with.
His bandaged fingered curled in and pressed down on the trigger, the revolver kicking back as the round spiraled down the threads of the barrel discharging a tank shredding round the center of the forehead of its target [If not dodged of course]. Of course, hit or miss the bullet would not stop there, but travel into the building behind, the old saloon. Ripping through the old wood and coming out the other side of the building that the ninja had dropped behind moments before.

Amumu's cloaked head swung from side to side, opening his range of vision for any additional strikes from any incoming directions. He wasn't about to let the little ninja come around behind him.

He drew his arm back, his finger resting on the trigger, mentally prepared for the ninja to make an unpleasant surprise visit. The weight of his weapon was eerily light, he had spent 2 of the 3 rounds in the chamber. One bullet remained, what a disturbing thought...so why did it bring him such a sense of cheer. Perhaps it was the thrill of the chase, the sight of a possible challenge at his doorstep, after all it had been several years since any single man or woman had required him to fire the 3rd round. Maybe their was more to this ninja then the others that fell before him.

The dust was settling as the winds died down to more of a heavy breeze then a storm, and with sight clearing up one could easily begin to see the reason of the weight behind the cloak that rested on the gunslingers shoulders. Full moon .60 caliber quick loaders swung from small hooks on the inner lining of his garbs. A great deal of weight in ammunition would explain his deep footprints in the dry dirt and the noticeable lack of desire to move. Hoping Amumu would run low on shots was dream that would never come to true, he was a walking armory.

Revolver: Truth, One shot is all it takes

Cade The Imperfect

Amumu had every reason to expect an illusion or clone, for the doppleganger rushing toward him is both, a visual decoy lacking solid substance. In all honesty, the doppleganger was of even lesser threat than the blowing winds. Even if it did come into contact with Amumu, it would vanish into thin air the moment this happened. Of course, the goal is to successfully get him to believe that this clone is real, so there would have to be a bit of trickery involved in order to keep the illusion up.

The problem arose when the bounty hunter decided to use his gun to deflect the oncoming kunai. The kunoichi had expected him to dodge or merely start shooting before the kunai ever got close, so going for the block instead wasn't exactly planned for. Nevertheless, it wouldn't be impossible to work with; it just required a bit of prestidigitation - something ninja could manage as well as any magician. Timing the action with the motions of his block, the clone slacks on her grip of the rope and tosses the kunai aside in correspondence to the trajectory of his block. To even trained eyes, it would seem as though the weapon was actually knocked aside by the revolver but the illusion isn't perfect. Under the loud blowing of the wind, one may notice that there was no sound made when the objects were meant to collide. It would be as if the gun simply passed through air instead of knocking into the kunai. Still, Amumu seemed to be a very visual guy. Perhaps under all the confusion, he would be too convinced by the kunai trailing off to the side to realize that he was dealing with an illusion all along.

        _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

((The following information is only applicable if Amumu fell for the illusion. If not, feel free to ignore all blocked off text.))

If all went well, then Amumu would remain unaware of his predicament and decide to waste a round on the clone, at which point the ninja girl's true attack would begin to reveal itself. The clone, having been carried forth by its false momentum, would easily catch the slug from his revolver - but upon doing so, instead of falling over into a bloody corpse, the clone simply dissolves into a cloud of wafting smoke. The smoke wouldn't remain on the field for long, probably about a second or two, before the wind would carry it away. It isn't functional enough to provide a decent smokescreen, but it would raise suspicion, perhaps even panic, within the bounty hunter; something easily evidenced by the way he swivels his head back and forth in search of his opponent.

        BIG MISTAKE

During the illusory fray with the clone, the ninja's true self had whipped up another ninjutsu - Henge no Jutsu - The Transformation Technique. Moving along the ground as a tumbleweed, she would pass for a simple piece of the scenery and manage to get upon her opponent undetected. His eye trained on the clone, he would not even have had the chance to realize the situation he was in until it was too late. It is a deceptive form of doom, but doom nonetheless.

She uses the split second between her clone being dispersed and Amumu's scan of his surroundings to disperse her clone technique, becoming a full-bodied ninja once more, and rush her distracted opponent. Her speed will prove to be sufficient, her strong legs easily carrying her across the distance as she utilizes the first practice of her Kaze Kikku Stance - Chase Wind and Catch Shadow! Like before, her steps are quick and silent, and by the time he may be able to hear her clothes flapping in the wind, she would already be upon him.

Because he didn't think to draw his arm back prior to checking his surroundings (it's stated afterward, so I'm milking the s**t out of it), his arm would still be fully extended when the ninja decides to confront him. This may seem as if it's disadvantageous to the ninja, but due to the long barrel of his weapon, it wouldn't take much more than a swift slap to the nose to knock the sights of his firearm off her body; and her hand speed is fast, pimp hand - strong! Considering how he was busy looking around at the time, and her approach was silent, there should have been no way for him to see this coming, and if all went well, he would find that she wasn't merely slapping his gun away from her body, but rather redirecting the gun.

Controlling the weapon directly after her hand makes contact with it, she forces the weapon down toward his hip, barrel pointed in such a way that if he were to even think to pull the trigger, he'd blow his d**k off. This is made possible because she will have redirected the angle of his wrist, turning the weapon more horizontal than vertical so that he's pointing at himself rather than at her. He may think to break away, but will find that her grip is strong. As a practitioner of the Kumo Shou no Jutsu - The Cloud Palm Technique, her hands are deadly. Though he would get to learn this firsthand soon enough. . .

Immediately after redirecting his grip, her free hand rises to deliver two consecutive palm strikes to his face with an upward motion. Her goal is simple, break his nose. Once again, due to the close proximity of the fighters, escaping wouldn't be likely. God willing, he will receive the two concussive blows to the face and end up with a horribly mangled nose in the process.

Still, things didn't stop there. Apprehended and wounded, she would then move her free hand down and under his weapon. The hand under his weapon would coil its fingers around the hammer of the weapon, enclosing its grip to secure its grasp on the pretty little toy. Two hands on the gun now, she twists the weapon back an up, looking to flip it out of his possession for good. Of course, this action wouldn't rely solely on her power to get him to relinquish the gun, though. His make of weapon possesses a grip, as most guns usually do. He'd find that by her flipping the weapon back, the grip of the gun would actually impede with the location of his finger. If he is stubborn, and chooses to hold on to his gun as this action is taking place, then his trigger finger will inevitably be broken - making any firearm in that hand relatively useless.

Beaten and disarmed, the ninja aims the powerful directly at his neck, holding the gun like a cop, bracing the wrist with her opposite hand to prepare herself for any recoil and steady her aim. Unbeknown to Amumu, she would also be focusing chakra to her hands at this moment too, just in case the gun has any safety features that are meant to harm the hands of anyone that may steal it.

        "Freeze."
Surely Amumu knew the threat of his own weapon. It fired faster than the speed of sound and left gaping holes in the saloon in the background. She could easily take his life if she chose to, and would not hesitate to do so if his actions or words hinted at anything other than his surrender.

        _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

((Now, considering how the blocked off section would inevitably spell your defeat if you go along with it; this is the alternative that would take place if you feel your character would have realized the clone was an illusion.))

If Amumu's senses proved keen, and the lack of sound caused him to raise a brow of suspicion, then the ninja's original plan would now be null and void. Instead of rushing to disarm him like she had planned to do had he been quick to shoot, her assault would come from behind - in the form of a block of wood equipped with an explosive tag.

So the moment Amumu begins looking around, he'd find that he had about a second to move out of the way, lest he get caught in the explosion. Regardless of if he dodges or not, the tag would go off shortly after having been revealed, as it is charged with the ninja's own chakra and can be detonated at any time by her will alone. She wouldn't be too far off either, about three yards away, crouched low to the down and forming the seal of the snake with her hands.

        KABOOM!

It wasn't as fast as his revolver, but equally as loud and destructive. If he is to be caught in the blast, he can expect to receive a concussive blast and some fire damage. Rather or not he is armored beneath that cloak has yet to be seen, but even if he is he can expect to be knocked aside by the blast. The usual effects of disorientation and deafness that tend to accompany loud, explosive blasts may also be present as well.

((Alright, there it is. Pick your poison.))

Amumu

--------------

[[This is why i love profile free fights, leaves so much to be a surprise. I hate when character respond of information they "really" shouldn't have because the role player knows it. I prefer when people play like their character rather than a puppet master, and this is the best way to secure that. I'll go with response to "A", enjoy razz ]]((Hint: That wouldn't defeat Amumu O_O, I'm sure yummy knows why XD))

---------------------

It would forever be a mystery what ran through Amumu's mind when his magnum revolver came in "contact" with the kunai, but it was clear at that moment the curtain on the charade was up. If the ninja thought she could fool a trained gunman with the actions of her clone she was a fool. How could he overlook the lack of vibration through the metals when the weapon's collided or the poor tactics being displayed of the supposed ninja. It almost sickened him to his gut how poorly executed this all was, he had expected more.
His gun raised, and the second last round in his arm arm discharged from a hot barrel, hollowing through the air and piercing the skull of the clone. He had to play along with this gag, appearances were everything. But behind the violent distortions of the explosion of gunpowder he spoke between a distasteful grunt.
The smoke formed by the ninja's poof barely served as smokescreen at best and wouldn't manage to stop Amumu from scanning the environment with his keen eyesight. It was brief and hard to catch, but the hunter's eye wouldn't miss a object moving across his peripheral vision. She intended to cut the distance that much was clear in Amumu's mind, her first move logically to disable his firearm. He smirked behind the scarf as he realized his arm was still full extended, he had played into her game hadn't he?

"Clever girl"

As the ninja's fingers gripped Truth, his suspicions of her intent was confirmed, and even as he redirected the barrel of the magnum revolver Amumu had no sense of fear. By this point the young girl would start to notice even her well thought out plans had critical errors and her mind and body would suddenly being to feel ever growing fatigue. it was bound to become apparent to the ninja rather quickly, but at this point it was too late..she had to remain committed.
One could probably hear the low rumble that was Amumu chucking behind his scarf as the girl's mind would be piecing together the puzzle of where this sense of fatigue came from. Maybe even taking a brief second glance down at the firearm before completely figuring it out. Truth even when its head bowed to the will of the ninja was still a growling pup nipping at the hand, or honest the soul. A weapon designed to take lives, the Magnum Revolver Amumu held was crafted to consume the soul of his target. A rare and special metal that was capable of even transferring its "curse" into the discharged rounds. This was the power of first of Amunu's Anubis Collection: Jackal Revolvers, a pair of revolvers that served as his companions in battle. Piercing through the heavy cloaks, rattling the moon quick loaders, the barrel of the second custom firearm came into view as it came to rest against the chest of the ninja whom hand travelled up towards Amumu's face.
One could call this situation a stale mate, but that would be an untrue statement. Facing the facts, the ninja would need to completely pull back from striking Amumu's face to even have a chance of preventing the bullet from piercing her chest. Considering the awkward situation the ninja should consider herself lucky, she was one of the very few that ever had the pleasure of witnessing both Amumu's firearms, Truth and Heart. Named after the "Guardian of the Scales", Anubis, their represented the two sides of the scale in which a life is weighed upon. Cursed weapon that carried the ability to drain souls from a living soul and carry them to the underworld (Truth), and sensing a spiritual presence and pressure to reveal it to the wielder (Heart). Powers granted by being crafted of the melted down metals of the Anubis' very staff, and as such, Amumu had become the judge of the living and the damned.
Amumu 's finger ran along the curled trigger of Heart, as if waiting for the ninja's response. Almost as if he was allowing for her to break off from her assault and retreat. Otherwise he appeared quite accepting of taking a strike to the face before pulling the trigger. One had to consider, as long as the girl tried to disable Truth, the drain on her soul would only increase and threaten to take her all together.
But Amumu had one more trick up his sleeve [literally], one yet to be revealed.

[[Normally, i'm not a big fan of interrupts, but this is how Amumu is D :]]((Loves his shot for shots and testing the fate of a coin flip))

Cade The Imperfect

So, Amumu had a trump card. Good. Things would be no fun if he went down so quickly early on in the match. Not only did his gun carry a curse, but he would then reveal a second weapon from beneath his cloak. Perhaps the girl did fall into his trap, but then again, he's also now revealed his full deck (or at least the majority of it). The actions that would play out amongst the two would be as so:

Feeling the soul-draining curse of his gun would not worry the ninja as much as he might expect. Ninja by profession could almost be considered agents of death; they deliver it, abide by it. However, fear it, they do not. They go into battle knowing that each fight may be their last, and as such, they have become quite accustomed to cheating death. So even now, as death attempted to drag her soul from her living body with its icy grasp, it would be hindered by her will to live; Koori Omoi Iyoku - The Ice Heart Will, a passive technique within the ninjas repertoire, aiding her staying power and contesting the curse. You see, aside from her fighting skill and ninjutsu, the ninja constantly utilized a breathing exercise known as the Koori Omoi Taitoku - The Ice Heart Knack. The Taitoku helps its user reserve its stamina in battle by keeping the user from becoming winded; it also has the added attribute of keeping the ninja's mind focused and clear, impairing it to the effects of fear in battle. One could say that the Ice Heart techniques are skills that turn ninja into cold-hearted killers that carry out their missions without a second thought. Things like killing a child or entering a blazing building no longer concern a ninja using the Koori Omoi skillset. The Iyoku is an upgrade to the Taitoku. Keeping all the perks of the Taitoku intact, the Iyoku adds a layer of durability on top of that. A ninja using the Iyoku could suffer injuries and continue fighting so long as its head is intact. Originally thought to soothe pain, Sima would now learn that it also increases her overall willpower. The threat of Amumu's Truth. . .is no more severe than it had been earlier.

The introduction of another gun, Heart, posed a problem though. As she was going in for the strike to his face, Amumu decided to reveal the weapon, pressing it to her bosom to interrupt her actions. This should have been the end for the girl but for whatever reason, Amumu didn't immediately pull the trigger. Sima would not do any soul searching or pondering upon this action he took, but instead decides to break away, releasing her hold on his gun and withdrawing the arm she was going to attack with while spinning to the side of his body he held Truth on. While spinning, she maneuvers herself behind her opponent. After all, assuming that the fight would continue from there, then positioning herself ahead of him is a bad idea, since it would be easier for him to aim his weapons upon her at that point. If she was successful in getting behind him, she would attempt to tag his back with an explosive tag. Seeing as how he didn't appear to have eyes in the back of his head, and he's covered in a cloak, he may not notice the tag applied to his back and just consider her strike as a form of goading. Regardless of whether it's noticed or not, her chakra courses through the tag, and could be denoted remotely at any moment when she makes the call.

If all went well, she would then keep a close distance from Amumu, circle-straffing. The old strategy of hiding and attacking in secret is out the window now. She would confront him head on, flank him with explosive tags and shuriken, and try to create openings for attack. His guns could only hold so much ammo and his curse seemed to only work in close range. She could dance around him for a while, divert his attention from the charge on his back before finally snapping the trap.

Amumu

Chapter 1: Sima Vs The Reveal

The air was filled with dry dirt, soot and unsettled dust casting out the sun and hiding both the combatants within. A result of a devastating blast that had shattered glass of all the buildings in the town square, and emitted a violent ringing to the ears that threatened permanent deafness. For several long silence moments, the sun light as absent, unable to pierce the cloud that was casted over the pair. In this moment of dull grays and browns only a few lights dare to illuminate, two fiery eyes opened wide the heat of their stare catching the air ablaze as they stared deep into the cloud at the ninja.
The dust begun to settling, the sun light breaking through the dirt screen to reveal the long scarf of the bounty hunter falling to his feet with the settling soot and revealing his face. His low, gravelly voice calling out to the ninja, "Well aren't you just a Treasure. Was worried I lost you".

-------- [Moments Before]-------

It was almost beautiful in how masterfully Amumu had got the ninja to play to his script, fulfilling her role perfectly nearly each step of the way. Not quite a puppet master, he left more like the voice on the shoulder making soft suggestions. It had all started with the original reveal of his magnum revolver Truth, a small suggestion that he intend to keep his foe at range. Followed by knowingly leaving his arm full extended to make give the suggestion to disarm him. These were all purposeful bread crumbs to bait the ninja into close quarter combat, and it worked perfectly. Making her act hastily she lacked to notice his left hand's lack of presence, and because of it put her life solely in his hands.

Amumu would not pull the trigger however, but this was not a sympathetic action or a grace from the man. No, he simply saw this as an opportunity to proclaim a dominance without bringing an end to his fun. The score was 1 to 0, and the numbers favored him 100%. Now with the Jackal Revolvers in hand, Amumu was ready to start this fight, the dice had been tossed, and both their lives rested in this single gamble.

--------------

With his face heavily wrapped in the long scarfs, it was not hard for the ninja nimble figure to move into his blind spot. Making her way to his back and pressing a tag against the makeshift cloak, unknowingly being watched by the powers travelling through her body. The souls presence feeding the body, and lining muscles and blood, allowed Heart to grant sight to the blind. Allowing him to remain aware of the ninja's trickery ways even without direct line of sight, she was a troublesome little bird to say the least.

His right hand spilled within his cloak, holstering Truth then quickly loosening the straps on the inner lining of the cloak. Knowing full well he only had the few moments in which the ninja remained within the blast radius to act, he didn't hesitate to consider saving any of the ammunition as the cloak began to slip from his shoulders. Fingers taking hold of the heavy cloak, the bounty hunter threw the cloak away from himself and towards the ninja. Pivoting on his left foot, the gunslinger spun 180 degrees and brought the cross hairs of Heart in line with the cloak and pulling the trigger.

Just casting the die, i do love a gamble..

Even if the ninja didn't trigger her explosive tag, the cloak and all the ammunition that lined the inner fabric would erupted in a unpredictable blast that would be not unlike a giant shrapnel grenade. Steel, silver, iron, and heat filled the air and rained down upon the dry earth, a violent on-chore of sound that ripped at the ear drums not much different then how shrapnel tears apart the skin. Amumu had taken quite a risk, putting himself in the blast radius simply to allow himself to get the ninja, catching while she was still close. Even with her incredible speed and reflexes there was no outrunning the blast.

---------------

"Was worried I lost you" Amumu said with something of a demonic chuckle as his right hand reached into the pockets of his tattered blue jeans. Retrieving a lone bent cigarette and lighter, the bandaged hands raised the cig to soot covered face of the bounty hunter...if you could call it that. With the scarf removed and the dust settled, one could finally see what was hidden behind the mask, a face completely wrapped up in white bandage dressings leaving no opening for even his eyes or mouth. Pushing the cigarette between the tightly wound bandages, he raised the lighter and took a long drag from the cancer stick. Both hands sliding into his pockets, the man stood tall and oddly relaxed in plain sight of the ninja.

The bandages that covered his face and hands, traveled across his entire visible body, suggesting his entire body had the treatment. Aside from the wrappings, Amumu's true appearance was rather lacking and unimpressive. His blue tattered jeans and his leather biking vest were nothing special, nor were the holsters under each of his arms that housed the two custom revolvers. As he exhaled, smoke left through the bandages were one could only assume his nose would be, "Need something to calm the nerves?" he asked as he picked the cig from his mouth and extended it towards the ninja.

Amumu's mind was a sadist one, he had little care for anyone, including himself. And he would put his body through hell without a second guess to gain any advantage in a fight. But his last dice roll didn't leave him without a mark to remember it by. Despite his lack of physical pain response, he had several pierces of shrapnel from the blast puncturing the left side of his body. Cutting into the bandages the shrapnel would be digging into the skin beneath, so it was strange that the man stood without any response at all. it raised the question if he had sever nerve damage, and all what kind of hell had his body gone through that he felt the need to hide it behind bandages?

His smoke had built a great deal of ash, heavy enough to fall from the tip without his assistance. Picking it from his bandages and dropping it be smothered under foot, Amumu declared the smoke break complete as he drew both his his revolvers from their holsters. His right hand gripped Truth, and his left held Heart.

(( lol Okay, so you risk layer of concealment and spare ammunition in order to produce your own turnaround. I can dig it. At work now, but getting off soon so I'll have a response up shortly. ))

[[Yeah, Amumu's appearance brings alot of attention to himself (no surprise), no is wears a cloak to allow him to make his way through cities and towns. But in order to allow mobility, its best to drop the extra weight! Plus dramatic explosions that leave even your own character with metal fragment in his left side are badass *puts on shades*]]
