Ozora opened up the door and spun Vera in. Once the door was closed he let her hand free and walked to the kitchen. "Want some tea?" He asked pushing a button on an electric kettle. He then sat down on the couch and offered her a seat next to him. "Any and all questions you have I will answer." He told the girl. He would answer anything she wanted to know.

Vera took a dancing step or two into the apartment, eyes looking around at everything as Gyer came off her shoulder and looked around too, as if suspicious for trapdoors or something. Pushing a button in the kitchen she stuck her hear around to peek in, Baihu sat on the couch and patted the cushion. Standing for a moment, feeling awkward, Vera sighed and plopped down...carefully...next to Baihu to lean against him a bit, thinking. "Tea sounds wonderful; first question. What do you have?" she asked with a grin. "Second question; any specific race or preference for your kids' mothers? How far apart are they, aside from centuries older than me? Did you end up only having sons? What's your favorite color, climate, flavor, and idea of a peaceful or romantic night?" she started, popping off a few other random things she could think of like favorite junk food, favorite healthy food, if he was a sport what would it be...if he was a gem what would it be, what was his favorite constellation, what was his zodiac sign...WAS he a tiger on the Chinese zodiac, and he could turn into a tiger right? How big was his tiger form?

That was a lot for one person to answer all at once and she took in a breath. "Well let's see first I have any type of tea you can think of." He answered. He loved his tea and if he named it he probably had it. "I don't really care what race a person is as long as they aren't crazy." The man answered. "I know of six children. Four sons and two daughters." He had to think about who was first. "Chen is my eldest and he is traditional. His mother is Shizuka of the South. Don't tell your dad that. Fu is my second child and she is demanding and traditional. Her mother is a mermaid. Young is my third he is part human and only appears here and there when he is needed.Xuan is four. He is adventurous and a good swordsman. He's loyal and will protect those that are important to him with his life. Mai is my fifth child. She's half heavenly nymph and a bit of a beauty. Jun is my youngest. His four hundred years old I think. He's part cat demon." He answered about his children. "My favorite colors are black, white, and orange. I like snow, cherry flavoring and my idea of a peaceful night is a feeling of peace, romantic would be just cuddling with my partner. Nothing fancy." He answered the first part. "Favorite food is steak, junk food is pocky, and healthy would have to be rice. Sport would be archery, Tigers eye for gem, Orion for constellation, not the tiger in the zodiac, I don't know my sign. The tiger in the zodiac is Chen." He answered her questions.

Vera tried to think of the various teas she had wanted to try throughout her life, and shook her head slowly as she listened, laughing at his answers. "I suppose I should have thought of that one..." the half-elf commented with a small smile at the gem answer. "I'm used to mint, in the little bags, though if you had loose leaf that would be...heavenly," she commented with a wistful sigh. "Mountain mint's the best, the thinner air makes such a nice light crisp flavor...hm. You didn't answer my last two questions..." Vera commented idly, relaxing and comfortable to poke Baihu a couple of times with her short manicured nail. "I am assuming you can transform into a tiger, but how big? As a Guardian I would imagine you're larger than normal ones, but also then how would you get to have fun as a four-legged being? Everyone would freak out. So how big is your tiger form?" she asked again. "I'm sure any child of yours is a lovely one. Tigers are such beautiful animals..." Vera commented, fingertips pressed together in thought as she thought about her mountain lion friend and family Ryuu. "Oh! Are you a white tiger or an orange tiger?" she asked with a small grin, her eyes lighting up as she absently brought her legs onto the couch to curl up, before remembering she wasn't at home and so you should never put your feet on other peoples' furniture. "So Chen is the tiger mentioned in the Chinese Zodiac? That raises the interesting question of how true the legends are of the Zodiac animals being chosen. Winter's one of my favorites too, and figures; Orion the Hunter. Even though technically Sagittarius is the archer, everyone recognizes Orion by his belt or his bow..." Closing her eyes, she tilted her head to rest under his chin though she wasn't quite snuggled with him. "So, for you, what makes things peaceful? Other than snuggling with your partner on winter nights...oh, what scents do you like, and what kinds of music?"

Ozora smiled and wrapped his arm around her and cuddled with her. "I can be bigger than trees or as small as a new born cub. I used to turn into a cub to pick up women. That's how I got Mai's mother to notice me." He told her. It didn't matter to him who his past women were nothing to the one who he had now. "I love cuddling on cold nights with a cute girl." He told her pushing her hair back. "I think nice cold days the wind blows through a window is nice. It goes double with a citrus smell." Telling her the answered. "I prefer music were their is no singing. Like classical from both the western and the eastern worlds. I also like operas."

Vera scrunched her nose in a slightly disgusted expression as she let herself be pulled over closer to him. "Opera? That's practically ALL singing. And they don't even try to make the words sound nice..." she commented with a small uncaring snort. As he pulled her hair away from where it had fallen into her face, she leaned back to look at him with a small smile. "What about being an orange tiger or a white tiger? I would think being white would be more fun; could hide a lot easier in the snow. Even if you've been around the world a dozen times, maybe I can show you where I grew up. We had LOTS of snow then, but the inner caves always stayed warm since we had a cavern open to a lava lake. Once I learned I was immune to fire...oddly enough the hard way, go figure...it was fun to swim in as long as I stayed by the edges and didn't stay in there too long. Hnhhh, that would make it more like a dip-and-drip or something...rush in, take a dip and drip all over when you come back out..." Vera commented. Yawning, she stretched and hesitantly put her hands on top of his. "Enh, I'm tired..." she stated unnecessarily. "Either I can try to stay awake here, or I need to pass out in my bed..."

Ozora moved his arms and picked her up and moved her towards the back room. "If you're sleepy you can stay here. My bed is big enough." The man said. Once in the back room he kicked the door closed and set Vera on one side of the bed before removing her shoes so she was comfortable. He then did the same and got on the other side of the bed. The room smelled of oranges and it was relaxing. Once on the bed he pulled Vera towards him and it wasn't long till the girl was in his arms.

"What, um, hey...urgh...." Vera protested slightly, interrupted by a yawn after which she just went urgh and was picked up by Ozora...Baihu. Gyer came in and lay between them, grumbling as Baihu pulled her over to him, her eyes already half-closed. Relaxing despite herself, she curled up almost like a cat in his arms, hand clasped over her ring on her hand over the pendent of her necklace, the dragon coming out to protect her treasures even in her sleep.

Baihu opened his eyes. How long had he been asleep. He turned a bit to see his clock. It had been almost eight hours. The man drew back and gave Vera kiss on the forehead before walking to the kitchen. He was thinking of having her met her children that came with marrying him. He also wondered when they should get married. There was no rule book to these kinds of things. He wanted just to get it over with.

Curled up on her side, Vera woke up slowly in the unfamiliar bed. Suddenly jerking up, eyes wide and not-quite-all-that-awake yet, she shook her head quickly and the jerky motions woke her up slightly. "Gnyeh..." she muttered, rubbing at her eyes. Looking around, she noticed a few different pieces he had used to decorate his room, and smiled at the dark colors and tones accented with brighter highlights and items. "Nice..." she murmured, smelling something. Sniffing, she followed the smells to the kitchen, footsteps soft and silent. Hesitantly, she wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug before backing off a bit, still unsure but dealing with it. "Sorry for passing out like that...must have been the oranges..." she apologized sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head with a small embarrassed smile.

Baihu was surprised when he got a hug from behind why he was working on the sausage. His breakfast was a bit between an Asian and European meal with rice and sausage. He put the fork, that he was using to move the food around, down and turned do they were face to face with each other and hugging. She was against his junk and he tried to do his best to keep his cool. "It's fine. Now I know how to knock you out when we're married." He joked to her. He leaned in and kissed her lips. "So I was wondering when we should get married and when you should met your new kids."

Startled but not completely surprised as she was pressed close against him again, this time to his front as he teased her, Vera ignored his hard body as she was kissed. Bahu might feel her second set up upper canines for a moment as he kissed her. Kissing back a bit, her lips would feel warmer the longer they touched, before they separated. "Um, I would think any child I have I would be closely associated with from the start..." she commented back with a roll of her eyes, before shaking her head with a small smile. "I knew what you meant. Hm, up to you time and place. Let's see JUST how well we work together for a month or two, first? For all we know, we will hate each others' moody moments or whatever, if you have one..." In his arms, she snuggled up to him a bit again as she turned to face the same direction he was, Gyer popping up from her shoulder to glare at him. "For a wedding, I am thinking winter, at the base of the mountain where we grew up. I think there are still some ruins standing there, and I DO know there's a nearby node across a couple of ley lines, so anyone non human we wanted to invite would be more comfortable. You say you like winter, so I was thinking snow would make a nice backdrop... I don't know, I wouldn't mind hearing what you would like. I don't intend to make it ALL for me, even though it's a step up in pretty much anyone's eyes, and I know women are normally more for the marriage thing..." Making a face, Vera tilted her head back up at him. "So, what would you like?" she asked seriously, blinking her silver-blue eyes.

Baihu smiled at his bride. She seemed to have a good idea. "Nah. I think that sounds fine." He told her with a smile. "I can't wait to see my glowing white bride in glowing white snow." He told her. "Or do you want to do a mix between Chinese and western traditions?" A wedding dress in China was red for luck. "As for the kids we can meet them today. I just have to yell for them."

"I like the idea of a mix. I can just imagine someone trying to figure out how to make a kimono lacy," Vera nodded with a small smile and a laugh. "Oh...well, whenever you find it best works. Although, I would think a neutral area best..." she commented, putting a finger to her hand in thought. Vera's face was still, seeming to age as she put on her 'adult' demeanor while she thought about the meeting like a battle, trying to strategise. Then she sighed. "How the hell am I supposed to be seen as an authority figure when I'm so much younger?" Vera commented with a sourly ironic expression. "I guess child brides always had this problem, but sheesh. I know I'm going to want to mother them or something seeing it as a "duty" but I guess we wouldn't really see them much, would we, if they're as varied as you say... Hm." Rubbing her head again, she looked at the ceiling with a smile of amusement at herself. "I'm reading too much into this whole thing, I guess, since it was only a bet... sweatdrop " she commented, shaking her head. Vera turned to Baihu with a small smile. "I will try to be a good wife, and when necessary a decent mother..." she promised with a firm nod.
