Growth Rate
Island - 3 Days. Random Roll of 1 - 7 [Roll of 7 results in Death of Plant.]
Forest - 5 Days. Random Roll of 1 - 9 [Roll of 7+ results in Death of Plant.]
Crater - 7 Days. Random Roll of 1 - 14 [Roll of 7+ results in Death of Plant.]
Watering
Students will be able to Water their Berry Plant(s) Once-per-day during their Berry Growth Cycle. By doing so they will effectively decrease the odds of their Berry Plant dying at the end of the cycle.
For example. If you water on the Island 1 day, you will nullify the odds of the plant dying. If you only water 4 days in the Crater, your odds will go from 1 - 14, to 1 - 10
Events
At the end of your Berry's Growth Cycle, you will be required to roll 1 D20. This may or may not trigger a special "Berry Event" which can either aid or hinder your Plant. Examples of what may happen is the increase of your Berry Count when harvesting, odds of your Plant living or dying, as well as a number of quirkier events.
An additional Event at the beginning of your Berry's Growth Cycle may be obtained by slathering it with the item Honey.
Berry Harversting
At the end of your Berry's Growth Cycle [3 on the Island. 5 in the Forest. 7 in the Crater] it is time to Harvest the fruit of your labour. After you've done your Event Roll and confirmed whether or not anything has affected your Plant, you will be able to required to Generate a Random Number. The Number will be affected by your Land [1-7 on Island. 1 - 9 in Forest. 1 -14 in Crater], minus how many times the plant has been watered during it's Growth Cycle.
If you roll a 7 or more, the Plant will die and bare no fruit, leaving you with nothing. A roll bellow that will leave you with a number of new Berries equal to the number rolled up to 5. This means if you roll a 1 you will receive only 1 Berry. If you rolled a 4 you will receive 4 Berries. You may obtain a maximum of 5 Berries. If you roll a 6 you will receive 5 Berries + your Berry Plant will drop a seed, causing a new Berry Plant to grow.
In the event that your Berry Plant has not died, it will restart it's Growth Cycle as soon as it has been Harvested. All Berries harvested from bushes will remain on the land until eaten by a Pokemon, or otherwise removed or planted by the Student whom owns the Land.
Only a Trainer/Student may Plant a Berry.
