Oz brought up the topic and I thought it might be a good idea to address it. SweetHotChocolate and I thought hard about this and we kind of came up with a lame way to get class in session...
Just have your teacher character start lecturing in a classroom and hope a student RPer comes in and sits through it. =w=" We sadly can't think of any other way to get class in session. We might have instances where other people in a different part of the academy is on lunch break while class is in session somewhere else. Well, I'd like to avoid that, but sadly to say it's difficult to do that with so many places.
If anyone else has a better idea, then it would be awesome if you could share it with us.

We could always just decide that the bell will ring in the next round of posting. So that whomever is posting next can just include in their post, that the bell rang, and all teachers can head to their classes (or start there), and wait for students to file in.
Then people can just decide which class they want to send their students to?
I dunno. That came out sounding more complicated than it was in my head.

We could have weekdays as each period and the weekends as an after school session for students to roam around as they pleased. Each student would have their own schedule to follow.
Hm, not too sure but I'm looking forward to see other members' ideas.

I like that idea, but there needs to be breaks every now and then for the teachers to mingle with each other as well. I

We could put up a topic that will say if class is in session or not. Everyone just needs to check if that topic has been updated while they roleplay to check on time.

Gah. Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant more for this particular class session we could just announce to everyone in the guild that the bell is ringing. After that announcement, the next person to post in each existing scene would mention as part of their post "And so-and-so heard the bell ring." So that all non-class scenes could end, and students could depart for their classes. Basically--it's kind of an immediate solution, if people are needing to get class started? And then a formal schedule could happen later.
For an ongoing sort of schedule, I think it might be good to have it set to certain days of the week as Class RP days, and certain days of the week as non class days.
Maybe something more like--every other day is class and the days in between are free periods, lunch, etc. So like...
Monday- Class 1
Tuesday- Break
Wednesday- Class 2
Thursday - lunch
Friday- Class 3
Weekend-Weekend
Obviously, realistically, they'd have more classes than that but I don't think there's really a way to RP it 100% accurately since people can't be online posting in here all the time. xD
The main problem with a schedule like that, is that if people can't post more than once per day, or miss a day, they're going to be really left out. =<

That person can post it in bold or slightly larger letters to make it apparent that class is ending. =D

Well, now that I'm online, I'll take a look at all the suggestions. True, there's no perfect way to get this. As Lightning said, a poll will be posted for this after we discuss this and whoever had the most popular suggestion will be used.
If it doesn't work, we'll just change it again until we find something that works. xD
I won't set up the poll until later tomorrow so we can have everyone's suggestions. ^^

Sorry to interupt, hope this can help.. You could announce what class or subject is now in session. So everyone could post..
Or you could announce the following classes are open for the entire week..
Or.. have one class open for the entire week.. so all of us can attend.. then by next week, another subject and so on..
