You heard it right people! There will be a new Dawn of War Expansion for the PC titled "Dawn of War- Winter Assault...AND ITS COMING WITH THE IG FORCES!!! It should be awesome. Just thought i would let everyone know.
Edit:Just me, Oneechan here. Modified the title to help prevent duplicate threads.

Sweet! i hav dawn of war n wit new armies its going to be even better. hopefully they have souped up the existing armies too. i really want to see the tyranids in it.

Funny, I just posted it under the DoW thread as it was against group policy. Oh well, here are the screens that went with the press release. Lt_Brookman DAWN OF WAR: WINTER ASSAULT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!THE FIRST OFFICIAL ADD-ON FOR DAWN OF WAR IS SLATED FOR RELEASE THIS FALL. WHILE DETAILS ARE SCARCE, THE IMPERIAL GUARD WILL BE IMPLEMENTED WITH THE CADIAN SHOCK TROOPERS AND IMPERIAL SUPER HEAVY TANKS! Read the press release here!    HAHA! Imperial Guard finally gets the respect it deserves, I can't wait to pound the frag out of space marines or orks with a Baneblade!

I'm so happy to see this. I'm hoping that they'll expand the single player and make it not so short. Plus Ih ope they add some more multiplayer levels. New units for existing races would be cool but not needed. I'm a little skeptical of the IG getting their WARMACHINE playable. I mean, it's cool and all but holy crap is the Baneblade powerful on the tabletop and it's only in an imperial armory, not the actual codex. I'm sure Relic can balance it out well though, so no real complaints. shinji4kaworu Apparently the Tau and th Tyranids are also going to be be in it as well. o.o Where did you hear that? I haven't seen any news from Relic on that. Could you show me a link? That'd be awesome if they were.

Well it's in a chapter approved and Imperial Armory is more Forge World... which is Gameworkshop... well you know what I'm getting at. You are right though, I had forgotten about that.

A staff member of my local Games Workshop told me. Also, there was a rumour of the Necrons being in as well.
