The blue hyena was bored. No social contact would do that to anyone. She didn't mind alone time especially since that's what her mom did. She would leave her alone for days and say it was survival of the fittest. Her father was never in the picture and as for the males her mother would run off with she didn't care about her anymore, she was finally old enough to live own her own and she was enjoying it.
She was currently laying under the shade of a tree cleaning her paws after her evening meal. Although it wouldn't really matter soon as the sun was nearing its end. Blood still filled the air and the dead zebra carcass laying not more the three yards but she was stuffed; it was a shame to see such a meal go to waste though. She sighed continuing to lick the blood off her paw and any flesh stick in between her claws.

Lazily making his way back home across the evening landscape, Abitid growled to himself as his stomach grumbled in protest. It was hungry, and while fully capable if finding his own meal, he just wasn't in the mood. Instead he chose to become irritated with his own bodily sounds, and allow them to accompany him as he made his way home.
But as luck would have it, a familiar scent soon caught his snout, a fresh kill! Salivating at the opportunity to munch away at someone else's hard labor, Abitid rushed off in the scent's deirection. taking little to no heed in what exactly had made the kill.
As he got closer, his stomach rumbled more, his mouth drooled more, and his other senses were all lost in the fray. He didn't care much about seeing anything other than that freshly killed carcass. But, what he hadn't expected, was the female lying near it, casually cleaning her paws of the meal. Slowing himself to a near complete halt, the male collected himself, pushed back to grumbling urge in his stomach and moved forward.
If he couldn't simply steal the meal away from her - his next best choice was to woo it from her.

Harta smelt something in the air. Raising her nose to further investigate the smell. The smell was defiantly male and by the sound his paws made against the ground it was a fellow hyena. She was happy to sense someone else in the rogue land but she has yet to let her guard down. Just because he was a hyena didn't mean she could trust him.
She stood up tentatively hovering closer her fresh kill. She didn't want to waste the meat but she worked hard for the kill and she wasn't doing to let just anyone come in and take it from her. But if it had to come down to a fight she would give up she truly was in no mood for that kind of strainous work she was bloated and just wanted to be lazy.
She looked up to see the hyena in question to notice he was very.... Attractive. Well maybe she wouldn't mind sharing for something in return. She sat near the carcass continuing to groom herself nonchalantly; acting completely oblivious to his presence.

Stepping closer still, the male's eyes glanced from the carcass to the female, the back again. Attempting to keep his focus on both objects was proving to be a little difficult. But if he dared take his eyes away from one long enough to stare at the other, something might disappear! Unlikely yes, but they were in the Roguelands after all...
Clearing his throat as he got closer, Abitid attempted to pose into his most pathetic look possible. Adding a slight limp to his walk as he approached her, hoping that his guide would work in his favor.
"Excuse me.
I couldn't help but notice your fresh kill...." A slight growl ran through his stomach, and the hyena allowed it to echo through the air between them. "Seems like quite a kill for one petite young hyena like yourself. Might you be willing to share?
Abitid smiled slightly, attempting still to look as pitiful as possible. If this didn't work, then he'd result to more impressive measures but for now, this would be simple enough.

Harte looked up eyeing the male. He was even more attractive up close. "Yes this kill was a bit much, i am quite full." She felt the need to toy with him for a bit, perhaps it was because she hadn't enjoyed messing with someones head in a while, but it was cruel and dangerous to mess with a hungry hyena; good thing she liked danger.
"But i am not petite." She glared her eyes piercing at him for just a second talking it as more of an insult rather then complement which is probably what he meant. However her glare faded just as quickly as it appeared. "I might be willing to share, for a price." She said standing, beginning to circle the hyena getting better assessment of him.
"Keep me company, i am quite lonely today and could use company." She sat waiting for an answer although she was sure he would say yes by the sound of his stomach."So do we have a deal?" She smirked at him waiting for his answer.

Abitid watched with earnest as the female began circling him, fussing over the tiniest of his comments. She was a feisty one, that was for sure. He'd dealt with many a female in his day, but one that would backfire a compliment - that was a new one for him. But, that wasn't to say he wasn't up for the challenge.
"My, aren't we fire ball today? Better watch out Ma'am-" Taking a sarcastic bow before the female, Abitid continued - "You might attract some unwelcome company with that stiff attitude of yours."
Listening intently at her every word, his mouth began to water at the mention of sharing.
"A price huh? Well, I guess I could hear you out." He watched as she paced circles around him. He fully expected her to launch some kind of attack on him, but instead she simply answered his question.
"Company huh? Well, what kind of man would I be to leave you all alone on a night like this?" He smiled wickedly - "You may lady, have yourself a deal."

She felt unease about the male, it was all to familiar. But something about him reminded her about herself. "Well i invited that unwelcome company at there own risk." She chuckled well aware she could take down anyone that wanted to fight her. She was pleased to hear the male accept the deal. He certainly knew how to treat a lady.
"Well then in that case, dig in." She said pushing what was left of the carcass. She cackled pleased with her devious work, she was able to trade her leftovers that she wasn't going to eat and trick him into staying. My she was quite please.
"So what is a male like you doing out here alone?" She finally laid down and continued to finish grooming her half cleaned paws. She cared only slightly but she was trying to figure out how she could use him to her best interest.

More than overjoyed by the female's agreeable terms, Abitid joined in her chuckling, though his turned out to be more of a cackle. Laughing wasn't usually his thing, but how could he not laugh at how sweet of a deal he had walked into? Fate had definitely shone down on him today.
Watching intently as the female pushed the carcass his way, Abitid took in a quick whiff of the kill and his stomach churned slightly. But, before he ate he wanted to know a little more about this curious female. As she lay down and groomed her somewhat bloody paws, Abitid took a few steps closer and plopped down next to her watching her for any odd quirks he should be aware of. "A-hah, I think you have the question a little backwards." He grinned sarcastically before taking note of her question and getting more serious. "I live out here actually, well more like near here. I was actually just on my home when a rather attractive mix of fresh kill, and gorgeous color caught my attention." He smiled lightly and winked in her direction. "And what about you? I don't think i've ever noted even your scent around these parts. Are you passing through, or has your lovely fragrance just escaped my nose all these years?

She laughter quickly ended, what was he talking about. She said what she meant and meant what she said; She didnt like to be questioned. "Well then i supposed it my apologies." She gave a half-hearted smirk, she admired his flirtatious techniques. "I am not from around here just stopping in to relax." Harta didnt like to stay in one place for long.
"Thank you, i am quite fond of your pelt color as well." She said smiling. The male was curious, she was positive that he was hungry, he practically begged for food, maybe perhaps he was just lazy. But either way she gave him her leftovers, why hasnt he eaten. "Arent you hungry?" She asked wonderously, "This questions can wait, after all you will be keeping me company so eat enjoy." She smiled, she wasnt one for much small talk; it was pointless but she didnt want him to just run off.
