The sound of sadness would echo from one department store. Far in the back of the minipet shop, a Yeti, corrupt and alone, sat, sniffling at what could only be a zombiejox judging by the lifelessness and the foxy tentacles. Still, it was solid meaning it was alive as a zombiejox could be, and probably playing dead. The Yeti was convinced however, that he'd gone and killed it and this was now why it couldn't have nice things. The shop itself was empty of minipets and from the looks of the caged, the Yeti might have ripped them open to get the minipets and... who knows. Maybe it ate minipets. Stranger things had happened after all. Still, a sobbing Yeti in the back corner, trying to cuddle a motionless zombiejox. What was the worst that could happen?

"Oye!" the croc boil called as he stepped into the quiet shop. He looked around with a slight scowl, seeing no shop owners in sight. "Any adults in here? Shop owners? We want to talk to you!" He looked around, wondering where that sound was coming from... it sounded like sobbing... The croc boil scowled slightly and started into the shop, glancing at the animals he passed. This place... didn't seem... right, somehow...

Dev followed after the boil, occasionally looking behind to make sure Imryn was with them. Hands on her hips, she frowned as her gaze quickly swept across the shop. “Looks loch th’ place is empty. That’s a shame,” she muttered. Her ears twitched as she caught an unusual sound. “Hm?” The ghoul stood in place for a moment. It sounded like crying. Something was here, although she wasn’t quite sure what. “Ye hear ‘at?”

Imryn brought up the rear of their little group, trying to keep an eye behind them to try to make sure that nothing else snuck up from behind while keeping an eye on Dev and Boozle. Even though she'd only gotten a brief look at what all was actually in the mall, she certainly didn't want to go up against these things by herself. Every once in a while she'd bump into some shelving, but nothing major and the noise didn't seem to draw any little creepers to them... for now. "... All the pets are gone too... how did they..?" Pausing for a moment as the crying sound reached her ears as well. "Well... someone... or something... might be in here. Can't see anything just yet."

 The sounds did not go unnoticed. The Yeti in the back sniffled, letting the store go quite. people. People were there. Would they help? Would they...be friends? Show it how to get home? Flinging itself out, zombiejox on it's head, the Yeti made a pathetic face while trying to hug them and beg for help. To bad it was just sobbing. HP: 50/50

Boozle grunted with the hug, feeling something crack slightly, and shoving as hard as he could to get away. There was shouting from outside, the sounds of people running--
"Boogies," he muttered, moving to haul at the arms grabbing for the ghouls. He had to get them out so the boogies could take care of the problem. Sucked that he felt like s**t. He hauled at the arm, digging his claws into it.
Boozle's HP: 8/30 (I think?)

Imryn let out a shriek as fuzzy arms enveloped her in a hug that seemed to be intent on crushing what was left of her body. "FOR THE LOVE OF JACK GET OFF!" she yelled while pushing away from it as hard as she could, trying to fly up away from it the moment she could escape it's grasp. Not that there was much space to fly when inside a store, but anything was better than staying within arms reach of whatever this fur covered thing was that decided to come at them. Reaching up with one of her claws, Imryn made an attempt to hit it in the face... if nothing else than to startle or stun it into letting them go. Knowing that the other two had already taken damage just made her even more determined to help get them all out of there as quickly as possible. Not that is was doing much good... more like a swing and a miss. Imryn's HP: 21/30 Damage Dealt: 0

At Imryn’s mention of the pets, Dev turned to stare at the empty cages. “Yer right. Ah wonder whaur they went…?” Her expression turned thoughtful for a moment before the answer smacked her in the face—literally. A giant ball of white fur came out and attempted to…hug them? The ghoul was not pleased, especially when the hug was especially crushing and painful for her. She wheezed, trying to squirm out of the yeti’s clutches. “Ah woods pure appreciate if ye coods lit go.” Teeth bared, she pounded her fists. First the gingerbread man and now this!

Oh no... no no no no... this wasn't happening. They couldn't leave her here like this, all alone with... well with whatever it was. Usually being alone was something she preferred but certainly not in the middle of a fight, especially one like this. Good grief this thing was strong though and Imryn could feeling herself starting to get a little woozy, body aching.
"Oh yeah? You think you're lonely?! Well you hurt the those two and now I'm all alone!" She yelled while attempting another attack at the beastie, though it seemed that the incident with the gingerbread man was just a fluke. Yet another swing and a miss.

Wincing a little from the last attack attempt, Imryn took a deep breath and pulled herself together for another go only to fail again. Useless seemed to be the theme now, despite how hard she was trying to get away and not pass out.

 Maritess was looking for somewhere quiet. Somewhere "safe" despite all the crazy things happening and all the insanity everywhere. The winged ghoul chose the wrong place to step into at the sight of the Yeti trying to hurt innocent bystanders! Two had dissipated while one remained! Maybe it was instincts, maybe it was a sense of duty but Maritess flew up to the yeti and used her wings to smack it. "Stop that!"

Tess' wing once again slapped at the Yeti, having heard what it was actually saying "Get a hold of yourself! Of course it's dead. It's a zombiejox," she reasoned, hoping the yeti had sense enough to listen to her.
