History|| Ciel was raised with no awareness of her true identity until the age of 7 when her brother began to instruct her. She was very bright for one her age, and she caught on quickly. She worked hard at these lessons for the year and a half before her brother left for college. During the years he was gone, she plead with her parents to teach her. The Galahads, enraged that their son had gone behind their back to instruct his sister, refused at first. As the girl grew older, her interest in the supernatural began to grow; she looked into anything that might be related to her and her family's strange ability. Her parents, thinking this to be a dangerous path, eventually promised to teach her should she swear not to use her powers in public or try to contact other people like them. Ciel eagerly agreed, and she began back at the basics with her parents.
When her brother finally landed a job at a school full of supernatural beings, the teenage shifter asked her parents to attend this school. Again, she was refused and reminded of her promise not to look into supernaturals. Continuing to push, the Galahads eventually caved and allowed their daughter to attend the school under the watchful eye of her older brother. Overjoyed, the girl immediately set out to live with her brother on the island.
