Lethrossen
Asikari's lone figure headed through shorter grasses, none of that tall stuff that could completely hide a grown lion in it. His gaze flickered over the abandoned stretch of the land, wondering when other lions would be 'out to play'. And if he wanted to avoid them or not.

He'd been bothered, recently, by his need.. his want.. of social interaction. And not even him putting others down, recently he was feeling crumy when ever he made a snide remark. He wanted real, healthy, nice conversations. Perhaps he was still afraid to fully admit that to himself, though, because he was still trying to play at mr. meanie.

Just peeking into view was a waterhole, he was pretty sure it was the one closer to the prideland boundries, where a lot of lions went. It wouldn't be crowded this early in day, he hoped. He could spot a few dots around the hole, though. He was unable to tell, at this distance, wether they were lions or just prey animals.

His tail flicked, head tossing to get mane away from his eyes. He'd be to the waterhole in perhaps another ten minutes.

KasaiLoki
The lone charcoal lioness had made her way through the rogue lands, in search of things to do. So far, she had seen no other lions or lionesses, 2 waterholes, and a herd of Thompsons gazelles. She was about to go hunting, but thought against it. She wasn't to hungry, and to waste meat wasn't really this lion's intention.

Her traveling ceased as she made her way near the pridelands. She didn't feel like exploring their lands at the moment, but the waterhole near it looked refreshing, especially after she had been traveling for a day. She moved towards teh water, paws dipping slowly into the liquid. Graciously, she lapped up the water, soothing her parch throat. The scent of another was near, but she didn't bother to find out who.

Lethrossen
A yawn stretched Asi's jaws, eyes slowly half-shutting, body lower to the ground as he continued to lope toward his destination in a lazy manner. He was getting bored with this place, with his life. There was no point to it, certainly. Getting closer to the waterhole he spotted Ari.

He hesitated before continuing, getting to the water and leaning down, drinking before he said any words of greeting. Head coming back up, chin dripping, he glanced to her. "Mornin'." He murmered, blinking at the simplicity of his greeting. Nothing witty or stupid, nothing to try and get her pissy. He glanced back to his reflection, then began to drink again.

KasaiLoki
The rustle of the grass behind her made her lift her head. Her gaze fell upon the mocha lion. She watched as he made his way towards the water. When he greeted her, she nodded her head, returning the greeting with, "Good morning, Asi." Last time she spoke with him, he left with a huff. So she decided not to bring up that subject again. "Er--How are you?" She asked, trying to start a nice conversation, hoping it wouldn't turn into chaos.

Lethrossen
He glanced to her out of the corner of his eye, still lapping at the water. Bringing his head up a second time he shrugged his shoulders. "Er.. I do be.." He paused. "Alrigh' I spose." He mumbled, backing up a few steps and sitting.

His faze remained on the water, instead of going to her. "Feelin' a lil'bored, I guess." He finished, lamely. "An' yerself, 'ow are yew?"

KasaiLoki
"Eh, alright." Okay...so it wasn't the best conversation ever. It was actually sort of awkward for her. "Bored...? Why don't you go..." She paused. Don't say it! "...do something then?" Phew, she stopped herself. Grinning at her accomplishment, she splashed her paw in the water, making small waves. Yeah, she was bored as well.

Lethrossen
He frowned, wondering why there was a pause in that. He also noticed the awkwardness, and that this was a really dull conversation. Perhaps it do be easier when you do be bein' mean. He thought, then let out a small sigh. How weird, to think that meaness is the answer to an interesting conversation.

He rose slowly, rolling his eyes. "Do somethin'... righ." He muttered, gaze flicking around again. But what to do? Obviously Ari didn't care for his company, or so he thought, not that it really surprised him.

KasaiLoki
Her moment of play was done. She lifted her paw from the water, turning herself around to stare at Asi. He wasn't that far from her. Perfect oppurtunity, no? Smirking mischievously, she pounced on him. "Gotcha." She giggled, trying to lighten up the dark mood that lingered between the two felines.

Lethrossen
He yelled out, not expecting this, and tumbled over sideways, the female still on him. He had a rather confused look on his face. "Wha'are yew doin'?" He blinked, face scrunching. He slowly relaxed though, realizing she was just playing. Something he never, ever did as a cub. Play with other cubs.

A slow grin flashed onto his mug, he leaned to n** at her. "Surprise attacks do no count." He muttered.

KasaiLoki
She grinned, sitting down, still on him. "In my books they do." Her voice was cheery now. She wanted to play, yes. She hadn't since probably an adolescent when she stuck around with a few other lionesses. "Hey!" she poked at him with her paw, after he nipped at her. "That wasn't very nice." She feigned a pout, getting off the lion. Her face tried to hold a frown, but sadly, it didn't work. You could tell she was trying not to laugh.

Lethrossen
He snorted "An' jus' when 'ave I been nice, eh?" He rolled over, getting to his feet and shaking off, watching her. He batted a paw at her side. "Yew know well enough tha' I do no like being nice." He grinned at her.

KasaiLoki
"Ah, that I do." She smiled. She stood, circling Asi for moment. Hmm now what to do? Pouncing was done with, as was the poking. She batted at his tail every now in then, acting like a cat trying to catch a mouse on a string. Failing to catch it, she plopped to the ground, rolling onto her back. There were clouds in the sky. Whisps of mare tails high up in the air. No pictures today from the cotton like substance.

Lethrossen
His head tilted and he watched her. "Yew certainly 'ave a lotta energy t'day." He pointed out, slowly sitting where he was, tail still flicking back and forth. "Annee particular reason why?" He smirked a little, raising a brow.

KasaiLoki
Ari rolled herself to her side, blue eyes staring into the ones of Asi. Shrugging, she said a simple, "No." Standing up so she could be in a sitting position, the lioness batted the dirt around. "Just bored...I guess."

Lethrossen
He nodded slowly, shrugging. He didn't know what to say, so he just sat the for a while, watching her. He then began to chuckle, softly, watching what she was doing. And she had the nerve to make fun of him for trying to catch fireflies? "Hmm.. d'yeh wanna venture to the jungle?" It was worth a shot, asking her. He liked the jungle, though it wasn't really suited for lions. Still, a change of scenery could be nice.

KasaiLoki
The charcoal ears of the lioness twitched as he laughed. "Whats so funny?" She asked. She wasn't doing anything comical, was she? When she heard his offer, he ears perked up. "Go to the jungle...?" This lioness didn't know there was a jungle around. Of course, she did spend most of her days traveling through desert, so that was probably the reason. "Sure. I'd love to!"

Lethrossen
He shrugged slightly " 'ow antsy you are." He muttered, standing and stretching, gaze slowly floating around. "If I do no be mistakin', it's tha' way." He lifted a paw and prodded it toward the south. "Migh' take a while though." He began walking, glancing back to see if she was coming or not.

KasaiLoki
She nodded. "Okay." and shrugged when he said it would've taken awhile. I don't mind how long it takes to get there." She grinned, follwoing him at a small trot to catch up with the mocha lion. "Neveer been to a jungle before." She said quietly.

Lethrossen
"Ne'er?" he sounded surprised, shrugging also. "I 'ave, once. Though ran inter some pretty nasty company." He muttered, not mentioning Bakhti's name. "It do be very wet in the jungle." He glanced to her, wondering if she knew this or not. "Though yew mighta figured tha'." He nodded slowly.

KasaiLoki
Ari nodded. She heard stories from her parents back when she was a cub about the jungle. Lush green area were the most vivid details that stuck out to her. Here in this baron wasteland, you'd be lucky to even see the color green.

Time passed by, and Ari continued to follow Asi. She knew they were closed, by thte way the temperature grew to inheirit mugginess and the dirt slowly began to grow patches of grass.

Lethrossen
Asi's pink and black splotchy tongue lolled from slightly parted jaws, movements a bit sluggish. He was glad they were getting close, he wanted a swim. Or a nap, which ever seemed more possible once they got there.

Just peeking into their view was the beginings of a few bushes and trees, slowly blending to even more greenary that became the jungle. Asi quickened his pace a little, grinning. "There be the bes' site i do ever see t'day." He smirked, tail flicking.

KasaiLoki
"So this be it?" She asked, matching his pace. Once under the shade of the trees, she slowed. Her paws ached. It was a rather long journey. The sound of running water was near. Walking ahead of Asi, she followed it until she found the source.

Lethrossen
Not only the sound of water, but the sound of a waterfal. Asi had gone swimming in it, once. But he hadn't stayed in too long, he thought it might be dangerous too. Coming up beside her his gaze rolled over the beautiful sight, the enormous, brightly colored flowers; all the different trees, with branches that didn't start until far up, the vines, and the thorns, and even some, he suspected, poisonous plants. His gaze flickered to shadows, shadows that seemed to hint at movement in them, he wondered how many types of animals lived in here. It was inspiring. "This be it." He repeated, then smirked a little, nudging her.

"Fancey a swim?" with out waiting for her answer he headed to the pool of water that the waterfall was emptying itself into, it was large. Larger than any waterhole he'd seen, and probably freezing cold, too. Sunlight had a hard time reaching the forst floors.

KasaiLoki
Her eyes were as wide as saucers. She had never, in her whole existance on this planet, seen anything this...beautiful. She peered into the water, clear as glass. You could see pebbles at the bottom and the mulitple colored fishes swimming in a school. The trees were taller than those on the plains as well. It all amazed her.

As she was nudged, she was brought out of a little daydream. A swim did sound nice. Flicking her tail, she followed the lion slowly. The water was indeed, a bit chilly. Looking up from where she waded, she saw a little opening in the trees where the sun was shining on the water.

Kimaria
Arching his back as he reached up to sharpen his claws on the trunk of the nearest tree Amari stood once more, stature proud and defiant as he found himself once again in the jungle that had once been his haven. The place had been a symbol of beauty, a perfect home for him despite the damp atmosphere...but that had been spoiled by the tree-dwelling felines who had scared him.

Not now however.

Not when he was growing in mind and body, powerful muscles that had been strengthened from brawls and journeys. He parted his maw in a yawn, almost missing the sound of voices somewhere behind him. He swivelled around, a cool breeze hitting him in the face, and with it the scent of one he knew well. Asikari?

With renewed curiosity he slunk forwards towards the source.

Lethrossen
Asi was a little awkward feeling by her lack of chattering, though he decided it was from the trip, and perhaps from the place they were in. He snorted a bit, shaking his head, he shouldn't really care. He splashed into the shallows, not caring about going into the water slowly. Plus it was so chilly that if he was to go in slowly.. he thought he might just chicken out.

He got pretty far, the water came up to his shoulders, before he bent down, dunking under. Coming up was a bit of a shock. " 'oly 'ell" He burst out. "Bloo'an ashes, it's freezing." He claimed, looking quite the sight. Sopping wet and shaking a bit, he tossed his head to get his soggy mane out of his face, then grinned, splashing some water toward Ari with his paw "C'mon, you do be rather slow.." He was unaware of Amari still.

KasaiLoki
"It's cold!" the lioness complained, moving into the water slowly, but surely. If she was furless, you could see the small bumps from the chill. She hissed however, when Asi splashed water towards her. Maybe where the sun hit the water would be more warming? It was worth a shot. Picking up her numb paws, she moved quickly into the water. It was beginning to warm, the movement in her joints probably made that possible. The scent of another, one not so familiar, yet familiar lingered in the air, causing the lioness to look for its bearer.

Kimaria
He heard the sound of splashing just ahead and winced inwardly at the thought of risking getting wet. Already the ground beneath him was giving way to a marshy area, paws sinking further than they ought to and throwing away his sense of balance. At Asi's exclamation he realised that it indeed was his old friend and with a smirk that caused his whiskers to quiver he continued onwards, aware now of another scent on the breeze.

So it seemed his grouchy companion had made a friend after all! He found himself feeling rather happy about this prospect, glad that he was finally learning the ways of friendship.

It was only when he had pushed through a particularly difficult clump of undergrowth that he caught sight of the other. A female! And a pretty one at that! So was this some sort of secret love affair that 'Kari had going? He chuckled this time, trying to keep silent and almost succeeding, suddenly aware that the strange lioness had caught onto his scent. Damn! He had hoped to spy a little longer. Maybe a quick retreat was in order? Hmm...

Lethrossen
Asi smirked when she hissed, heading toward the waterfall as appose to the warm, sunny water spot. Swimming was a little awkward, and scary, when his feet no longer touched the bottem, but he'd get over it. "So, like it?" He called over his shoulder, then glanced back.

What was she smelling at? He tested the air too. Amari!

KasaiLoki
"It's different." She said, her body submerged in the water so only her head and wheat colored forelock showed. The scent of the other slipped her mind for a moment before realizing Asi had smelled it to.

Kimaria
Uh-oh!

Amari staggered backwards, catching his mane on twigs and snapping them as he tried to back up out of the undergrowth and make his escape. Seemed they had both caught on to him now, and if he hung about much longer he would be completely busted and that wouldn't be good for his health.

He gave a small squeak of surprise as he backed up into a rather thorny bush and shifted sideways to make a hasty escape.

Lethrossen
Asi gave a small growl, heading quickly for the shore. "Oh no, yew do no be goin'way, show yer self Amari." He called out, slightly angry that one of his only friends was spying, and would probably make something of Asi being here with Ari.

That lion had his mind set on one thing above all else, females.. and that made Asi a little uncomfortable.

KasaiLoki
Ari watched as Asi scurried out of the water. Attempting to do so at the same speed only caused her to be plunged under the water for a moment. Glaring at her misplaced footing, she attempted to get out of the water again, this time, at a slower pace. She suceeded, though she was dripping from head to toe. Shaking herself dry, she watched the mocha lion. "Amari..?" She questioned, hearing the snapping of twigs and rustle of bushes.

Kimaria
He winced, lowering himself to the ground, ears pinned back as he heard Asikari call out his name. Dammit! He really had to learn to be a bit more stealthy...atleast he knew now why he wasn't as good a hunter as others may be. He should have gotten a lesson or two from his Maawio before he left. Nevermind, that could be for another day. Right now he had some explaining to do.

He turned and slunk back the way he came, pushing himself out of the undergrowth and making his way slowly around the edge of the water, not getting too close in case he lost his footing. Seemed as if the others didn't mind getting wet too much.

"Uhh...hi?" He gave them both a sheepish look before recovering. "Well aren't you going to introduce me to this beautiful lady friend of yours Asi?"

Lethrossen
He let himself stay dripping, still not aware of Amari's unease around water. He moved a few feet, plopping down a glaring at the other male. "Wha' were yew doin' 'idin' like tha'?" He asked, right away.

He blinked and glanced at Ari skeptically. Beautiful? Oh, right.. Amari called every female he'd ever met beautiful, at least, Asi thought. Though Ari wasn't bad looking. "I do be sure she can talk to yew 'erself, she do no be a mute." He thought it was stupid when other people introduced lions.

And he was a little edgy, he just wasn't sure why. Defensive feeling.

KasaiLoki
Ari gave an amused look at Amari. By the way she didn't speak within a few minutes, would've proven Asi's statement wrong about her being a mute. "My name's Ari." She introduced herself. Usually she would've said her whole name, but eh, she didn't feel like it really.

Kimaria
Amari blinked and glanced down at the ground, pawing at a small rock and sending it skittering down the slope and into the water. Ripples emanated from the place it had dropped and sent a shuder down his spine. Hazel eeys trailed back up to Asi and noted how wet the other lion was. If he dared come any closer...not that he had any need to worry about that, Asi was one to keep his distance. "I wasn't hiding...just uh got lost is all and realised I'd taken a wrong turn." Well he wasn't a cery good liar apparently.

"Asi and Ari, eh?" He chuckled lightly, "well that's a little confusing but nonetheless I'm glad I got to meet another of this groucy lion's friends." He bowed his head a little in her direction and gave her his most charming smile.

"You known each other long?" He asked, tone filled with innocent curiosity.

Lethrossen
"Los' sure." He huffed, but decided to let it go. His tail flicked, curling around him slowly. He tossed his head a little, sending more water flying, but thankfully none toward Amari.

What the hell did he mean by that? Asi's mouth opened a little, he looked a little confused, and getting grouchier by the second. Amari better not be making crap up in his head. He huffed. Good, he's starting to flirt.. er Asi though anyways. That was good, in his opinion. "Frien'?" he repeated, raising a brow and glancing sideways at Ari. Yeah he supposed he could reffer to her as a friend. ((oh man. perfect little thing needed for amari to misintupet -laughes-))

"Known 'er a while.." He gave Amari a suspicious look.

KasaiLoki
The charcoal lioness nodded as the other answered. When he repeated the word 'Friend,' she tilted her head, stealing a glance at him. She questioned it in her mind, but shrugged it off on his next comment. So she was now a friend of his. That be an accomplishment, she thought to herself, remembering one day what the younger lion had said to her.

Her attention then focused on Amari. "Not going to introduce yourself?" She blinked. She was amused, this one was more interested in Asi's and herselve's lives.

Kimaria
At Asi's reaction to the lioness being his friend Amari could not help but have the feeling he really had interrupted something more than an innocent walk between friends. Could these two possibly be more than that? Did Asi in fact go for the older women? Oh ho ho! So was she in fact his girlfriend? Well there were ways of discovering things such as this and he always welcomed a challenge.

His whiskers twitched and he continued to display a wide, toothy grin, curiosity getting the better of him. Were they or werent they?

Curiosity killed the cat?

He shook his head to rid himself of such thoughts. He was not a cat, he was a lion, proud, brave and strong and ready for anything!

"I'm Amari, a simple rogue if you will. Friend of Mr. Grouchy there. He's not really so bad once you get to know him...although I'm sure you've figured that by yourself. He never told me he had a girl." He grinned widely.

Lethrossen
That was like a slap in the face, his mouth fell open. "Wha'?" he hissed, narrowing his eyes at Amari, almost getting up. "A girl... blimey yew do be an idiot Amari.." he sneered, nose tritching, he sat there, just staring at Amari, not even glancing at Ari.

"Sh..she do no be my girl." He finally stated, frowning. "Yew do be the one with... those kinds of tastes." He muttered, looking off to the side.

Lightning Shadow X
A large lion prowled near the group, stopping near a small pond of water as his rough tongue lapped up the cool liquid, his dry throat from the Firekin territory quenched as he sighed in relief.
His pale violet eyes then set on the two adolescents, squinting as he could make out the form of the orange and pale brown one, he then stood up, his large, sandy mane sweeping over his back as his deep adult voice called out to one of them.
"Amari?"

KasaiLoki
The lioness smiled when Amari introduced himself. But the smile turned quickly into a frown when he referred to her as Asi's girl. The bright blue eyes of hers quickly narrowed into slits. This lion assumed things way to fast, and Ari didn't like that. Her tail flicked irratably behind her.

The sound of another lion made the lioness turn her head. Suddenly, she felt herself surrounded by males. That was uncomfortable. Standing, she backed away, unaware she was heading back into the water.

Kimaria
Hmm Asikari wasn't looking too impressed...maybe he had gone a little too far with his teasing. He was never one to be too subtle, tending to be more blunt and open with his words. He rolled his eyes and sat down, tail curling about him as he gazed between the charcoal lioness and the mocha lion. They did look good together that was for sure.

"Taste for beautiful women? Well yes I don't deny it but I think you have secret desires too, do you not?" He twitched his ears back at the frown that decorated the females face. Uh oh, he didn't want to face her wrath that was for sure.

Then suddenly he heard his name being called and bristled slightly, the voice was deep, male and obviously belonged to an older lion than himself. Yet it held a familiar tone that grabbed his attention and caused him to look around. Standing not too far away was a huge male lion and one that he recognised instantly. "Suku?!" He could not hide the surprise from his voice at seeing the older male, Maawio's dearest adopted brother. "You've grown!" He exclaimed, a rather amusing picture of shock scribbled on his face.

Lethrossen
Secret desires? Oh gosh. This was too much. Asi didn't know wether to laugh or cry out, what was wrong with Amari? He glanced to Ari as she began to move away, frowning a little deeper. Just great.

"Suku?" He repeated quietly to himself, then groaned. It just got better, the big male who'd once given him a bath. Claiming he needed better manners. "Wha' a fun reunion." He said, with over the top cheeriness which was obviously ment for sarcassum.

Lightning Shadow X
The older lion chuckled, walking towards the 'boy', man, he had grown, Maawio will go gaga over how big he is once she see's him, then again, a lot has changed so maybe she already has.
His large paws padded the ground before he plopped his rear down and sat infront of the teen.
"So have you, look at you, a fine adolescent!"
His maw was laced with a proud brotherly smile at the boy as he looked at him through pale eyes.

KasaiLoki
The lioness didn't speak, instead she allowed the males to bond. Turning her head, Ari pawed at the water. She liked to be around others, sure. But today it just seemed sort of, off. She sighed, listening in on the conversing lions. The one that had just entered, was a deep colored brown. Her ears twitched everynow and then, picking up the adult lion's name.

Lethrossen
Asi, seeing as he was being ignored, and rather happy about it, slunky back toward the water, sort of following Ari. He stopped at waters edge though, gaze flicking around to see if any sun had managed to penetrait the leaf filled forest roof and warmed a spot on the grounds. No such luck.

He sighed and sat, back to Amari and Suklu, gaze on the water and Ari, but not ari specifically, more or less in her direction. His ear twitched a little, he wondered if he should find a way to sneak off before suku noticed him.

KasaiLoki
Ati tilted her head up, looking at Asi. She didn't know whether or not it was safe to speak to him. It might give the one lion, what was his name again? Oh, Amari, reasons to believe that she was 'Asi's girl.'

Her gaze shifted back down to the ground. She was pawing at the dirt out of boredom. What a great way to spend the day in the jungle. listening to a little reunion between the males. She lifted herself from a sitting posistion, moving into the tree ridden land. Maybe a little silence would be good for her?

Lethrossen
Asi felt the same exact way, not sure if he was 'able' to talk to her yet XD. He threw a glar in Amari's direction, sighing and shaking his head. He flicked a small pebble with his paw, seeing it tumble into the water, and groaned a little. Today wasn't supposed to be boring.

He stood again, stretching, and slipped around the other two males, getting a bit angry at himself. He began to slip past the trees, deciding to head deeper into the forest.

KasaiLoki
Once out of hearing range from the two lions, she turned around seeing if Asi was near. "Is it safe to speak without being misinterpretted?" The lioness asked, watching a ladybug crawl across the patch of dirt. Her eyes had softened up somewhat, though still in a bit of a glare.

Lethrossen
A sheepish look overcame him. Asi! Sheepish! What a day. "Er.." He shrugged slowly, not knowing how to reply to that. He was pretty sure Amari was saying those things half just to tease them, half because amari wanted them to be true. "I do.. think yew should no pay attention to 'im" He finally muttered, slowing his walk a little, tail flicking.

KasaiLoki
What a day this was turning out too. Ari gave a short "mrr" before continuing walking. "I take it he's the one you fought before becoming friends?" She asked, not really waiting for an answer. It was getting muggy. Muggier, actually. The humidity was trapped underneath the trees. It was a nasty feeling against already wet fur, and the charcoal lioness didn't like it!

Lethrossen
With all the water in the air it seemed a bit harder to breath, and it had Asi feeling nervous. What if they sufficated? Could that even happen.. "Yah, 'e do be the one." He murmered. "I think I pissed 'im off 'boot 'is doll face, actually." He snorted and a flicker of a smile appeared on his face. "Or 'is name or somethin' stupid, really." He muttered quietly, gaze flicking around at all the shadows.

KasaiLoki
A small snicker came from the charcoal lioness. Yep, she could picture Asi saying something stupid to piss another off. She knew the lion all to well. Ack! I can't be here anymore. Blue eyes shifted in all directions looking for a way out of this area. It was getting to her. Moving towards the left, she hoped to find an exit soon. Now, she knew why most lions lived on the plains, rather then here.

Lethrossen
Asi followed her steps, though a bit slowly, mulling over something in his mind. "Aye. Guess the jungle do be good onnee if its fer a visit.. eh?" He murmered, only half thinking about what he was saying.

Andrani
Lounging in the heat of the sun, or at least some poor excuse for shade out of it, Ishara watched the water hole. Was it her imagination, or was it getting SMALLER? She tried not to think about it, tail flicking away flies. The pesky little things... She rolled over so her white belly reflected the heat away, closing her eyes against the sun.

KasaiLoki
"Eh.." Was her reply, repeating his last word. When she saw a bright light, she knew the exit was near. And there it was. The air had lifted to its normal dryness, just perfect for the dark pelt lioness.

Her head turned behind her, noting Asi had slowed somewhat. She waited for him to catch up, before heading back towards the roguelands. She could vaguely see the triangle shape of Pride rock in the distance. It looked close, but in reality, it was far. She knew that by how long it took to get to the jungle from her homelands.

Lethrossen
When the heat hit him as he came into the open he made a small fuss, sighing. "jus' grea'. There do be no normal weather 'round 'ere." He hissed, more to himself than Asi. He hoped there was a waterhole on the way, if he wasn't mistaken he thought they're passed a small one on the way here.

Andrani
The black and white lioness was vaguely aware of her growling stoumach. But it was so hot... But she was so hungry... Lazily, she weighed her options. Get up and hunt, possibly keel over from overheating, or just lay here and starve to death. Opening one eye, she looked at the shrinking water hole. Fish.... Perfect. Cool off and get a meal in one go. She rolled over, sitting up slowly before stretching and letting out a loud yawn. Oh, what a lazy day this was...

KasaiLoki
Hearing a small sound of splashing, probably from fish, Ari turned her attention towards a small thicket of grass. Water was a good thing, or else she could get overheated. Moving her way towards it, she was suprised to see Ishara there. "Long time no speak," Ari said to the other lioness, a small grin plastered on her face.

Andrani
Ishara looked up, then smiled herself. "Well, hello to you, too, Ari. Care to join me in fishing?" She nodded toward the water before padding over to it, doing her best not to slip in the mud at the edges.

Lethrossen
Asi hesitated before following, frowning a little. He tried to remember if he'd met Ishara or not, he thought he might have been rude to her at some point. He sat right where he was in view, but away from the two females.

Fishing? Who ate fish? He made a face at the water, wondeirng if it was even safe to eat things living in the waterholes around these lands.

KasaiLoki
"I think I might pass on fishing today, though thanks for offering." However, the lioness moved towards the water. Another dip in the water would be good to cool her down, then she'd probably take a nap. Oh yeah, a afternoon nap sounded great right about now. "Care to join in, Asi?"

Andrani
"Suit yourself..." The lioness stepped further into the water, then noticed Asi. "Why hello there, have we met?" She smiled a bit. "Such a handsome lion like you I'd remember..." Her tail flicked a bit of water as she paused, enjoying the cool feel of it. Hm, maybe she wouldn't fish after all...

Successful Edit
This was more like it! Despite the humidity and the clinging heat, Rahima was loving the jungle. She was roaming 'round by it. There was plenty of water, enough colour that she didn't stick out like a sore paw, and cover aplenty. Thorns and lack of food, however...

Padding through the undergrowth the crimson female kept an ear out for other fair sized creatures. And, once again, she ended up practically stalking her own kind - idiot, idiot, idiot. Lucky she smelt and spotted them before she pounced on someone.

Asi shrugged slightly, slowly rising. "Tha' do no look big enough to swim in.." He was about to add more when Ishara decided to turn her attention to him. He got a very uncomfortable look about himself when she called him handsom and sat right down again, not coming any further.

"Asi, my name be asi." He said, not knowing how to react to the comment really. Amari might get a kick out of this one, though. XD

Andrani
"Asi...." Ishara sat down in the water, rolling it over her tongue. "Nice name..." She smiled still, then got up, sloshing through the water before padding up out of it and over to the male. "I wonder... If you're handsome even when dirty... What would you look like clean...?" She stepped closer, utter curiosity in her eyes.

Lethrossen
Asi gave a squeak of all things, trying to think of the rudest, meanest, thing he could say. But nothing came, he was in panic mode from Ishara's flirtatious attitude. He leaned back, trying to lean away from her, and glancing around, eyes landing on Ari He almost seemed to be pleading with her silently to save him XD. "I.. i.." Well this was a rather enjoyable side to Asikari, being so uncomfortable he had no idea what to say.

His tail curled around him, almost in a protective manner. "I do no think you introduced yerself." He said in a quick huff, looking dumbfounded that that was the only thing he could think of to say.

KasaiLoki
Ari waded in the water. After a moment, she saw Ishara get out. Guess she wasn't up for fishing. She snickered however, when she began to flirt with Asi. Looking at the dumbfounded lion, a quiet giggle escape her throat. It was amusing, she'd have to admit.

Andrani
The lioness sat down. "Oh, I appologise for that! I am Ishara." The smile remained on her face, the curious glint in her eyes. This lion fascinated her, to say the least. Imagining him with a full mane, full size of an adult, even if he was scruffy and dirty... Still handsome in her mind.

Successful Edit
Pressed low to the ground, Rahima cursed herself repeatedly. Where was Bakhti when she needed her - she'd just waltz in or advise leaving quietly. Kneading the earth with her paws, she had to try to not smile at Asi's stuttering. Catching herself evesdropping, she got up to go...back to the jungle for a night, then across the grasslands back to the pridelands, then maybe to find a Firekin...who knew. She was just wandering.

Lethrossen
Serves him right Ari was only going to giggle about it and not help him. "Ehn." He muttered, looking rather scared. He shifted a little, gaze finally falling on his coffee colored paws, tail flicking back and forth.

At least Amari wasn't here to make it anymore uncomfortable. He glanced sideways, around, and spotted Rahima backing up. "Spyin'gain, eh?" He called out, glad for a distraction from his discomfort.

Andrani
The lioness chuckled a bit. "You're cute when you stutter..." She got up, then walked up to him, rubbing against him. "And you got a nice accent..." She couldn't help the slight purr that escaped.

KasaiLoki
Ari gave Asi a look of sympathy, before deciding to get up. "Ishara..." She called out to her. "I think you be scaring the lion." She blinked, looking at the look on his face. When she heard Asi call out, she turned her head in the direction, noting a rustle of grass.

Lethrossen
"Bloo' an' ashes." He hissed, suddenly scrambling up and a few steps away from her. "I do no be cute and I do no 'ave a nice accent.." He sneered, but a slight whine gave away his obvious unease. He narrowed his eyes a little, ready to move back if she tried to get closer again.

God, this was why females were Amari's thing and not his.

Successful Edit
"I can't help it, didn't know you were there....not intentional."

She shrugged as best as a feline can, turning her head to call back. No need to slink in the grass now someone had spotted her, so she stood up, her colouring making her position a few metres away obvious. She paused, tail flicking, half hoping someone would ask her to join in. But then she'd just make a fool of herself...best she go, right?

Andrani
The lioness sat down. "I still say you look cute when you stutter and you have a nice accent." Her attention turned to the red lioness. Mentally, she counted. Three females, and Asi... What odds these were... If he were an adult, it'd almost look like a patchwork of a pride...

Lethrossen
Asi let out a slow breath, gaze still on 'crimson'. "So yew be comin' 'ere or no?" He called over, the first time.. wait second Asi had ever invited someone to join him. Then he too noticed the lack of males.

Not that he liked crowds but.. He slipped down near the water, lapping it up, looking grouchy and harassed XD

Successful Edit
Her whole posture changed to almost resemble an overeager, nervous cub - her ears flicked forward, her tail still and she fair bounded the few metres towards the others. Nodded greetings and an anxious smile served as a greeting for the other females. Both she couldn't recall metting before, but then her memory of faces was poor.

Andrani
Ishara watched the red lioness, then smiled. "Hello. I recall your face, but not your name..." It was true, she could and couldn't. An ear flicked toward Asi, fascination in the male still there.

Successful Edit
"I'm called Rahima. I think I once met you, quickly...but I'm afraid I don't know your name." She looked to Ari as well, racking her memory. "And I don't think I've had the pleasure?"

'Crimson' no more, she sat and curled her tail round her, the pink streaked tip waving as if it had a mind of it's own.

KasaiLoki
Ari glanced towards Rahima. "No, I don't think we have. I'm Ari" She nodded a greeting to the crimson lioness. "Pleasure to meet you."

Ari moved towards a small space of empty land. With a huff she plopped onto the ground, gaze changing from each from lion.

Kimaria
Bounding and leaping over the twisted roots, and ducking beneath low hanging branches Amari made his way slowly towards the voices that he heard. He was filled with energy today and was considering making hsi way back to the pridelands to see his little Sunshine whilst he felt rested. However he still had much teasing to do - mostly involving Asi and his newfound girl - and was therefore heading in the direction he had seen him go.

He didn't bother to mask himself, walking somewhat noisily a long with the wind carrying his scent towards the lions who were just up ahead.

Andrani
Ishara nodded at the red lioness. "I am Ishara." Her ears flicked and she turned at the scent of someone approaching. Who on earth...? She squinted a bit to see who was approaching.

Lethrossen
Asi just cought scent of Amari, and knew he'd be here soon. He groaned and began heading away from the water, away from the females. This would not be a good setting to be in when Amari arrived, it probably ment endless teasing. He glanced sideways at the others. Or maybe it ment Ishara would find more interest in Amari. He grinned a little at this

Successful Edit
Around the same time as the others, her attention flicked to the male coming towards them. Amari, perhaps?

Andrani
Ishara noticed Asi starting to walk away. "And where are you going, dusty hunk?" She got up and went over, practically coiling around him like a snake. She'd seen plenty of decent looking males in her life, but none quite like this one. She couldn't quite put her claw on it, but there was something about him that she liked.

Kimaria
Oh ho ho! What was this? He pushed himself out into the area where he had figured the lions would be, and lo and behold found them once again at the water's edge. With a small snort as he spotted Asi once again surrounded by females - and looking rather uncomfortable - he gave the others a dazzling smile, eyes falling upon the new lioness he had not yet been introduced to.

He was about to begin his usual flirt routine when she moved swiftly over to Asi, curling herself about him in a seductive manner. His jaw dropped open, eyes widened in disbelief, a rather amusing image he made, mouth gaping like a fish.

"w-wha?" Well damn, that meant he didn't get to flirt with her... "Hey Asi aren't you going to introduce me to that beautiful green-eyed femme of yours?" Well nevermind, he could still tease an old buddy, right?

Lethrossen
Asi hissed, trying to squirm away from the female. "I do be tryin' ta leave.." He sounded desperate to leave, actually. And then he heard Amari's voice, froze and then gave a small groan. This was probably worse than Amari thinking Ari was his girl, considering Ishara was snuggled up against him.

Though contradicting himself about thinking it was stupid to introduce others.. " 'er name do be Ishara." He muttered, his voice a bit higher than usual. "Ishara why do you no go make nice with Amari? I do be sure you be findin' 'im much more 'andsom.." He muttered, a final attempt to get her to go away.

It wasn't that he thought she was ugly, he didn't often think of females by what they looked like, so he didn't really have anything to compare Ishara too, to see if she was pretty or ugly. The whole idea of a mate or cubs or any of that, though? Yeah it skeeved him out big time.

Amari was the one who thought all lionesses were beautiful.

Andrani
Ishara sat down, tilting her head and glancing at Amari, then back at Asi. "I don't know... He looks shallow to me.. But you... You have depth to that mind." Her tail curled a bit, landing on the coffe-colored male's tail as she regarded him, green eyes dancing.

Kimaria
Amari rolled his eyes, perhaps a little hurt by her remark but not letting himself show it. So what if he was shallow? It seemed to him that she was acting pretty the much the same as him as far as he was concerned. He bristled a little and sat down, glaring between the two with his sharp-eyed gaze.

"Seem's you've gained another fan with that bad-boy attitude you've got going there Asi." He said, pretending he hadn't heard any remark from the female, a small smirk evident on his face. "Somehow I think it suits you to have a group of girls following you like a herd of gazelle." This in itself wasn't a lie, for it seemed that the male seemed to prefer the company of females - whether he had realised it or not. It wouldn't be long before he settled down with one of them though, instincts and all that.

Lethrossen
Asi frowned a little at her remark, and sneered a little. "Ah Amari do be shallow fer' likin' pretty dolls bu' you no cause yew claim ter fin' intrest in me cause I do be handsom?" He tried to flick his tail away, getting very pissy. Amari was his friend, even if he tried to make snotty remarks to the other, he didn't like others making those snotty remarks to amari.

"An' yew, I do no be gaining fans." He glared at Amari, fur slightly sticking up with his annoyance, discomfort, and unease. He felt like he was being backed into a corner by Ishara. His jaw dropped a little at the second comment, not exactly knowing how to respond.

Andrani
The lioness couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Whenever she saw Asi, he DID seem to be surrounded by females... Perhaps he was unaware of whatever magnetism he seemed to hold... Whatever it was, it had certainly hooked the black and white female. Then again, something behind Amari caught her eye and Ishara fell silent as she watched whatever it was.

Peeking out of a bush and seeing Amari's tail, Danzi watched it. He'd woken up from his last mid-day nap having actually had a pleasant dream for once, and now he was bored. Nothing like a bored young lion. That tail was rather fascinating... He remembered the older male, he'd met him with Bakhti around, so that made him okay. The orange juvenile krept toward the tail, keeping low and silent as possible.

Kimaria
He chuckled at Asi's first comment, tail swishing from side to side with happiness. Sometimes that lion's grouchy comments could be ever so amusing, especially when they were directed to one other than himself. He snapped to attention as Asikari glanced at him and nodded. "If you say so buddy." He gave a shrug of his shoulders and dipped his head a little, hazel eyes closing part way as he laughed quietly. However even in this position he did not miss the look of slight shock on Asikari's face. Had he only just started to realise he really was a hit with the ladies? He really needed to get some lessons off of him sometime.

So wrapped up in his current conversation with the pair he did not notice the orange juvenile creeping up behind him. He never had been the most observant lion.

Lethrossen
Asi began to sulk a little, slowly laying down, watching Ishara out of the corner of his eye, trying to make sure she didn't come too close. Seeing as when he tried to get away from her she followed, so that seemed to not work. He muttered something under his breath, shaking his head slightly.

Asi also didn't notice Danzi, too worked up over the recent events.

Andrani
The juvenile got closer, now in view of at least Ishara and Asi. His head jerked a bit as he followed the tail's twitches with his eyes, carefully stepping yet closer. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Danzi wondered just how close he could get before he was noticed by the owner of the tail.

Kimaria
Aw Asi was sulking? Amari shook his head and lowered his body so he was lying on his stomach on the grass. It felt exceptionally cool against his fur, a relief from the humidity that always hung so thickly in the area. Luckily he hadn't spotted any of those tree-climbers, probably too afraid to challenge him now that he was older and stronger.

With a wide yawn that ended in the rumblings of a sleepy roar he let his eyes fall closed. "So Green-eyes, where you from?" He wanted to assume she was a rogue but decided against making assumptions like that. Perhaps she had followed Asi from the pridelands or from a pride someplace else, too smitted to give them another thought.

He still paid no attention to his surroundings, nor noticing the look Ishara was giving to the approaching lion.

Andrani
Snapping back to attention, Ishara looked back at Amari. "As Asi said, my name is Ishara, and I'm from far away." She glanced off into the distance. "Let's just say I'm well-traveled..." She smiled a bit, then looked back at Amari. "To put it simple, though, I'm but a rogue, following the pawprints of wandering lions before me."

Stopping the crouch, Danzi's tail curled a bit, the black tip waving in the air a bit. A small grin played across his face as he wiggled, preparing to pounce.

Baneful
Masuka had been prowling the lands when she heard familiar voices carried on the wind and faint scents reached her nose. Intruiged, she made her way towards the source of the sound, as usual, her pelt making her like a drifting ghost ambling across the dusty grasses.

She paused at a slight distance and watched Asi somewhat cornered by lions. He didn't really like to socialise, did he? So he couldn't be too comfortable where he was. Masuka's cool blue gaze drifted across the other lions present, lingering for a time on Ishara. Masuka wasn't very keen on other females depite the impression she often gave and behind her, her tail set up a predatory flicking.

She wasn't well hidden however, she very rarely was.

Lethrossen
Asi wanted to be alone. Or maybe in Masuka's company. At least she considered him to be a brother, abit pesky and grouchy, but a brother. Not a piece of meat. Like how Ishara was making him feel before XD. He shifted a bit, gaze flicking around before landing on Danzi. He smirked a bit.

Strange, he was craving the females company so much he could smell her scent. His gaze continued to move about, until he spotted her ghostly figure. "Thank the ligh'" He muttered, bounding to his feet and stepping a bit away from Ishara, waiting for Masuka.

Kimaria
"Ahh another rogue." He nodded, "sometimes I think it is a blessing not to be tied down by a pride...but then other times I wish I could be a part of one. It's like I'm being torn in half by that decision." He shrugged, "do you like to wander endlessly? Or do you hope to find a haven in which you can settle?" The question always came to him and he wondered if perhaps other rogues thought of it too. Or maybe he was the only one to question his motives?

He glanced in surprise as Asi got up and gave him a strange look, now completely distracted with the goings on.

Andrani
Ishara shrugged. "I'm just not ready to settle down yet, I suppose. Still working the wanderlust I obtained when my brothers were run out of my old pride out of my system, you could say." She blinked as Asi got up, then noticed the pale lioness. Somewhere in her mind, she couldn't help but think that all the interesting males were somehow always taken...

With a rather pathetic, though playfull, roar, Danzi pounced at Amari's tail, entent upon grabbing it. Such a TEMPTING tail it was!

Baneful
Masuka's gaze lingered a little longer on Asi, and as he looked over, she gave him a warm smile and mouthed mutely "I have to hunt, sorry." before quietly slinking off towards the east. It was true though, as much as she wanted a chat, she was very very hungry, and with so many of the local lions caught up in conversation, she might as well take advantage of the situation.

As she walked off, she caught Amari's words about rougues seeking prides and quietly shook her head. The idea of joining a pride had bothered her for a while, but after much deliberation she had decided that she would never follow someone else's lead. It was matriarch or nothing in her independent life these days, no more of that submissive and obedient lioness crap.

She broke into a run as her thoughts of independence reached a crecendo, the land beneath her paws a blur of colour. She was healthy and strong, she didn't need anyone else, a quality she respected in other lions as much as she did in herself.

Still, she had really wanted to chat, did that make her weak?

Lethrossen
He huffed and sat back down, muttering about hunting and such, then gave a little start at Danzi's pathetic rawr, glancing over, he began to chuckle. "Aye 'ell at least I do no be a cub magnet, eh Amari?" His gaze flickered over Danzi, well aware he wasn't exactly a cub.

"Oy, 'ey Danzi." He murmered, tail flicking.

Kimaria
"I guess everyone is different." He replied, letting the mane hang in his eyes to conceal a part of his face. "Take things as they come, that's what I always say..." He wished he could take his own advice, but somehow it never worked out that way, he was always questioning and worrying about things that had yet to pass.

A playful roar echoed briefly in his ears and then he felt a weight pressing against his tail, pinning it against the ground. He bristled and tired to scramble forwards, whirling around with eyes wild with fear and shock. At seeing the orange male however he let himself relax a little.

"Danzi!" He cried in relief, "what are you doing out here? Where's Bakhti?" He glanced around as if expecting her to appear too then finally settled his gaze upon Asi once more. "Yeah...cub magnet. Lucky me!" He chuckled, not minding the juvenile's presence at all.

Andrani
Tumbling off the tail when Amari stood, Danzi blinked before sitting up. "I dunno, I haven't seen her in a while..." He looked over toward Asi, then waved a paw. "Hi, Asi!" Turning back to the male in front of him, the cub asked, "Did you know an adult male that was a bit darker than me in the fur, had lighter eyes, and a scar on his face?"

Still thinking perhaps Asi was taken, Ishara stood up and stretched before padding over to a log, jumping on it and using it to sharpen her claws. May as well, you never know when you might need good, sharp claws...

Lethrossen
Asi shifted, glancing sideways at Ishara, then sighing in relief. He padded closer to where the males were, thinking about maybe leaving. His tail flickied a bit, and he stayed quiet.

Kimaria
"Ah, she's just probably out with her new...uhh I mean...she's probably just busy." He gave the younger male a warm smile, not sure whether he knew about Bakhti's new relationship with a certain white and brown male. Best not say anything right now anyway, not until he had confirmed it with his own eyes.

Hmm...He tilted his head a little...a scar on his face? He shook his head slowly, "nope sorry Danzi, can't say I have, this lion have a name? Perhaps that'll jog my memory..."

Andrani
The cub sighed a bit, trying to remember the name. "I've heard animals talk about me looking like him..." His mind ran over it over and over, not seeming to be too bothered about Bakhti having a distraction. He had his own thoughts. An ear flicked at two old birds chattering up in a tree, not surprised that it was about him. And then he caught the name... "Taka." He looked up at Amari. "That help any?"

Laying down, the lioness lounged in the sunlight. Such a dark coat kept her warm at night, since it absorbed and held the heat from the sun. Which certainly explained her being a better fisher than hunter..

Kimaria
"Taka..." He repeated the name with a cant of his head, face filled with concentration as he delved into his memories, searching for a face that could match the name. He had met many lions in his time and hated them all apart from a small collection that he had grown closer to. "I'm sorry Danzi, I really can't remember meeting a lion of that name." He sighed, "the truth is I tend to steer clear from other males apart from a few I've grown close too." He raised a forepaw and ruffled the younger's mane playfully. "I'm sure someone must have heard of him though, I'll ask around for you too if you want."

Andrani
The juvenile smiled a bit. "Thanks..." He blinked as a fly landed on his nose, swatting at it with his paw.

Lethrossen
Asi slipped down toward the water, noticing that Ari was alone. He was thinking over Ishara's actions, wondering why all these females were so damn weird, and she was by far the weirdest. When he got to the water he leaned down, drinking. "Thank yeh fer before." He murmered. Well, thanking other lions seemed to get easier and easier the more he did it.

"Yeh do be very quiet." He commented, smirking as he sat down, watching her.

KasaiLoki
The lioness was confused. "Thank you for....?" She hadn't done anything nice. Or...had she? Was the case of short term memory coming into view for this old lion. She shrugged. Ah well if it was. The lioness closed her eyes. "Yeah." She didn't state the reason why however. "Having fun with Ishara?" She lifted herself into a sitting posistion, glancing around at all the lions.

Lethrossen
He blinked, before she'd called Ishara away from him, if only for a little "For Ish-" He cut off a little, her last comment really annoying him, and he growled a little. "If yew 'ad some bloody lion all o'er yew, would yew be 'avin fun?" He asked quietly, brows raised. Well, she might be actually. Depends on how she views the other sex. She could be like Asi, completely uncomfortable with that idea; Amari, who seemed to be a little too comfortable; or somewhere inbetween.

KasaiLoki
The lioness shrugged again. "Depends on the lion, I'd have to say." Short answer. Of course she would probably act like Asi did if some strange lion started rubbing up against her. She smirked at his reaction. It was intentional, to make him angry. Though, it did amuse her slightly.

Lethrossen
He rolled his eye a little, one paw prodding at the warm water. His tail flicked a little, and he glanced over his shoulder to look at Amari, his eyes shutting half way. Ari's short answers weren't pleasing him too much, he wanted a conversation. Something he hardly ever craved.

He sighed a little, sinking to his belly, watching the ripples his paw was making on the waters surface. "Oh do it? I do be sure yew migh' be a bi' uneasy if some 'un yer jus' met wen' all lovey-dovie on yew." That was a funny word to use.

KasaiLoki
"Uh---Asi....Are you alright?" She had to ask! He was acting...strange. "Probably. But eh. It's never happened to me before so I can't really say. I guess I'll just have to agree with you." She smirked. "Though, it is quite a show to watch you squirm near that lioness." She said quietly, stifling a giggle.

Lethrossen
Great. He had to act some certain way, otherwhise something was not right. He sighed a little, pressing his paw a bit hard into the water and creating a splash. Choosing not to answer her question he glared a bit. "Oh, I do be glad it amused yew." He rolled his eyes a little, tail flicking faster.

It might be something amusing to watching. But it certainly wasn't fun having it happen to you, even if Ishara's intentions had been good. "I say females can back off." He muttered, though Ishara had been the only one ever to try and.. advance on him, shall we say?

KasaiLoki
When his paw hit the water, the small splashes had hit her. Eh she didn't feel like getting wet, so she moved away from the coffee colored lion in the watering hole. "Aww..But not all females are that bad now, are they?" She asked, pierce blue eyes glancing up curiously at Asi.

Lethrossen
He blinked, looking up and meeting her wonderful blue gaze with is own, not so interesting eyes. "all the other females I 'ave met Do no throw themselves at me. Though I migh' take Ishara's company o'er Bakhti's.." He snickered a bit, as if this was some big insult to Bakhti.

"I guess some do be alrigh' " he muttered, glancing away finally.

KasaiLoki
Ari shrugged. "I don't think I've ever met Bakhti before. I take it you don't get along with her? What? Does she cling to you like Ishara does?" Once again, she stifled a giggle. It was a funny scene! How could you not help but laugh. 'I bet once he gets older he'll be laughing at it too.'

She grinned. "See. That wasn't so hard to say now was it?"

Lethrossen
He gawked at Ari, growling "If Bakhti e'er tried annee o' tha' I would murder myself." He sneered, shaking his head a bit. "No, it do be no 'ard te say, I guess." He murmered more, sighing a bit.

KasaiLoki
Those blue eyes widened. Okay next subject. Then again, "Ah...So you don't like her because of some other thing. Ah, understood." She grinned sheeplisly before frowning. She heard that sigh. "Whats up with you?" She asked, tilting her head.

Lethrossen
At her question his fur began to rise up, eyes narrowing. "Nothin'." He muttered, shifting and sitting up, looking away so he wouldn't have to watch her. "Nothin' be the matter." What an obvious lie, completely obvious. He just felt.. not himself. And he sort of liked it.. but then again he was confused, scared, and pissy that he wasn't behaving as he usually did. But why share his problems?

KasaiLoki
"For some nothing you sure are acting as it is a whole lot of something." She nodded, liking that little rhyme. "And I take it you don't want to talk about this nothing because then it could turn into something later on?" She didn't even know if that made sense. Oh well. Asi would probably understand it. Probably being an understatment.

Lethrossen
He blinked, making a face. "er.. turn inter somethin' la'er? Maybe. I do no know." He shrugged and muttered more things under his breath, sighing. "I.. jus' feel.. strange." He murmered, finally offering a little.

KasaiLoki
Ari shook her head. "I'm sorry." Why was she apologizing? She didn't do anything wrong. At least she didn't think so. Now she was acting strange! Oi, not fun. "Strange as in....?" She prodded at him. She was curious, who could blame her? She was a feline and everyone knows the statement 'Curiousity killed that cat.'

Lethrossen
He couldn't get why she couldn't just leave it alone. "Strange as in I do no feel righ'." He muttered, being a smart a**. He glanced sideways at her, thinking about him being nice as a lion the more he hung around her. Which it wasn't fair to blame it on her, but he did in his mind.

KasaiLoki
"Whatever." She mumbled getting up. She looked around, noting that they were still near the jungle. Like hell if she was going to go back there. She began to move towards the pridelands. Her home was near there on the edge of the rogue land boundary.

Lethrossen
He huffed, watching her start to leave. It was almost amusing, they always ended up parting in a little tizzy. His tail flicked, eyes narrowing a bit. He glanced back to the water, glaring at his reflection.

The glare softened a little, though, as he began to really study what he looked like. He wasn't admiring himself, never, just trying to see himself as others saw him.
