Name: Misha Edward Grayson Driscol Nickname: Mish Age: 19 Birthday: May 9, 1993 Sign: Taurus Gemstone: Emerald Blood Type: AB+ Fav. Food: Asparagas Hated Food: Anything canned or jarred. School: DCU Hobbies:Plushies: These things are both the bane of Misha’s existence and his reason for living. The boy just can't resist the fluffy cuteness of all things soft and cuddly. In the old house, Misha had a room allocated specifically for his soft friends. In this new house he has been afforded the same luxury. A room in the basement has been reserved specifically for the stuffed animals and the white day bed most of them sat on. The room, otherwise, looks like his other room. Sage walls, beige carpeting, and dark wood furniture. The door remains locked at all times, even when Misha is inside. This is used to keep the rest of the world from knowing his secret. Like a drug addiction or obsessive gambling, Misha feels as though he must keep this obsession a secret from the world. Even when he is buying new stuffed animals, he goes out of town to do so. If it’s an impulse buy, if anyone asks, it’s for his stupid sister. He even offers the explanation when no one asks. He loves all of his plushies, but no one can know about them. Micah has often made fun of him for his obsession, being the one one of his peer group who knows about this obsession. The question she often asks is "why plushies, Mish? Why not something else?" Misha can't really answer that question. Maybe it's the softness of the toys, or something effeminate in his personality that longs to be expressed. Whatever the reason, Misha both doesn't know and doesn't care. The point is that it makes him happy, and that's good enough for him. Minecraft: Along the same bane as his plushies, Misha will deny his obsession with minecraft until he is blue in the face. However, he does spend more time than maybe need be in game. Once, he hollowed out a whole mountain. As in he took it down to the dirt shell, and then lined it with wood planking. He called it Erebor and it’s now his mountain fortress. Why? Because he wanted to! And even with all that time spent and all that effort exerted, he still denies how much he actually cares about it. “I just do this for kicks, man. This is nothing.” If he’s minecrafting, the only thing that can stop him is the urge to hop online and go trolling. Gaming: Misha isn’t nearly as ashamed of his gaming prowess as he is of his minecrafting. In fact, quite the opposite. He lords over each achievement unlocked, brags about his kill rate, and boasts how fast he can play through a story game. His favorites are puzzle games, like Portal and Quantum Conundrum. Really, anything with a good story will adhere him to the screen. His least favorites, however, are those shooting disasters, like Gears of War and Call of Duty. He just doesn’t see the point. Plus he sort of hates all of the idiots who stumble on line and either don’t know what they are doing or can’t handle themselves in an adult manner. Misha will kill you and walk away, he won’t waste time dancing around your corpse like other middle school idiots. Virtues:Chill: It is sort of hard to get Misha riled up about anything. Granted, he does have a few glaring red buttons; his sister (either just her being an annoying little brat or someone antagonizing her), prolonged exposure to something undesirable (and we’re talking like… years. So if Misha was forced to befriend someone he didn’t he’d be chill until somewhere down a year later), and outward cruelty. But other than that, unplug his games, sit on him, call him names, take his food, “It’s kay.” Detail Oriented: While his sister sees the big picture, Misha has a tendency to focus on the smaller facets of an issue. He wants to know every single detail of whatever he's faced with. Every in and out, every pitfall and advantage, everything. That has helped Misha in school by making him an attentive student, but he doesn't really consider that a real accomplishment. His real pride is being able to adapt that affinity for details to his social life. Misha has be come very good at reading people based on little details of their personalities. He'll notice how they take their coffee or how they stand when they aren't at attention. People seem to like this attention to detail, feeling like their relationship with him is personalized. This has the tendency to build stronger alliances and friendships. Kind: Misha’s chill mood also carries over to how he treats others. Because he is so laid back, Misha is also exceptionally kind. He always has a smile and something warm to say to someone. Especially those he cares for. Once Misha gave a stranger the shirt off of his actual real life back because it was raining like someone just turned a hose on the city, and the stranger didn’t have an umberella. Sure, Misha was cold, but it was worth it, because now that gentleman was dry. It’s to the point where he can’t even be normal mean to his friends. He called them idiots in jest and then spends the next half hour apologizing and may even buy them something to make up for it if given the opportunity. Man of Action: Don’t get too excited, this isn’t what it sounds like. Mostly, when Misha gets a plan in his head, he goes out and he gets things accomplished. Give this man a cause or a project and watch it get done at record speed. This goes the same for people he deems worthy of his effort too. If someone comes to him with a problem, he’ll do everything in his power to fix it for them. He’ll advise them, listen to them, and even be a punching bag for them; anything to see them smile. Heaven forbid someone need a favor too. Misha will go to the ends of the earth to get that favor done. Just… make sure you make yourself and clear as possible when you ask things of him. Otherwise he’ll get lost in the details Flaws:Lost in the Details: THERE ARE SO MANY QUESTS. Misha can get a little caught up in the details and forget to see the big picture. So say someone asked him to go out and grab them a screw driver. Phillips or flat? What color? How long do you need it? What brand do you prefer? If someone isn’t 100% clear with Misha then nothing will get done. They have to specify “Philips head, six inch long screw driver. Preferably such and such brand but if they don’t have it then whatever is cheapest. The color doesn’t matter.” When it comes to helping people, Misha may get so caught up in the symptoms that he’ll forget to address the cause. He might advise that friend with depression to focus on the shining attributes they have to drown out the little voices that whisper faults. He’d suggest taking up a hobby to try and keep them from sinking into depression. Little things to stave off the bouts of depression, but he’d never notice that the source is really the fact that their parents are so dismissive that the friend no longer feels anything is worth it. Overly Chill / Lazy: If Misha isn’t excited about a project he’ll just ignore it. Clean the bathroom? Yeah, that’s not happening. I’ve got to save Hyrule for the 11th time. He also isn't going to be the one to go the extra mile unless he has a really good reason to. Otherwise he'll just lay there and either wait for it to happen by itself to rationalize his not doing it in the first place. And if he can't do that, then he just puts the whole thing out of his mind. It never existed in the first place. If, by chance, someone calls him out on not doing something he promised he'd do, Misha will lie about it. "You never told me" is a favorite, but "I forgot" is a solid standby. Bit of a Door Mat: Misha's laziness extends far beyond his actions into pretty much the rest of his life. If it is easier to just roll over and take something than it is to fight it then he probably will. In fact, he will. Misha will always roll over and take whatever it happening to him. This can mean he'll take a verbal beating or a physical one, just so long as he can avoid too much conflict. That being said, the one exception to this rule is if someone he deeply cares for is in danger or asks him to fight for or along side them. At that point Misha will eliminate armies and burn planets. Polarized: Misha is either go go go, or he is sedentary for days at a time. There is no in between, and it varies moment by moment. If, at any point in time, Misha grows tired of something he was previously working on, he quits. Or, if something he at one point had no interest in becomes interesting, he'll pick it up right away and throw himself into it. There are even times when Misha pops in at out of something several times before he drops it forever or finishes it. This natures makes him extremely hard to motivate, since a delicate balance must be struck between interesting and overstimulating. : PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Pretty much like his twin, except that he has a smattering of freckles across his nose which are the bane of his existence. Also this hair

Heya Sweenys! In my honest opinion, for the attacks, I really don't feel like healing is the right idea if you want a secondary effect (I'm not even sure if those are allowed XDD). I've always associated pyramids with tombs, death, afterlife... I understand the possible 'preservation' part, and know how healing could work, but it still seems odd and for some reason, doesn't feel like it does the sphere of 'pyramids' justice. Probably because in a tomb the pharaoh was already dead and didn't need healing >3< The pyramids were to store riches that were supposed to be with them in the afterlife. I read on a website that it's "The pyramid wasn't just a symbol of regal power, but a visible link between earth and heaven." On the website, it also said that the pyramids used to be smooth and covered with something else as well as possibly gold cap, so why not try to work with that? Something so wondrous that would 'blind' an opponent for a few seconds as well as defend? Or maybe... Since the pyramids and many different paths and hidden/false chambers, maybe Tegmine could have an invisible force that redirects attack away from them? First attack could be that he could redirect it only away from him, second attack away from any ally? What about the difficulties of it's construction? @w@? Using big stone 'blocks' as a defense or energy based blocks that roll on wood to attack enemies... Ouuh~ Another thing that might be interesting to use: "Some have suggested that the pyramid was never meant as a tomb, but as an astronomical observatory. The Roman author Proclus, in fact, states that before the pyramid was completed it did serve in this function. We can't put too much weight on Proclus words, though, remembering that when he advanced his theory the pyramid was already over 2000 years old. " IDEAS TOTALLY CAME FROM THE WEBSITE AS I READ UP ON IT... LOL.But yeah~ Just totally throwing out more ideas for attacks (:

I actually like the redirection idea a lot. I really can't believe I forgot about that, actually. I'm just a little worried about his being over powered... I really want to keep the structure of the pyramid, but now I really wanna incorporate the redirection, or even the distraction, in the basic and super senshi stages.

Civilian side is up first~
Hobbies:
I think the Plushies hobby is really interesting, and I like that he has such a love/hate relationship with them (in that he's obsessed but doesn't want anyone to know about it). While I think you have a really well-rounded explanation of the hobby itself, I think that some reasoning behind it, the WHY is really important to have as well. Why is he so obsessed with plushies? Did something spark it as a child? Does he have an insecurity that only plushies can get rid of? Do the plushies he buys have any meaning, does he choose specific ones, or are they all random? I feel like you just make a point of how huge his collection is without at whys behind it.
I really enjoy the internet trolling hobby, as I myself have a character that was very internet-based. XD I like that you explained what he does and why he does it (just for funsies, basically) and I feel like it's well thought-out and will be fun to play in solos. I think his Grooming hobby (while it's more of a lifestyle than a hobby, I think) is well written as well.
While you have the hobby of strolling, I really feel like all of Alexij's hobbies are things he does by himself. Does he ever talk to people while he's out on his walks? Does he just shove some headphones in his ears and tone out the entire world- just getting the walk over-with?
Virtues:
Intelligent - I think it's great that he's really smart and I love how you incorporated his ability to be the perfect troll into this virtue. Does he only use his intelligence for putting others down on the internet, however? I feel like if this is going to be one of his virtues, you should include reasons on how it positively affects both himself and how it will affect other characters. As a Senshi, will he use his intelligence to do good? Does he ever help people with their homework?
Level Headed - For the most part, this virtue is perfect. The only thing that confuses me is that you say it often times puts him in positions of leadership, which he is fine with... And yet he's isolated and doesn't like people besides his sister, and lacks confidence?
Calculating - Looks good to me~
Debonair - Also looks good.
Flaws:
Isolated - I'm really confused by this flaw. If he's so intelligent and level-headed, why would someone not falling for his charms suddenly throw him into a bottomless pit of depression? I get that his Debonair virtue is a front, but from what you read in the top half of his profile, him having zero self-confidence really doesn't make much sense to me. I also feel like this flaw is reading more like Lack of Confidence than it does Isolated. It's all about a crippling depression and lack of feeling good about himself, not so much about choosing to be alone. It's the only thing about his profile that really doesn't work with the rest of it, imo.
Overly Cautious - Works well with his Calculating and Intelligence virtues. Does this flaw affect other people, or only himself?
Paranoid - I think this flaw can be very easily blended with his "Isolated" flaw and can be changed into some sort of zero confidence/self-loathing flaw instead. But I think if you're going to make him this character with such inner turmoil about himself, you need to reconsider some of his virtues- most level-headed, brilliantly smart people can reason around the fact that people likely aren't talking smack about them.
Conceited - I like this one~
Okay so before I move onto powered... I am gonna add a tl;dr for the virtues/flaws: I feel like this character is super conflicting in that he's this gorgeous, brilliant, cocky guy... And yet he can't at all reason around people whispering, etc. I get that he can't be this perfect man and not have any flaws, I just feel like they don't particularly balance each other out. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand being cocky to overcompensate for having low self-esteem. But if he's so intelligent and level-headed that those are his outstanding virtues, in my head, that level-headedness would stop him from this crazy spiral of self-loathing and depression.
If I'm reading into this in completely the wrong way, please just explain it to me. XDDD
NOW ONTO THE SENSHI!
I think the Pyramids is a badass sphere, just sayin' 8D
Attacks~
1st Stage: "The spell lasts about thirty seconds and can be cast again in three minutes. Tegmine can only attack with this three times." Consider the fact that most battles last 5 minutes. If this spell lasts for 30 seconds and can't be cast again for another 3 minutes, you're at 3.5mins, with 1.5 minutes left in the battle... So it's not very likely that he'll be casting it again at all. When you're in the heat of battle, 30 seconds will seem like a really long time to be sitting there with no fighting going on. I'd consider either lessening his time in the pyramid, or lessening how often he gets to use it. Besides that, I like the idea! Is the distraction just that the gold tip is shiny? XD
2nd Stage: See above re: timing. A whole minute with nothing going on? That, along with 3 minutes of cooldown, and your battle is almost over. I think having double the length of time + saving a team member + being able to do it 3 times a battle + blinding anyone on the field is a little bit OP. And at this point, the gold cap isn't a distraction anymore as you said it's blinding. So now it's become offensive and defensive and super long all in one. Maybe drop it back down to 30 seconds on a teammate + distraction (people feel compelled to look at it because it's one of the Wonders of the world, it's shiny, whatever) rather than being super long and actually blinding to look at.
3rd Stage: Again, a minute and a half is a long time for a 5 minute battle. Also, I think in the Uses isn't fully typed out? Is the pyramid gone all together? Is his power that when someone uses their magic he can stop it and redirect elsewhere? "However, just like he now has the ability to redirect an attack coming at him, like boobie traps redirect tomb robbers." ?? It just seems like an incomplete sentence and it confused me hahaha.
I think that his attacks are all really solid ideas, they just need some timing consideration and they'll be good to go.
I'M SORRY THIS IS SO LONG! @_@

Sort of like how you can't explain your favorite color, Alexij can't explain his obsession. But I did put that in the description, so I hope that helped. While you have the hobby of strolling, I really feel like all of Alexij's hobbies are things he does by himself. Does he ever talk to people while he's out on his walks? Does he just shove some headphones in his ears and tone out the entire world- just getting the walk over-with? And yet he's isolated and doesn't like people besides his sister, and lacks confidence? Quote: I also tied this back into Alexij's confidence, using that was a driving force for his actions. . Flaws:Isolated - I'm really confused by this flaw. If he's so intelligent and level-headed, why would someone not falling for his charms suddenly throw him into a bottomless pit of depression? Overly Cautious - Works well with his Calculating and Intelligence virtues. Does this flaw affect other people, or only himself? Quote: I related this back to Alexij's lack of allies citing this as a reason for it. Quote: Nixed. I don't know why I even added this. Looking back it makes no sense. Instead I made him socially awkward. Attacks~1st Stage: "The spell lasts about thirty seconds and can be cast again in three minutes. Tegmine can only attack with this three times." Consider the fact that most battles last 5 minutes. Quote: No I most certainly didn't get distracted while writing that attack and forgot to finish that sentence... what? I also clarified that there is no pyramid.

I think you're selling yourself short with a 5 second long attack XD I'd personally go with 10 seconds first attack, 15 seconds second attack so that it's a fair amount of time to actually be effective. <3 All the other changes are perfect! I just don't want you to have something too short/under-powered.

Hey Sweeny, I'm here to look at your quest.
Personality - I don't think it was your intention to do it, but unfortunately the way Alexij is written now, he fits into a certain category that we don't usually accept/allow, known as the 'chess master'. He is incredibly intelligent, seemingly with any and all topics. He's the ultimate insulter/troll. In his level headed you actually state that he never loses his cool (unless with his sister, which really isn't a trade off since it's your own character) and so therefore always holds the edge over people. He's calculating and knows how to act only when it benefits him. And he's charming.
All of these things, as they are currently written, have created a character that will.. basically always win, which is in a way god modding by completely disregarding the other person's personality or attempts. This kind of character is frusterating and often no fun at all for other people to play with and too easily holds the upperhand in everything. Especially since his flaws in no way equal out to the amount of strength in his virtues.
That said, if you choose to keep all of his virtues you are going to have to tone him down quite a lot. He can certainly be intellegent, but choose an area and don't expand it to everything. He can be hard to phase, but it's rather unfair and unrealistic to state that he will never ever lose his cool. Etc etc. You can also replace or change a couple virtues instead if you prefer.
Powers Distraction - This attack looks alright to me. It's basically a shield that also slightly distracts, which is okay. 3 feet seems awfully slim though, especially when it starts to shrink getting near the shoulder area, you can probably boost it to 4 foot wide and 8 tall.
Blindness - This power is also alright as long as the duration of the blinding is cut down (1 - 2 minutes tops). When you get flash blinded, which is pretty much what's happening, it doesn't actually extend for 3+ minutes. It's super strong for probably 30 seconds up to a minute and then begins to fade. Especially considering these are powered people who heal more quickly it doesn't make sense for it to be that long.
Redirection - I understand the direction you are trying to go with, but as it's currently written, it's just too big of a jump from his other attacks (It completely loses the pyramid, completely changes the aspect of the sphere you were working with, and swaps from defensive to offensive, which we don't really like to see unless it REALLY fits). I do have a suggestion though!
How about with this attack he basically casts the pyramid he's been casting on himself onto an enemy (for 30 to 40 seconds). It works as a shield technically, but more accurately it's a momentary cage for the enemy. Also to play with the redirection I think it would be alright that IF the enemy tries to use magic to get out of the pyramid, their magic attack would basically bounce off the walls back at them.
