Okay folks, here we go. For most of the month I've been considering taking up a sketch challenge because I haven't drawn anything other than a few C*cktails recently - thus you might benefit (???) from my attempt to keep my hand in the game instead of wasting away! After a while of looking through themed challenges, it seemed more fun to follow a clever suggestion: the subjects are provided by you! [My friends! Uh, I hope?]
It's going to be my sketch practice so uh, don't get excited or anything, but the results may be something fun for you to put somewhere. smile
TAKING 5 NAMES FOR FREE SKETCHES HERE
I'm taking 5 each at HyTech, Phony, C*cktail, & Matope - it doesn't matter where you grab your slot.
What you'll get:
- A...sketch thing! May vary from head/bust/full, from pencil [with blue under] to ink, but definitely NO finished colours.
- Yup.
ETA: I may use photo refs if I'm doing pose practice.
What you can do:
- First-come-first-served - each person can only claim ONE slot on either Jun's or my list, not both.
- QUOTE** me and give me ONE subject with ref pic(s) & ONE keyword [can be mood (eg. happy), or descriptive (eg. classy)]
- It's better if the subject is your pet. If you really want art for something else [eg. avi, OC], I need clear refs.
- No fandom stuff. OCs based in a wide universe are OK, canon characters are no go. Best to keep to your pets please.
- Everything will be humanoid, Phonies/kimeti will be converted. Include humanoid refs if you want!
- ESSENTIALLY: Keep it simple and/or specify, or I'll do whatever I want.
- If you missed this in whichever thread and actually desire a slot, you can probably wander over to C*cktail
(I don't think there're enough people in there to fill up 10 between the two of us who aren't already in HyTech and/or Phony.)
What will happen:
- Sometime during the month I will do this sketch
- I'll scan it and drop it off with a quote.
- We may do it again, we'll see.
You don't have to start clamouring or anything, Jun's going to post right after me, so save the rioting for him! Day 5: 5/1/12 Nao's awesome Naoki! I know very little about the Alchemy class, but she's supposed to be able to craft some sort of bomb? Or acid thinger-thing? lol Whatever it is, she's about to throw it! Hope you like!
