
Two, it was shiny. Of course, Chloros would never admit to liking gold because it was shiny, but the Kalona just couldnt help it. He loved things that shined and glinted in the sunlight. Much like ravens did. The stallion smirked, remembering an afternoon when a Soquili and jested about the fact that a liking of shiny things was a mare's trait. Chloros had eaten him for lunch.
Finally, gold was plentiful. Rare enough to make it valuable, but it was strewn across the Soquili lands in enough quantity to make it relatively easy enough to seek out and take. Jewels were all well and good, but they took a considerable amount of effort to find. Yes, Chloros would stick to his gold.
He jingled the small bag he held in his teeth as he walked. The bag contained two gold bracelets and beautiful necklace adorned with rubies. They had been stolen off of some mare Chloros had been stalking for the past few days. Needless to say the mare had been disposed of. Right now, the Kalona was making his way to one of his hordes. He would drop the bracelets off, then take the necklace to a secret storehouse where he kept the most valuable of items. It was a pleasant day indeed.
