Name: Billy Cameron Roadinger
Nicknames: None
Age: 18
Birthday: October 23rd
Sign: Scorpio
Blood Type: B-
Fav. Food: Burgers and fries.
Hated Food: Olives and pickles.
Gemstone: Rose Quartz

School: Attending an out of town college

Hobbies:

  • Painting - A long time hobby of his, Billy does airbrush painting on fabric canvases. He took up the art from a young age and once had hopes to make a career our of his art. he no longer harbors such fancies, but continues to paint because it is something he loves.
  • Clubbing - Billy has taken to visiting night clubs occasionally whether it be for work or his own leisure. More often than not it is for work, but he does enjoy the environment, and has developed a fondness for it.
  • He's a Brony - Not so much a hobby as an interest, though it is something he enjoys talking about with others, which is a scary thing in and of itself... If nothing else, it gets him some desperately needed social interaction.
  • Caring for his Ferret - Billy acquired a pet ferret named Sammy. She has become a little ray of sunlight in his life, and he enjoys playing with her and caring for her. Caring for his pet is one of the few true joys in his life, and something he looks forward to every day.

Virtues:

  • Forbearing - The state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way. Billy grew up amongst...difficult circumstances, so it makes since that he would grow up able to endure such..thrive even! He is able to keep calm and level headed in most high pressure situations when many would fall apart. The thriving comes in when he uses his calm to raise up and take control of the situation if given the chance. His ability to maintain his head means he is often able to plan and plot a way to deal with the situation before him. It's only usually when he tries to give that input or deliver that plan that he can get himself in trouble

  • Dutiful and Loyal - Billy isn't the type to procrastinate or handwave his duties. In fact, he is a well organized hard worker. He works hardest for the praise and recognitions of his superiors. Failure makes him bitter and angry, but also makes his work harder - some might say with a vengeance. However, he doesn't just exude a strong sense of duty to his work, but to those closest to him, granted those are few in number. For them he'll put aside his pride and play guardian, knight, nurse or maid if he has to.

  • Open to Change - Billy is working hard to become a better person. He still has a hard time being humble or accepting when he might be wrong, but he is making an effort. He always thought of himself as better than everyone, but now he knows that it was all a facade, and has now opened himself to truly changing and becoming the pure embodiment of awesomeness he thought he was. Thus, he has been making the effort to adopt more of a considerate, attitude towards others, although he has to constantly remind himself of it, it is definitively one of the better improvements he is making to his life. He is more careful now in how he looks at others and the decisions he makes about them, as well as how he treats them.

Flaws:

  • Arrogant Pride - Billy's arrogance still has a hold on him, no matter how much he tries to change. It is always there trying to trip him up and sabotage his efforts. The old dented and broken shield of pride often gets thrown up as a default reaction unless or until he realizes he is doing it, in which case he does make the effort to be more humble or whatever the case may be, but it leaves a bitter taste in his mouth, as being seen as 'elite' or 'the best of the best' is still very important to him. Being humiliated is a surefire way to set him in to the worst of moods.

  • Need for Control - Billy hates not being 'in control' of a situation. That's not to say he wants to be a leader - he doesn't - but he absolutely hates to have no control or say in matters. He likes to know that his voice is heard and considered, and to at least think that it has some weight or baring on how things go. When he doesn't have this least little bit of control, he tends to get pissy and more assertive, outspoken and rebellious which can land him in hot water.

  • Lewd - Billy's sense of humor tends to fall in to this category. Crude, dirty, often mocking or putting emphasis on someone else's flaws~ Not many can appreciate that kind of humor and just roll with the punches. This facet of his personality can often be off-putting and lead others to avoid him or think less of him. It can start arguments and unintentionally offend, or intentionally if he is feeling really spiteful. Billy isn't above hitting below the belt, verbally.

!!

Negaverse Alias: Captain Bismuthite

Challenge: The west wasn't wild until I arrived.

Uniform: Sticking with the cowboy theme with military elements. Gray-ish dominate color with pink piping. There will be chaps. 8D

Weapon -- His current weapon is an airbrushing gun that spews something akin to pepper spray.
His General weapon is going to be a foot/foot and a half, broad, blade with a gun-like handle (no gun capabilities or magic, is relatively heavy, making it somewhat difficult to handle.)

Hey Yuna! Sorry on the delay in getting out these revision responses! Hope they help!

The Bitter Taste of Humble Pie and Struggle to Adapt flaws do not read as flaws to me. They both signal that Billy is trying to make changes in his life to be a better person - which sounds more virtuous to me than anything. Furthermore, they also read more as "things Billy is working on" or plot points rather than personality flaws.

I would remove these two flaws and replace them with a virtue about his willingness to make self-improvements. This should not just focus on the current strides he is making, but a virtue that is applicable for future development as well.

That said, removing two flaws to convert them into a virtue would leave you with an imblanaced number. I think that his Arrogant flaw appears to still exist even if it is something that he is trying to work on. Do his old Attention-Span and Deceiving flaws still stand true to the character? If so, they can be added as well to complete the form.

If you have any questions or are ready to be looked at again, please quote me!

Silent Spy

Thanks! I don't mind the wait. And I've changed things around - I moved the two flaws you suggested to the virtues section under the heading 'Open to Change.'
I also added back in his arrogant flaw, only with a different description that fits him better. I did away with his attention span flaw as....re reading it it didn't seem like much of a flaw AND I didn't really ever get played. Deceiving I scrapped as it would be something he'd be trying to stop doing, and I thought of rewording it but everything I came up with made it sound more like a virtue, and goodness knows I have plenty of those now. XD
SOOOOO~ I added in a flaw that actually has come in to play once or twice now that really does fit his personality, and that is the 'Need for Control' flaw. This can be seen to happen when he joined in Hematite's Merry Men and thus got sent through THE DOOR OF DOOM, and again with his breakup with Ladon.

I did kinda wonder if I should merge 'Open to Change' with 'Careful Judgement' ? That would make my flaw-virtue ratio 3-3, and the two also have a lot to do with one another, but I wasn't sure if they were different enough to still bear standing alone.

ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE

There needs to be an even number of virtues and flaws.

The Open to Change and Careful Judgement virtues are different enough where they can remain separated, but they do go together so it is possible to merge them, which may be wise as it would solve the imbalance issue of virtues and flaws.

Also, the Forbearing and Grumpy Guss traits seem to contradict. The virtue paints him as a very level-headed person who reacts well, whereas the flaw paints him as a character who falls into a foul mood quickly and then reacts poorly to others.

ON THE POWERED SIDE

As long as it has no gun capabilities, that blade may be fine as long as it isn't instantly-lethal. If you would, please just include a "Weapon" section at the bottom of the form in the next revision round for a more official approval, though.
