My marching band is going to Memphis, Tenessee today! biggrin We leave in just about four hours, and I'm so excited!!! We're playing at the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, and it's gonna be an awesome experience! We're also visiting Graceland, The Peabody Hotel (to see the ducks biggrin ) and we're marching on Beale Street!!!!! biggrin Anyone else excited for a trip, or already had theirs?

unfortunately, my days of band trips has passed me by already, but while you're in memphis, try to stop in and have dinner at the 'King's Grill' down on Beale St. it's some amazing food, and there's just about always some live music to set the mood just right. really, Beale st. is comprised almost entirely of shops aimed at memphis tourists and great places to hear great music. I'm sure that everybody in your band is going to enjoy it. let us know how things go!

I live in Memphis, and its fun....if you're a tourist, otherwise its pretty boring. But if you have the chance try to go to Kooky Kanooks(sp?) they are amazing!!

my marching band is going to miami florida for the orange bowl in a few days
i decided not to go for some reason... kinda regretting it
are you in the UC band?
