Tarik was creeping around in some brush stalking some meager animal who had been up in the night. His tail wanted to swish, but he was trying to exhibit more self control and not lose kills due to tail twitches making his hiding spots give him away. However, the next noise that caused the little animal to scurry away wasn't from him. He wondered what it was. As he crept through the leaves that shrouded the edges of the river, he discovered the source. He spotted a lionness a ways off. What was a lionness doing out all by herself? Was she another guardian? If she had been hunting, she wouldn't have just ran off the game like that. He thought to himself that maybe it would be nice to talk to someone. Sometimes the duties of being a guardian and hunting had him doing his duties alone. Most of the time he didn't mind, but being from a big family; he really did enjoy some camaraderie every now and then. He gently rose up and moved towards her.
