After a good night's rest, Matt cast a spell to send him into the underworld. "Alright, time to find out what this new great power is."

He wondered around for what seemed like hours. Once he found a demon he would torture him to get informatio, but not one seemed to know anything.

He finaly came upon one of his old demon contacts, Vepres, an old thorn demon.

"I see you decided to give your old friend a vist. Get to the chase! What do you need?"

"What, I cant come see my favorite thorn demon without wanting something?"


"Just get to the point."

"Fine." He moved closer, knowing there was someone listening close by. "There's a great power comming, and I know you know what it is."

"Hmm. I should have known that was what you wanted." She paused and took a seat. "I have grown weary of fighting off your kind. I am an old woman now. Cast a cloaking spell on me and I'll tell you everything you want to know."

"Fine." He chanted the best spell he could think of then cast a summoning spell to prove that it worked. "There. Happy?"

"Very."

"Well?! What do you know."

"Only that you do not have the power to beat him. He is strong. Stronger than anything I have ever seen. You will not be able to fight it alone."

"I assumed I couldnt beat it alone. I'm not that cocky, but who does have the power to vanquish him?"

"Only the fabled coven. The one of power that will rise up and tear down the shadows."

"But they are said to come when the world is completely covered in darkness, and as you may or may not know, the world aint half bad up there."

"Damn good world. My only regret is that I wont live to see the world ruled by evil...now go! Leave me. I have work to do, minions to organize."

With that, Matt stormed out. He kept searching through the underworld for more answers.

"Alright, we're here. Now we just have to find them." "DEMON!! Blow him up!! Blow him Up!!!" He was shouting franticly. One threw a fire ball at them and Matt deflected it back at the demon, causing him to burst into flames, but there where two more who were now smart enough not to do that.

Matt tried tk'ing one, but he kept shimmering away just in time.

Matt started screaming. There where too many of them. "Blow the damn things up!!"

He started turning towards the lowest leval demons he could pick out and started chanting. "With my power and with my might, I vanquish this evil from my sight!" It was slower than Blake's meathod, but it seemed to do the trick.

"Lets just run..." Matt grabbed Blake by the collar and took of, tk'ing energy and plasma balls out of the way as best he could.

((Did you get the impression that that was kinda supposed to be funny? I didnt know how to say it right. I was kinda thinking of how Phoebe gets into those realy funny panic attacks when attacked by demons sometimes. Oh well, I tried. sweatdrop gonk neutral ))

"I...I...whew, that was a long run...." He took a deep breate. "Man Im out of shape..." He took a few more deap breathes until he was calm again. "I think we got away."

He pulled out his cell phone and began scrying for Jen. ((What? He's rich. He can have a computer phone cant he? And its the kind of scrying Billy uses.))

He pointed down a long tunnel. "That'a way!"

His eye started twitching. "Stones? STONES!?!?! We're running from a hoard of angy demons and you pick up stones?! What is this world comming to?"

((Seriously, whats with the stones? lol))

"We're close. She should be in the next room. Wait! I can hear something..."

"All I have to do is wait until your little friends figure out you're missing and come runnin...right into my trap."

"What do we do?"

All blake could think of to get rid of the firestarter was
"With my power and with my might.
I banish this evil from my sight." he said it repeatedly and the firestarter blew up.

"Matt." he said taking off his jacket and beating Matt to extinguish the flames.

((The rocks are for a diversion, for when we find jen. Basically we throw the rocks behind the demons and when they turn around he attack.))

((Not really. Lets just say the firestarter was one that wasn't very strong, like he just got his power.))

"where to next?" he said looking at a fork in the corridor.
