 CUSTOM PROFILE CONTEST (click link to visit contest thread)[*The placement of this thread in the CODED Guild was approved by ShadyPrincess*]The Custom Profile Constest is located in the Profile Discussion Forum. It was established to reward the hard work put into creating some of the beautiful custom profiles you see on Gaia. Even though most of the profiles entered in the contest are stunning, there can normally only be three winners per round. So, to help me choose those three lucky users, I've asked Gaians to volunteer their time to be judges. Once accepted as a Judge, users are given a letter to identify them and they are asked to fill out a Ballot to give me their opinions on each profile. Below is an example of the current Ballot judges use in the contest to rate and give their opinions on each contestant's profile. The Ballot contains a list of questions that help Judges review and rate each contestant's profile. The link colors and the Status bars need to be changed to match. What is the one thing (or things) that you don't like about the layout? I was really dissappointed to find out that there wasn't much done with positioning as I originally thought. I was far more impressed before I realized that much of the positioning was done by just making one huge image with all the stuff static.

--If so, is it unique to the specific theme of the profile? Yes, it's Final Fantasy; though it's XIII and not X/X-2.
Please look at creativity:
--Are the "special effects" cool? There really aren't any.
--Are there little details that you notice that make the profile more creative? There aren't any that I can really see..
Please look at structure:
--Is the profile put together well, overall? I would have to say no.
--Does everything match, or are there things that clash with the overall theme? The picturs don't match too well, no, and there are too many of them.
--Does everything "flow" together? No, there are too many pictures in not enough space.
--Are the images too big, bunched together, or stretched? Yes; all the sections have picture backgrounds, which makes things repetative and hard to read, even.
What is one thing you would change? removing the backgrounds from the sections.
