Two hundred years have passed since the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and it is now the 201st year of the Fourth Era (4E 201). The High King of Skyrim has been assassinated, and the threat of civil war looms over the land of Skyrim; One side wishes to secede from the crumbling Empire, while the other wishes to remain a part of it, believing that it is still worth fighting for. To make matters worse, this schism is the final event in a prophecy foretold by the Elder Scrolls that will lead to the return of the dragons under Alduin, the Nordic god of destruction...what role will you play?

Start of the RP - City of Riverwood
Six in the morning, the sun just rose over the Throat of the World. Screams on panic fill the air as a dragon is seen attacking the small town of Riverwood. The guards have all died, and Whiterun is incapable of sending troops to fight the dragon.

Azen Battlemage Azen ran to the scene as he was part of the Imperial detachment stationed near Riverwood. He saw a citizen cowering and he unsheathed his sword, and readied Close Wounds on his free hand. He faced the dragon, and prepared for it's attacks.

Malfrost arrived on the scene riding his steed Shadowmere,"My my...what is this...." Malfrost rode hard towards the city, interested to see what would happen, and ready to preform his duty as a solider of the Empire if need be.

"Joor zah frul." A man dressed in the armor of the Blades ran towards the dragon. He unsheathed two of the swords unique to his order, except one of them was pulsating with a blue electrical tint. The dragon landed in front of the Imperial Soldier, Azen. "Run while you can."

"Fus Ro Dah!" Azen Shouted at the dragon that landed in front of him. He ignored the words of the man in weird armor, as the role of the Imperial Legion is to protect the citizens of the Empire.

"My my what is this! A fellow soldier and a man and weird armor fighting a dragon! I shall join you! Get him Shadowmere!" Malfrost unleashed his deadliest weapon..his horse, upon the dragon as he moved back, casting a massive wave of lightning at the dragon.

"I said stand back." Nero slashed cut the dragon with Dragonbane, injuring it immensely. He seemed skilled at fighting Dragons.

"FOR THE EMPEROR, CHARGE!" Azen cared not about the man's words, and swung his blade at the dragon. He managed to injure it's leg severely.

Nero jumped on the dragon's head and impaled both his swords into it's skull. The dragon fell, dead. "I told you two to stay back.." He removed his swords from the dragon's head and wiped them clean. "Where is the dovakiin when you need him."

"The Dovahkiin is probably with the Greybeards or whatever." Azen sheathed his sword, then looked around. "Without the Dragonborn, this dragon will come back to life. How will we dispose of it?"
