Likes: having new experiences, hanging out with her friends, her baby sister and brother, tho she will deny that, playing, flirting and being girly.
Dislikes: being told she's short, being bossed around by people who think they run her life.
Eyes: gold
Hair: light grey like her Daddy's with purple tips, slightly lighter shade than her mother's.
Skin Tone: violet on top, blue on bottom. Half-and-half of her parent's colors.
Markings: A large dark violet butterfly on her chest and tribal stripes on her legs.
Personality: Fun, flirty and kind. She loves to meet people and sometimes, a bit of her mother's influence creeps in and she forgets people have 'personal space'. She has a firey temper and when she's mad, she MAD. Luckily, it takes a lot to get her that way.
Weakness: She's naive and trusts everyone right off the bat.

  "This is my Daddy and Mom. They love me a lot, tho Daddy has recently gone psycho. He tried to scar me for life telling me horrible, horrible things about how babies are conceived! GROSS!
My mom is usually a sweetheart, but she's tough. She is I think the only one that make Daddy cry.
I've been told by a lot of people that I am definately a good mix of my folks. Once again, not sure if I should be offended. hehe " "This is my older bother Momo. He was dropped off as an egg one day by my mom's caretaker, Dia. A few days later, Mom found out she was pregnant. Funny how stuff happens sometimes. I rarely see him, so I don't know much about him. Daddy grumbles about him a lot tho." "This is my baby brother Lucius. He's cute and calm usually. Dad adores him like there's no tomorrow. I wonder what he'll be like?" "This is my baby sister, Lucia. She's Lucius' twin. From what I understand, its RARE for faeries to have twins, so Mom says they are little miracle babies. Also, they were BORN as babies with all their limbs! Talk about feeling cheated! I came out of an egg and was a lumpy blob! Daddy says its part of that evolution, and some of it rubbed off on me being that I'm stuck as a short adult.
And in case you are wondering, yes, my parents are silly. They couldn't have picked 2 more similar sounding names if they tried. Gonna get confusing I think when they get older. Maybe I will nickname Lucia or something... Cici?"

 "Rain : He's my best friend from when I was a kid. He makes rainbows and is so cool. He said he'd be brother and everything! But his Dad moved him away from Telrunya for a while when Thom left his mom. Rain has weird issues with his mother. I am not really sure what's up with that. He recently came back and he's a teenager like me! Cute too."============================================= "Jet : We played together when we were both kids. I had to kiss him under mistletoe during Christmas. He's blind, but still sees things. Its weird. He's a musical genious with his guitar too. Weird thing is, he's Rain's twin brother, but looks WAY older."============================================= "Luau Lulu : She lives on the Beach, I think she's Jet's cousin, I'm not sure how it quite works. She's a fun girl, can fall thru and walk thru things. I met her when I was a kid and she was a baby. Altho I haven't seen her, Jet says she's a full-grown adult now. However, before our rock climbing 'date' we ran into each other a party and apparently the punch was spiked and we got drunk. Daddy went psycho on him and beat him up, then I got grounded. Daddy threatened Jay saying he's not allowed to ever see me. So, I snuck out out because I didn't do anything wrong. Jay's a nice guy and I'm old enough to make my own decisions..."

No, not THAT kind of gift of tongues o_0;;
Joi's ability comes from her mother and lies in the realm of knowledge. Where her mother has the innate ability to read and understand any written language, no matter how ancient, Joi's ability lies with the verbal aspect.
She has the ability to speak and understand anything spoken, no matter the language. However, she cannot speak to animals or bugs or nature, only humanoid beings or those with the brain capacity to problem-solve.
Often times, she could be heard uttering child-like swears in long-forgotten languages when she would get frustrated as a child. Her mother and father just passed that off as the normal child-like cussing in a made up language.
As she gets older, she'll slowly start learning she has the amazing and unique ability to communicate with absolutely anyone.

2 - 21 - 06 ~ Joi shares her first kiss with Jay and spends the night on the top of a mountain with him. Nothing happened, they were just stuck there temporarily. Joi gets the punishment of a lifetime.
2 - 19 - 06 ~ Joi purposefully defies her parents by sneaking out to keep her 'date' with Jomund to go rock climbing.
2 - 18 - 06 ~ Joi meets Jomund; gets drunk for the first time at the Gaiaversary party; gets grounded.
2 - 16 - 06 ~ Joi grows into a teenager o_0 she hates the short jokes, and being treated like a kid.
2 - 14 - 06 ~ Her mom has twins. Double the disappointment, but she learns to like them.
2 - 13 - 06 ~ Joi adopts Rain as her new brother so her parents don't have to have a baby.
Rain moves to the mainland.
1 - 13 - 06 ~ Joi learns she is going to be a big sister. She is NOT pleased and begins her Terrible Toddler stage.
11 - 15 - 05 ~ Joi grows into a child!
6 - 09 - 05 ~ Joi arrives after a very quick and painless egg-laying experience with her mother.
