Lilika didn't leave the swamplands often but for some reason her inner self was making it a point to get her off the lands for the day. Staring off into the Rogue Lands for a moment before shrugging and heading off into the leaves that barricaded the swamps and rogue lands. She immediately could tell the difference of the ground. Swamp areas were softer and cushiony at times. Frowning at the differences Lilika tried to get her senses in order Lilika looked around the almost deserted area. A stray breeze came along and blew flowers from trees to the ground.
Pandra had never been away from her mama or papa before but she wanted to be a big brave girl to get some food for her siblings as well as her parents. Giggling and hopping around her home for a few minutes she almost got distracted by a butterfly therefore not completing her mission in finding food. Pink eyes took in her surroundings for a moment noticing her parents were down by the water to give some of her siblings a swimming lesson or bath. "Ummm, mama said 'ood somewhere ober der so I go do that!" Her cute squeaky voice rang out into the air before she shh'd herself not wanting to draw attention to her position.
Flicking her tail in disappointment, "I guess my hunch was wrong...pitty it usually isn't though I wonder what is up with that." Lilika mumbled quietly to herself while taking a break near a watering hole for a drink to appease her thirst. Her nose twitched at the feel of winter approaching in the air, looking around she noted the slowly dying plant life near to her left side. " I might as well do some hunting while I am here. I'm sure Bedioer will appreciate what I bring home...if I can find anything that is."
"You're my Honeybunch, Sugarplum~Pumpy-umpy-umpkin, You're my Sweetie Pie~You're my Cuppycake, Gumdrop~Snoogums-Boogums, You're the Apple of my Eye~" Pandra sang to herself and wiggled around to the bet inside her own head while looking around for some food. "Oh! Sumfin 'ere!" She stopped singing to wander close to a bush that held some sort of fruit. " Strawbabies!" She squealed with delight and leaned forward and started to nibble on some. She suddenly paused as a thought came into her head. She needed something to carry the berries on--a leaf! She ripped one off of a nearby bush before continuing to take the berries off the bush. She grunted as a particularly stubborn berry wouldn't come out and blinked as a pair of eyes blinked back at her.
Lilika was in luck, she had found a pair of rabbits nearby and was slowly stalking them getting ready for the kill. Wiggling her butt in preparation, she dug her claws into the earth about to pounce when suddenly a shriek pierced the air. Not only did it startle her but her now gone supper. Whirling around and ears up straight Lilika tried to find where the sound had come from, it wasn't long until another shriek hit the air causing Lilika's ears to pulled back at the loudness. Shaking off the sound Lilika bolting towards it...it sounded like a cub in trouble and she did not want to wait any longer. Breaking through the brush slightly out of the bush...boy did she need to get more exercise she almost missed the cub but a slight movement drew her gaze. "Whoa."
The eyes had startled Pandra so badly she screamed unconsciously for a moment with her eyes closed. It wasn't until a wet sensation on her cheek that cause her eyes to snap open to see that it was a wee baby animal giving her kisses. It was tickley too and it caused her to shriek again but this time with happiness as well as laughter. Sometime had passed before the sound of snapping twigs and harsh sounds broke Pandra away from her play time with her new friend. It was a lioness...a big pink one, her favourite color, and Pandra's eyes widen feeling scared. They stared at one another for a few minutes before Pandra screamed out, "STRANGER DANGER!"
Staring back at the little one, Lilika took her the little ones beautiful fur pattern. It was one in the likes she had never seen before and she was about to open her mouth in greeting when suddenly the cub started shrilling out words that were amusing but loud. " Please...please stop screaming." Lilika begged with her ears pinned back she didn't think roaring would help in this situation, it would make it worse. "A-are you lost?"
Her screaming turned to whimpering which turned into sniffles. It was the word 'lost' that grabbed her attention. "Lost? I no lost... home is right...there... well it was and now its not. Pandra don't wanna be alone!" She felt her eyes water a new at the thought of never seeing her family again. "Take me home sissy?"
Lilika sighed at the naivness of this cub but Pandra was lucky she ran into Lilika and not another feline or cannine for that matter. 'Sissy?' She mouthed silently and raised an eyebrow but shrugged before placing a paw on the cubs shoulders. " Don't worry Pandra, I am really good at tracking or finding others as I am a hunter back home." She smiled in amusement as she watched Pandra's face light up in awe and wonder then go back to distrust for a moment. " Come with me, I am Lilika, and we will find the right path to your home." She leaned down to smell the cub before sticking her nose in the air to see if she got any hits.
Slowly Pandra got up and followed the lioness a few steps behind. It seemed like forever and Pandra rolled her eyes a few times cause man that lioness sure was quiet. Lilacs and female hit her nose. "Mommy!" She squealed and quickly ran on chubby legs towards her parents who stood worriedly next to one another." Dada! Dar you is! I was lost and-and den Lili'ca founded me! Right Lil-" Pandra blinked as the one who took her home was gone before speaking the obvious. "She gone... Oh I met a friend a baby, can I have a baby? Babies are cute." She missed the twin sighs from her parents as she followed them home to rest.
END.
