It had been really long. It had been too long for the Fighter. Since the murder of his mother, though through necessary means and the over all lost of a Leader and their Emperor, The Assassin Captian had found it hard to focus greatly on anything.

In all that mixed worry was the fear for his closest friends, Jianyu and SiMa Li. Li was his most out right concern though, he hadn't talked to the girl since their mission.

But under it all. The worst of it all was that he hadn't seen Kyung, Hadn't heard from his love for days...weeks. It almost felt like Months. He had tried to go to the Kyung estate but.....with the war and the events that we're going on, he just wasn't able to sneak himself in. With their guard tightened, it was all the better.

"Kyung, My love..." He breathed in, sitting at the cherry tree hill and sadly looking at the burnt remnants of the former biggest landmark of the hill.

Having been away from the Imperial City for so long, the cobal Lunarian found himself having a hard time adjusting back to the bustling lifestyle he had once led. Suddenly, everything was too loud; there were no places for him to think and meditate, to recollect his thoughts.

In his desire to find himself a quiet spot, he eventually found himself wandering up that worn familiar path up to the city's once famed cherry tree hill. And suddenly, he found himself to be beset with emotion. The place held many memories for him, and each one was slowly ebbing back into his mind with each step forward. As he reached the clearing, he exhaled slowly upon seeing the charred remains of a once large and majestic tree. It was hard realizing that what had once been a focal point in many of his meetings with Huang was now gone.

Deep in his own musings, it wasn't until he heard his name being muttered that he realized he wasn't alone. Quickly, his eyes fell upon the figure sitting on the tree's charred remains, and the soul conduit found himself responding to the assassin's call. "Why do you call my name in such a sorrowful manner, Huang?"

He could feel his heart palpitate. How long had it been since he'd last seen the legionnaire? He had kept Huang in his thoughts, and he had even made plans to visit him. But, with all the chaos, he found it hard to make his way to the legionnaire's house. And as time passed, he found himself making excuses to stay away. Like, what is Huang was married or what if Huang had fallen sweet for another Lunarian?

Hand shaking lightly, he combed his fingers through Huang's short hair. "I'm sorry I've been away from you for so long." The male murmured.

Huang's hands continue to pat at the charred ground, palms soaked in coal like remains as he brought it up to stare at it. It seemed just yesterday, he had met Kyung here, He had so many fond memories here.

His head snapped up though at the response, a voice he yearned to hear filled his ears as he laid eyes on the most beautiful and tragic sight he had seen so far. So shocked was he, that he didn't make a move to get up and just stared, burgundy eyes to cobalt blue.

His touch was even more tragic as Huang leaned his head into it, his face turn to the boy's palm before his own hand came to snag the wrist. He knew it was Kyung, he could smell the boy's scent. He looked different though, old and much more wiser. Huang felt odd, all he wanted to do was burrow himself in his lover's hair, to inhale his scent into his body and absorb it for himself but...

He wasn't sure what to do. Since his mother's death, he had been wary of nobles, even more so now that their we're many targeting and making their moves with the emperor's death. A part of him, a part that he had once that he overcome rose with such biting ferocity that he had to avert his eyes from holding the soul conduit's anymore. Guilt, fear, rage and everything he had pent up in the last couple of months boiled under his calm and aloof demeanor.

"There is no need to apologize Kyung." Huang let the boy's hand go and moved his head away, overcome with too many emotions, attempting to silence them all lest he break under their force, "A lot has happened since we had last seen each other." His face remained stern, as he looked to the ground that he had been so busily gripping. His had free from Kyung was black with the Tree's remains that he could only stare at it.

"Did...." you miss me like I missed you? Leave me because I tired you? Because I was Legion? Huang couldn't bear to ask. In a way, Huang was reverting to his former self, before he met Jianyu and Kyung, before he learned that it was okay for things to be felt. He was reverting to the Huang that couldn't feel anything again, bottling it all up inside. He feared to hear Kyung's answer.

He could feel the emotional tension building in the air, threatening to break with every breath the two took. But perhaps, it was Huang's sudden movement of turning around and letting his hand go that scared him the most. Hurt the most. He should've anticipated it. Pulling his hand back, the soul conduit averted his gaze to the ground. This wasn't what he wanted, but certainly he had an inkling that something like this would have happened.

After all, everyone gets tired of chasing in the end. Nevertheless, it was terribly ironic that Huang's affection would fall out for him, just as his for the legionnaire were beginning to grow.

But, upon hearing the Legionnaire's words, Kyung's expression changed. In the few moments he had spent with Huang, he had come to be able to read the Legionnaire quite well. And despite Huang's attempt to remain stoic, he could pick up undertones of stress, worry, fear and confusion in the male's voice. "I wasn't aware... I only recently returned to the Imperial City. But, whatever has happened must have affected you deeply, changed you." It took a moment for the Noble to realize what he just said, but when he did, he flushed.

"I apologize, I did not mean that. It just slipped out." This was unlike him. Kyung was used to being the composed one, and yet, whenever he was with Huang, he always seemed to lose his cool and reserve.

Eyes watching Huang, he couldn't help but notice how the assassin seemed so attached to the tree's charred remains. "Do you remember? When we were not much younger, we used to sit on opposite sides of the tree and tell each other about our day? It was a much simpler time then." Taking a seat on the ground, so that his back was turn to Huang, the Noble retainer took a moment to situate himself before speaking again. "When my father sent me to the temple in fear of my safety, I... I could only think about you. Every morning, every time I was awake, I couldn't help but wonder if you were still alive. What would Huang be doing now? I would ask myself, and then I would imagine what it would be like if I were back in the Imperial City with you."

He could feel the tension growing worse, and suddenly, he had enough. He was a coward, and he wasn't going to stay here for this. He didn't want to know what Huang though or how the legionnaire was going to respond for that matter. "I should probably take my leave now, it is getting dark and this area is not exactly the safest. Be safe, my friend." He stood up, taking a moment to brush the dirt and soot off his clothes.

To say in the least, The Legion was confused by what was happening. He could feel something in the air between them, like a thunderstorm waiting to happen. If the forces of themselves met with each other again, would it cause the ground to shake with thunder, the air crackle with lightning? Would Huang return to when he was a child, ignorant of Nobles and some of their kindness. Would he return to hate with no love.

"It has." He whispered as he looked into the blue eyes of understanding. How was it that Kyung knew just when he was trying to hide something, how was it when he felt the utter despair of emotions weighting on him, that all he could do was push them away, Kyung took one look into his eyes and found every single one of them. He stiffened at the mention of not being in the Imperial City, He knew. He knew Kyung had been sent away. He had been sent away when Huang had needed him the most and that stung and hurt inside. Regardless though, It was unfair to Kyung to push all those emotions on him.

"It has changed me Kyung." He looked up again with brooding eyes, a deep burgundy of despair.

He looked to the ground as Kyung spoke, his hands still gripped deeply in the remains, like a love he lost. He looked far away as he was taken back, Kyung faced away as he looked up in the sky and breathed in. "It was a funny time then. Had I not met you, Had I not spoke to you, I don't think I would be the same." He quieted as Kyung continued. Oh Goddess, Kyung had thought of him, and remembered him.

When the boy got up, Huang did what was most natural, He reached up to snag the boy's wrist again, pulling him down so that he laid within his lap. He touched the face of the only man he truly loved before kissing him, he mouth forcefully pressed against the other in a show of everything he felt for the boy right then and there. Everything he felt, he poured into that moment as he inhaled Kyung's scent, pressed his body as close as he could to his and dove. Would his feelings for Kyung reach him this way? He wondered, He wondered if Physical affection was as powerful as Words were.

It was funny how these things worked. All those times before he had adamantly put down the Legionnaire's advances, and now, he was sitting on Huang's lap with no words, no excuses. As his cobalt orbs locked with Huang's own maroon ones, any words of protest he had died immediately in his throat. What was there to say? There was nothing to say, Huang's eyes said it all. Sorrow, anguish, regret, hurt, confusion, and love. But mostly, he saw pure and unconditional love.

All those times Huang had shouted words of affection, and he had been so quick to put the assassin down. He had been so quick to do anything to get the male to leave.

When the assassin's hand reached up to cup his cheek, Kyung couldn't help but slowly look away and break the gaze. His hand reaching up up to hold Huang's hand, Kyung gently squeezed it in mild surprise as the Legionnaire took him in a passionate kiss. Eyes wide with shock, Kyung floundered for a moment before closing his eyes and returning the gesture tentatively only to let it become an equally heated kiss. His hand slowly slid up the Legionnaire's strong back, clawing at the folds of Huang's clothes before pulling himself closer against the other male. Slowly opening his eyes, Kyung gave the Legionnaire a light kiss on the lips before pressing his face against Huang's neck. As much as he had tried to kill this feelings building inside him for the assassin, they had only returned stronger each time. And now, there was nothing he could do other than to accept them. "You are a terrible man Huang." The soul conduit murmured, breathing in the male's scent deeply. "Making me feel this way…"

But, Kyung couldn't help but smile and let out a small chuckle. Never, never had he felt so free before, so alive. Reluctantly looking up at the male, he kissed the maroon Lunarian on the chin. "I love you, Huang. It's not something I realized recently. When I was away, all I could think of was you. How you were doing or what you were doing. You were always in my thoughts in someway, somehow."

"I really missed you a lot." Hand reaching up, he traced the hem of Huang's collar before slowly loosening the male's shirt to gaze at the legionnaire's well defined chest. Kyung traced Huang's skin with a slender finger before pressing his ear against Huang's chest to listen to the other's heart. "I missed everything about you. From your intoxicating scent, to your rough hands, to your hair." The noble retainer paused, taking a moment to kiss Huang's collar bone. He wanted to see every part of the male. Taste him, feel him under his hands, to memorize Huang's body.

He could feel the response, the yearning inside Kyung and inside himself. Time had gotten the better of them, Time had separated them. In that time, Huang had down the most inexcusable, he had done what no other would do. He had done it alone. Yet, here he held the most precious thing, he cradled the only thing he never wanted to taint.

He chuckled as he pulled back, resting his head on Kyung's forehead. He realized though, oddly, that the other man had grown a bit bigger...in fact, his body no long fit under him, it didn't fit inside him like he was use to. No this time, Huang was the one cradled inside Kyung's body. Odd...yet no different then before. He still felt the same, still felt the same love.

"You are no less terrible Kyung." He brushed the man's bangs away before smiling at him, "Making me feel the way I do about you. One would think I have been enchanted...." He breathed in Kyung's scent as the man boldly tasted him.

His blood was pounding in his head as he felt the fingers brush against his collar, his shirt loosened. His heart pounded in his chest, could Kyung feel it there? Would he feel the excitement and nervousness. Goddess above. When he felt Kyung's head lay to rest on his heart he knew, Oh goddess he knew. His hands greedily brushed Kyung's cheek, moving to the back of his neck as he drew him up again for another kiss. He wanted this, so badly inside him.

"Kyung...Kyung it has been hard without you my love." He whispered it. "It has been hard without you there for me to share with. I missed all of you." He couldn't go into romance like Kyung did, he could only be honest. "I missed everything, Everything Kyung." His eyes lightly misted before he pulled back, before he regained himself. "Forgive me for this one act my love but...." Tears fell now on his cheeks freely, "I did something horrible while you we're away, something I am not sure I can forgive myself for."
