Boozle grunted, his hand on his gut as he headed out the food court, looking for some sort of map or something. He needed to find a healer or an infirmary or something, because the croc boil felt like crap. He had even left his "date" behind, it was that bad. That or he just felt like suffering without someone watching his every movement. He'd gotten sick of people standing and watching him suffer without being able to do anything about it. He glanced over, seeing the tree in the distance, but not about to head towards it. Maybe close to the exit...

Imryn kept glancing back over her should as she flew away from the massive edible house. This was more than she'd bargained for... what in Jack's name was going on here? Did anyone know? This was exactly why she didn't like going out and trying new things, especially around the holiday... and now she was trapped with groups of other inside of the Maul. Being a bit too concerned with making sure the mess back in the food court didn't follow her, she ended up flying right into someone. "O-oh no... I'm so sorry.. I really wasn't watching..." she stammered, quickly floating backwards and hoping that she hadn't irritated them. The poor boil didn't look like he was feeling all that good at the moment, and she only hoped that she hadn't done anything to make things worse despite it only being a small bump.

Either Boozle was a surprisingly quick limper or Dev was very bad at chasing after others. For a moment, she stopped and stomped her boot, the fur on her tail bristling. “Hey! Come back here, Boozle! Ye pure think ahm gonnae lit ye limp around oan yer own?” She wasn’t going to let her “date” walk around the Maul injured, ready to be attacked by some other gingerbread house! He would be a goner otherwise. When he kept limping, the ghoul sighed and continued to follow after him.
By the time she had finally caught up to him, she noticed another ghoul. Curiously, she placed a hand on her hip. “Oh? An’ whit dae we have here?”

Roch looked up blankly at the ghost that had bumped into him, straightening unconsciously and lowering his arm, hiding the injury he'd just been showing. "It's fine," he said, blowing off being bumped into completely. Then he heard a now familiar voice. "I said I'd come back when I found a healer," he called to Dev. "I haven't found one yet." He looked at Imryn. "You know where a healer is?" Yeah, he was tough. You could slam a candy cane into his gut and he never noticed-- jackdammit did it hurt to breathe...

Oh Jack, now there were two of them and the second one didn't seem too happy... were they together? She hadn't meant any harm, just really not watching where she was going for once and was usually more careful than this. "Sorry! I accidentally bumped into them while trying to get away from the weird edible house thing... I usually am more careful and avoid bumping into people." Well more just avoided others in general... her half body still causing her some nervousness when out in public. A concerned look crossed her face for a moment when the boil mentioned a healer, shaking her head a bit. "No... I'm sorry I don't. This is the first time I've been to this Maul, so I have no idea where anything is."

“Ye pure expect me tae wait fur ye tae fin’ a healer when yoo’re injured? That’s pure funny,” she remarked with a casual roll of her eyes. Then Dev turned her attention to the other ghoul and laughed loudly and clearly. She waved a hand in front of her face to reassure the ghost who appeared to be frantic at her surprise appearance. “Nae need tae apologize. Ah jist met this boil myself earlier.”
Then her expression turned serious as she pointed toward the direction Boozle and she had come from. “Heard somebody talkin’ ‘bout th’ clinic, but apparently it doesn’ look tay good.”

He looked at the two, raising one scaly brow at the ghost. "You're a ghost," he said to her. "And can fly. Do you really think you weigh enough to do any damage by just bumping into someone?" He frowned slightly. "Were you trying to leave?" He crossed over to the exit door, pushing on the bar that was supposed to open it. "Jack..." he almost whispered. "We're locked in."

"Well I'm an elemental... but you have a point I guess, was mostly worried about my claws poking into people." Imryn replied a bit sheepishly, hugging herself. "I had been trying to get out... but it doesn't look like there is any way we can. Even the windows up higher are all blocked off, so I thought it might be safer to try looking around for some supplies." And if it gave her an excuse to get away from the crowds and other things that might attack, well that was just a pleasant bonus. "Sorry I couldn't be of more help... but if you want an extra pair of eyes... I could look for something to help." Getting out of this place or to help the poor boil feel better, either worked for her.

Dev growled when Boozle attempted to push open the doors, but to no avail. What kind of smartie decided it was wise to lock the doors, huh?! “That’s jist great,” she grumbled, her irate tail sweeping back and forth. She walked over to the door to try and push it herself. Perhaps Boozle wasn’t pushing hard enough, but no—it wouldn’t budge an inch. The demon ghoul bared her fangs. “Gingerbread houses, locked doors—ahm likin’ th’ maul more an’ more.” Sarcasm at its best.
She scratched the back of one ear as she turned around to look at Boozle and Imryn. “Another pair ay eyes is guid.” She directed her gaze to Boozle. “Whit dae ye suggest we dae, date?”

He looked at the door. He looked at the ghouls. He looked behind them and headed for the nearest bench, trying to see if he could pick it up. "I say we break through the jackin' door," he told them. Sucked that the bench was bolted down. But that plant next to it wasn't! He headed for it, crouching down and picking it up with a grunt. ((Shall we summon a monster?))

Her tail started to flick nervously at the talk of breaking down the door. Sure, getting out of here was pretty high on the priority list, but what if banging on things aggrivated whatever was outside or attracked more things that might be inside? "Umm... maybe we shouldn't make too much noise? I mean... what if there are more of those houses out there, or something worse? Not sure if just three of us would be enough to hold them off..." Useless was something she was good at when needing to fight, if the confrontation with the gingerbread house showed her anything. (Summoning something works for me.)

She chuckled. “Ahm nae surprised.” Dev perked an eyebrow as she watched him try to lift one of the benches, but apparently it was nailed to the floor. It wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon. Eyes gleamed amusedly and she pulled her lips into a toothy grin when the crocodile boil opted to grab for the potted plant next to the bench instead. She chose to stand by and let him do all the work while she crouched low to the ground, propping up her elbows on her knees. Her tail curled around one of her legs. “Oh Boozle, mah hero. Yoo’re sae strang!” she teased.
Hands framing her face, she looked at Imryn. “By th’ way, ahm Dev.”

 "By the way," a fourth, mysterious voice added to the conversation. Where was it even coming from? What was its purpose? Suddenly a brown blur came bursting forth from the shadows, candcane raised; aimed right at Dev. "I'MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM GINGYYYYYYYYYYY" What a grand santadamn entrance. The gingerbread man had been watching the entire little conversation and had finally decided he wanted a piece. With candycane raised high, he brought down sweet, sweet justice upon the innocent girl. AW. YEAH. Gingerbread Menace Attack roll: 2 d12 Damage: 10 (Dev) HP: 4/4

Boozle blinked, having just been about to throw the plant when the jackin' THING showed up. "Oye!!" he bellowed. "Lay off, you jackin' creep!" He twisted, throwing the plant at the gingerbread guy instead of the door, but almost missing. Jackdammit. Boozle's HP: 17/30 Damage: 1

"Oh sorry! I'm-" And well, that was as far as she got before their party was joined by another, though certainly unwanted guest this time. That small frightened squeak that could be heard hadn't come from Imryn though, nope, never. Nor was she fighting the instinct to run and hide instead of fight. >.> "Aren't we dealing with enough without these... things... showing up?" she groaned, taking a deep breath before flying over towards the attacker and taking a swipe at it with her claws.
