 It was night, when the darker little sister of the bunch felt most at home. Within the darkness, she could slink into the shadows, blending into the blue night herself... It was a time when stealth could be most easily achieved, when tranquility and harmony could be found. She enjoyed the night, along with a few others, but to her, it was simply a better environment to test her skills.
She sat herself down in front of her family den's entrance. Some were already sleeping inside, and yet, she was not tired yet. It was only the beginning of the night for her, and although she was not one to first start trouble or cause her mother to worry over her whereabouts, she was not quite with the entire group. She figured she was old enough to at least enjoy some of the scenery outside at night before she had to go to sleep, anyways. It wasn't like the center of the Iknimaya lands were a troubled place. Though the forest was thick with foliage and other things one can get tangled in, there were surely enough members around so that something scary wouldn't find its way in the pride.
She stretched, sighing into the calm, crisp air. One day she would be out there, like her father, scouting amongs the trees!

Ayo was making his way back to the den, he wasn't ready to end this day of adventure. But he knew his mother and father would worry if he didn't return soon. He had felt semi-proud, he made progress on learning to climb trees. He knew what some others might think, A lion? Climbing trees, that's crazy. Perhaps that's exactly what he was, maybe he was crazy, brilliantly crazy that is.
Ever since he was young he always had to set goals for himself, the entire pride lands were his playground and he intended to take full advantage of them till he was able to venture out further on his own helping to protect his pride.
Walking towards the den he saw his sister out, did mother know about this? He bounced along casually jumping over a small rock or two towards his sister. "What are you doing out here?" He said approaching her. Maybe she was making her way in just like he was, he enjoyed spending time with his siblings but sometimes he just like to escape all the chaos of families. He was an early riser but he was very restless, always felt he had the energy to run with cheetahs, however he would never test that theory out; all of his bottled up energy left him feeling rather wide awake even when everyone else in the pride was sleeping.That is the unless he spent an immense about of his energy on training then he had no problem sleeping but he was actually surprised to see one of his sibling out and about at this moment.
