Now grown, strong, and well able, the brown and burly lion had taken his job as an ushujaa very seriously along with his other siblings who took on the same profession. Edin Prekrasen had been one of those, who he had convinced to follow along with him back to the mzazi area - where they all grew up in their childhood. There were enough ushujaa in the pride to guard the borders well enough that some of them had been given time off, even, during the days.It had surely been peaceful yet idle in the Aali'makabila lands, though he was not one to wish for anything other. He loved his family dearly, however, and he saw this as an opportunity to visit one of his good sisters. It was good that some of their other siblings became mwindaji, so contact between all of them was fairly easily attained.
According to schedule, it had taken the two ushujaa the better part of a night and day to travel from their posts to the mzazi lands. Their paws were tiring, yet still strong and able, as they were well trained as warriors. As his paws stepped on each patch of grass in anticipation, he thought back to his younger years. He barely remembered the mzazi lands since the family's Ujaji ya Makamo. The lake, especially, was something he had missed since his departure.
"We're getting closer," he called out to his older sister, happy orange eyes gazing back at her dark teal form.
"Do you think anything changed?"
The last sister of the Kuhesh and Amuxiahd family laid in waiting in the center of the mzazi lands. This had been the place where they were all born, grew up in, and this was also the place that more than half of them left upon reaching their full adolescence. A few others stayed, sure, but that didn't make the loss of the other siblings into the other territories any lighter.Her silver form paced back and forth, though a happy expression laid on her face, as she knew that at least two of her siblings were scheduled to come and visit. The lands weren't that eventful at all, so even she was to be relieved of her mzazi duties now and then. However, she supposed everyone had to operate on a rotation, and so not all eleven siblings could have been in the same place at the same time. Ah, well, perhaps another day.
Seconds seemed to last longer when one waited for something. The growing tension was almost unbearable! She just wanted to see her ushujaa siblings now, and ask them how everything had been!
Luckily for her, she did not have to wait much longer. She saw the two forms - one of Kahdmasyh, first, and then, Edin Prekrasen, follow. She was speechless, overly joyous that the two had come.
"Hello!" she called, loping over to them.
