Background: Akira was a common boy in his town. He was raised by his grandfather, and taught Akira all he knows about martial arts, due to the fact that some Kishin eggs had been threatening around their town. His grandfather also told Akira about his own parents. His father was a meister of the academy, and his mother was a witch who wasn't that much of an enemy. Akira ended up being half meister, half witch. He was supposed to do everything that a witch should do, but became a meister instead... But those powers lurk inside him. He really didn't think that a Kishins and Witches wouldn't ever be a problem, until that one day. A woman with black wings came in destroying everything through the streets, with her black sword. Before going to kill Akira, his grandfather defended him, by turning into a Death Scythe. The strongest one in the town, and fought to the death protecting him. His grandfather was defeated, and murdered right in front of Akira. The Kishin woman left badly wounded, and Akira's grandfather died. He had no choice but to leave for DWMA. Swearing that he'd defeat the kishin.
