Attention Warriors & Mages Alike!
The Fighter's and Mage's Guilds have come together in search of individuals willing to venture after a criminal who recently escaped the Anvil Jail and fled the city. He is known as Daenlin Brallion, leader of a petty smuggling gang, and he took with him an Imperial Guard as hostage. The convict has been spotted at Brina Cross Inn, directly North of Anvil and is believed to be hiding out in Hrota Cave, where he has rejoined his gang of Bosmer thieves and smugglers. Something must be done, and the guard is stretched too thin as it is. So the Mage's Guild and Fighter's Guilds have stepped in, and implore the generous nature of some talented adventurers,to please come forward and assist us and your city in resolving this matter as soon as possible. Candidates should report to the Horse Whisperer Stables outside the Northern Anvil Gate Fredas the 16th, at 10am sharp.
Quest Description
Quest Giver: Both the Mage's Guild & Fighter's Guild
Location: Anvil, Hrota Cave.
Objective/Directions: Adventurers will start at the Horse Whisperer Stables, North of Anvil. There will be an escort from the Mage's Guild as well as the Fighter's guild and they will lead the group to Hrota Cave. From here the party will be expected to explore the cave and eliminate any of the gang they come across, including the escapee. In addition to this, they must do their best to rescue the hostage who is a female Imperial Guard. Once every gang member is dead (and the hostage rescued) they can return to the Anvil Fighter's Guild for reward. (If a character is a part of the Mage's Guild, they have the option of returning there instead.) This quest IS open to anyone, regardless off their affiliated factions, but only individuals in those respective guilds will be able to move up in their faction.
Expected Resistance: Various wild animals on the way to the cave and outside the cave, approximately ten normal bandits (gang members), two bandit mage's (miniboss), and one Bandit Leader (Boss - Escaped Convict) and his three pet wolves within.
Rewards: 250g each, reduced to 125g each if the hostage is killed. Other loot and rewards will be revealed at a later point.
Other Information: - It is expected and preferred that the Hostage does not die, but rather returns with the group to Anvil. In the unfortunate event the hostage does die, the gold reward for each member will be cut in half.
Also: Preference will be given to new members and anyone else not actively in a quest. If you are in more then two active quests at this time you may request a spot but you will have to wait a week before being officially accepted. This quest is open for recruitment until 12/24 (unless it fills up sooner) and we will start shortly thereafter.
