Bul carefully grabbed a hold of Mei's hand as they worked their way out of the mess in the auditorium. Bul took in a deep breath now as they reached a hallway close to the break-off for the dorms and looked around. He could tell there was still something VERY wrong and... there was that white stuff from the first room in the haunted mansion!
"So wait Christmas what about it? o^o" the half beast inquired innocently. "Is that what the smell was caused by or is this like... that business with like Sandy Claws and stuff? Either one sounds like I'm gonna be really bummed by this.."

Mei willingly followed Bul away from the auditorium, squeezing his hand lightly when he took hold of hers. What in Jack was going on at the school? Why were there so many Christmas creatures here? Did they want revenge for last year? She could only wonder at this point, but she cringed at the mere thought.
Looking to Bul as he spoke, she blinked at the boil. "Wait..were you not on the trip to Christmas Town last year?" She had known he was in the school around then, but she hadn't seen him on the trip. Either he wasn't there, or they just never crossed paths at that time. Though, from what it sounded like, he wasn't there. "On the Christmas Raid last year, there were JOYful creatures that attacked us. Crazy, annoying little shits. Drove everyone nearly up a wall." She cringed, recalling the drunk tree she had encountered.
"Well, if I'm right..these creatures are from Christmas Town. They have the same smell, and fit the description all too well." Shrugging at his last question, she wasn't all too sure herself. "I have no idea. But I have a feeling we might find out later."

"No, I didn't go to that I had just gotten enrolled and didn't really join the flock.." Bul blinked and listened patiently to her story. "Christmas Raid? Wait.. wait wait wait.." Bul chuckled uneasily.
"You guys actually went to Christmas Town then.. like REALLY WENT there?" As fun as it sounded in theory to cause havoc on another town of er.. uhm.. magical properties if you will the boil didn't realize it was ten million times worse than the current invasion. For now.
"So what, are they really all that dangerous or what like.. that Rat thing was HUGE but he was kinda tasty. >: Are we allowed to kill them and stuff? They're not like hunters are they?" he asked. "Also uh... why would they be attacking the school anyway.." he thought. TOTALLY IGNORING THE FACT THAT THEY DID IT FIRST.

This must have all been a shock for Bul then--or an unwelcome surprise. "I know what you mean. I hardly knew anyone back then either. I think we may have enrolled about the same time actually, now that I think of it."
Nodding to his questions, the doll folded her arms, thinking of the trip to Christmas town. "Yeah, we had to take a train there--which went off its tracks and crashed--but we were definitely there. And let me tell you: I never want to go there again. Just thinking about Christmas town makes me cringe." All that ice, snow, and...JOY..it was not a pleasant place to be. Not for the denizens of Halloween, anyways.
"Some can be. There was this ninja--Jingleberry I think his name was. Students say he was super dangerous, and really strong. Whipped out a group of students who ventured down the path he was on. If there is more like him here--we could very well be screwed. Hell--if he alone is here, we could be screwed." She paused thinking of other creatures. "Some of them are just annoying. Not too much of a threat. But I would still be wary of them."
Running a hand through her hair, she shrugged. "I dunno..maybe they want revenge for last year?"

Oh. That's why. Bul made a face at the idea of ice and snow- the JOY didn't even phase him but the cold was more than unpleasant. Luckily he had been dressing for the colder weather lately. "Jingleberry. I heard that name mentioned before with every ounce of unpleasantness as the spelling of it I'd imagine. "Revenge... WHY IS EVERYONE WE DEAL WITH ABOUT REVENGE?" Bul pouted hypocritically. There were so many obvious answers to that question.

A teddy bear wandered over to where the two students were, holding up both paws in a 'carry me please' gesture as it looked up at Bul and then Mei with sorrow-filled blue eyes, "I'm lost... Help me find my way home?"

Shrugging again, the doll folded her arms over her chest. "I dunno. Haters gonna hate I guess?" Though, she would love to know what was behind this sudden attack from Christmas town. There had been such peace as of late between the two towns. Maybe they offended them somehow? Or did Hellma do something again? Who knew?
Why... Where am I...?
Freezing at the sound of the voice, Mei hesitantly turned towards the small stuffed creature. "Jack..not another one..!" Keeping the teddy bear back with her foot, she looked to Bul. "This is like a bad nightmare." HP: 40/40

An unfamiliar sound came from nearby and Bul lurched with his spines on end hissing and staring at the appearance of the troubled toy. "I'll help you find your way home.

"Eeeeeeeeeep!" There was the sound of something ripping as the teddy rolled and tumbled away from Bul's attack. When it stood up, it wobbled around on the spot before making sobbing-like noises, "What did you do that for? I just want to love youuuuu!" It started to poke at where it had been torn, white stuffing dropping out of the 'wound' as it started to walk towards the pair again.
"Please love me!"

Mei totally approved of Bul's response to the stuffed bear. There was no way she was going to fall for any of these joyful creatures tricks. They may look cute and cuddly now, but she knew..she knew, that deep down, these creatures were evil. Well..they were to her anyways. Just thinking of them back in Christmas Town..ugh!
Following suit of her boilfriend, Mei followed Bul over and punted the bear on the head. "We don't want your loving." She scoffed, folding her arms. And still it walked towards them! Sweet Jack! Why? "Forget it!" If any stuffed animal was going to be receiving any affection, it was the one's she had in her dorm. Definitely not some lost teddy from Christmas Town.
Pausing, she looked to Bul. "Maybe we can stuff it in a trash bin?"HP: 40/40

Bul realized how insensitive that might have been towards Mei's own personal collection of stuffed things and made a 'd'oh' face as he went for more of a kick this time. "I think a trash bin is a great place for a misfit toy like this one. I'd send it to that island but er..." Bul forgot where he was going with that one!HP: 40/40 DMG: 5

ROUND 1 "WHO TOOK MY MR SNUGGLE-" A loud voice boomed, making the earth shake. Its footsteps were like thunder as it stomped towards where Mei and Bul where, "MR SNUGGLE? WHERE ARE YOU-" It rounded a corner just in time to see a red thing with a long tail kill its teddy.
Its. Teddy.
"NOOOOOOOOO! YOU WILL PAYYY!" The TREEZILLA yelled as it hopped towards the pair, and snapped at the students with its jaws, intending to grab either one of them - which ended up as Mei. With its target acquired, the Treezilla ran in the opposite direction, the Living Doll firming in its jaws...

Even -> Mei
Operation: Save Mei!
-> When you attack, roll 3d6(y1) or 3d8(y2) instead!
-> The FIRST dice determines if you saved Mei or not; You must get a 6,7,8 in order to save her!

With the little teddy stuff in the nearest garbage unit Bul felt quite proud of himself and his ghoulfriend. He'd always wanted to be that guy and at least stuff one weakling in a trash bin. This was certainly satisfying enough!
It was all thrilling until...
THOOM.
THOOOM.
THOOOOOM.
A nearby water cup began to quiver, the water inside rippling into little rings. THEN. IT CAME.
Bul lifted his head from the trashcan and nearly screamed like a ghoul when it lowered its head and chomped down on Mei. That was when Bul really started to steam. "OH NO YOU DIDN'T" Roaring out angrily the boil found himself changing into more beastly of a form and rattling his spines. Somewhere a gnome had to have been recording this and planning to redistribute it on the interweb as a monster suit movie. He would later become a star. Just one day.

Mei practically cheered when Bul struck down the small stuffed bear. She wasn't at all sad to see that thing go, not one bit. "Heh heh, yeah. That island was full off misfits like that bear."
She felt a small tremor through the school--from what, she had no idea--and looked to Bul with a questioning look. Shifting her gaze back to the bearshe watched as it dissipated into nothing, with a sort of 'pop' like action. Its squeal was enough to make the ghoul cover her ears, but was no where near as bad as what came next.
"Oh sweet mother of--ANYTHING BUT THAT!"
Mei practically shrieked at the sight of the tree coming towards them. To hell with this! She wanted to run! Fast! Sadly for Mei, she didn't get the option of running and screaming, since the damned thing had chomped down on her.
This thing..was firewood.HP: 40/40
