The park, for the most, was quiet and peaceful in the crisp morning of December. A fresh blanket of snow coated everything in a glittering white blanket, giving it an austere and tranquil look. It was almost picturesque. Almost. And even that wasn't to last much longer.
BonBon had wandered off on his own, as he was oft to do, and had found his way to the park. And in the park was snow. And, in short order, in the snow was a BonBon, playing gleefully. The boy was wearing a zip-up hoodie, the only protection between him and the frigid December air. Not that he seemed to notice or care. Because OH MY GAWSH snow!
The candycane snake flopped into the snow, giggling as he flailed his arms, making a sloppy-looking snow angel in the previously untouched snow. Oh goodness, how he loved the snow! The boy sat up, shaking snow out of his hair before bounding off, frolicking in the snow.

"... the last just get out! You obnixious little snot!" A voice seemed to rage, coming from a car nearby and a moment later a rather strange and interesting looking teenager was shoved out of the backseat, the door slammed shut behind him, and the car left.
Lifting a hand up to smooth it through his long bangs the squid bird known as Ramaur looked around the area he'd been thrown out at, "Park, huh?" He murmured behind his mask, wings giving a flutter. There was nothing here that stood out, not at first, just a whole ton of snow. Reaching down he scooped some of it up with his hands, crushing into a ball that was near solid ice by the time he was done. He tossed it into the, catching it with a tentacle, and the tentacle sent it flying... he had no idea where it landed but he could see where the snow could be useful as a weapon were people to get in between him and what he wanted... which was what that idiot guardian of his did on a constant basis. Telling him that he was a decade to young to do what it was that he dreamed of doing, "I show that old dusty skeleton." He muttered as he walked along.
His mood, a rather foul one, seemed to go from bad to ecstatic the moment his eyes fell upon the rather cute looking snake that was rolling around in the snow seeming to be having a rather fun time while doing so, "Cuuuute." He murmured, changing the direction in which he was walking at a ninety degree angle to instead move closer to the one he was eying. Damn but he was adorable, a little on the pudgy side but as he saw it that meant there was more to love, right? Giving a grin he paused upon getting closer, wings giving a flutter, "Hey there, sweetheart, having fun?" He asked from behind his mask, deciding that while he still wanted to pummel Shale that this boy more then made up for getting thrown out of the car at some random crap hole of a park.

Oh hey, a voice! Yellow-green eyes brightened a little; a voice meant a person, and a person meant someone to play with! The boy rolled onto his stomach, looking up at the person this voice belonged to. Well, attempted to look, but the fringe of bright green hair obscured his view. This was easily remedied with a puff of breath, blowing the hair out of his face for the time being so he could see the cool-looking new person in front of him. The grin on the candy cane snake's face brightened a little as he pushed himself up with his arms.
"Hi there!" He greeted, balancing the weight of his torso on one hand while the other waved enthusiastically to the other boy. "Yep-yep, sure am! Lookit all the snow, it's so pretty and white and sparkly - do you like snow? -and you look really cool and my name's BonBon, what's your name?" At this point, the boy paused to take a breath, giggling a little. He loved meeting new people! "You've got pretty hair! Mine usedta be long, but I kept tripping over it so we cut it, do you ever trip over yours?" Sometimes, it was a wonder the kid used his lungs at all with how he talked. The only thing that kept him from gesticulating like made was the fact that his hands were busy holding him up so he could peer up at the tentacled, winged, glowy new boy-person in front of him.

The young guy seemed to be rather sugar high, didn't he? Then again with a name like BonBon which he was pretty certain was some sort of candy he supposed that it only made sense for him to get all excited and sugared up, huh? He gave a bit of a smile as he stepped in closer to the boy that was rolling around in the snow while talking a mile a minute, "You are a pretty chatty little thing, aren't you BonBon?" He asked of him, finding it cute if a touch difficult to keep up with him.
Squatting down he reached a hand out to the chubby snake boy, brushing his fingers through his pretty colored hair, before giving him a smile, "You used to trip on your hair, huh? I didn't know that snakes could trio." It was interesting new information for sure. He bet it would look rather... strange to see someone without legs to fall, "I can't say that I have tripped on mind before though it can be a dangerous mess if I fall asleep without braiding it back." In fact he ended up all tangled up if he forgot about it, something he'd only done on a couple occasions before learning his lesson. Though that was neither here nor there, nor important. What was important was this little rolly polly cutie that he'd found, "So tell me my adorable little friend, are you here with someone?" He asked, all for stealing him away for his own if he were on his own out here without someone to protect him from thieves.

BonBon paused a moment at the question, mulling it around for a second in his head before responding to the nice pinky-haired man. "I am a little, I guess, never really thought about it much before..." The smile eased into a thoughtful face...well golly! He guessed he did talk a little bit. But that was alright, though, right? He didn't say anything bad or mean or that, so it had to be alright. And that was that; no more thought on that matter for the time being. Especially not when there was new friend to get acquainted with!
BonBon giggled as he felt the the older boy's hand brush through his hair, grinning from ear to ear at the attention. "Yeah...it used to get caught under me and then I'd fall and that really hurts. You're lucky you haven't tripped, but getting tangled sounds just as bad; don't think I ever got tangle, but I was really little when my hair was long so I don't remember much of it." The boy had actually split up what he was thinking into multiple sentences...well, more than one sentence. The second question was answered with a shake of his head, sending the strands of green hair right back into the boy's face again. "Nope, here all by myself; guess it's too cold for everyone else." Somewhere, in the back of his mind, Momma Zu's warning about talking to strangers was trying to work it's way into his thought process. But, a stranger was just a friend he hadn't met yet, so the warning went unheeded and forgotten.

He'd never really thought about it? That was kind of funny he thought to himself, surely someone had to of pointed it out to the naga before that he was so talkative? It would appear not though... that was kind of amusing really. Then again maybe everyone around him was to dizzy from him talking so quickly to actually be able to get that word in edgewise he decided before he smile again behind his mask, "I see. Well at least you are always able to get your point across, right?" He was sure the kid would be a rather good debater if only because nobody else would get a chance to talk.
The boy started to talk that much more, a race of words that Ramaur did his best to follow before giving a delighted sort of grin behind his mask, "Nobody else is around, huh? That must be rather boring for you. Want to come play with me then? I must say I am pretty bored myself and all alone." He had been dumped off here with little to do so now he was all for playing with the poor, lonely, adorable little BonBon, "Yeah, I say that we play together my little friend, it would be fun!"
