 The pink leopard rested on a thick branch of a tree, his brother fast asleep beside him. It seemed it was the only occasion Poikilo could enjoy a moment of silence. Any other hour of the day and his ears would be preoccupied by his brother's constant jabber. With a content sigh, the leopard gracefully slid from the tree, careful not to wake his sleeping sibling. He loved taking a little walk from home, just to enjoy the songs of nature all around. If it wasn't for Baji's loud mouth, Poikilo would probably take these beautiful sounds for granted. He was thankful for that, at least.
A peculiar scent caught the young feline's attention. His mismatched eyes scanned the horizon until he spotted the female in the distance. Poikilo quickly swiped a white paw over the tuft of fur on his head, smoothing it down to look presentable for her. He took just a moment to remove the dirt from his paws and fur before smoothly making his way closer to her. The leopard was sure to show off his glittering white teeth with a charming smile - it was his best feature after all. "Hello~"

Hariti was wandering through the area glad to have an new area to roam through as she had decided to look from her small territory and try to wander for a bit. She smiled slightly looking around the new area as she paused for a moment. Seeing the other in the distance getting closer she sat where she was unsure if the other would want to hurt her or if he was going to greet her or something like that. She waited sitting happily where she was glad that it was shaded slightly as it was hot in the area where she was. The tree's around them were plentiful enough to sit around the
He seemed to have a beautiful coat color that seemed to gleam in the sunlight as she waited for him to reach her. The pink was quite nice coat color, with the blue and white with it it seemed to be an amazing combination. She smiled happily looking at the other when he spoke to her. "Hello. I have to say your coat look's quite nice. It seems to shine slightly."

The leopard's grin only broadened with the female's compliment. "Does it?" He chuckled, sliding closer to the green feline before sitting in the shade beside her. Poikilo's inexperience with women caused him to feel some anxiety, but he did not let it show through his expression and movements. Fear would probably only repel the ladies, after all. "Well, I do try to keep it clean. Thank you... but it doesn't compare to your gorgeous coat."
The pink leopard settled in the grass, avoiding the dirt to keep his coat from dirtying. A gentle pur came to his throat as he watched his new company. "My name's Poikilo, by the way. I haven't seen you around before.. Are you a rogue?" The leopard leaned closer to the female, his eyes glittering with curiosity. "A traveler?"

She smiled slightly as he moved to sit down next to her. She looked up as he continued to talk looking at the light filtering through the leaves. She smiled letting feeling the light hit her coat glad that her coat hit the blush as he called her own coat gorgeous. She had never thought for her coat as such a thing, her sibling's and mother now their was a different story. "Oh no my coat it no such thing, it's plain."
As he started to purr a soft purr of her own rose in answer. The violet eyed lioness looked over at him so he had a name, Poikilo. It was a nice name, a very nice name. "My name is Hariti it's a nice to meet you Poikilo. I am a rouge... I enjoy traveling around occasionally though I have not done so in a very long time." she gave a slight laugh. "It's the first time in while that I have left my own very small territory."

Poikilo tried to be patient, but it was difficult for him to tolerate the small talk that was expected with each new encounter he made. He wanted to get right to the juicy stuff, the gist of it all, but he knew that kind of behavior was typically frowned upon.
"Plain?" Poikilo quirked a brow at the female with a deep frown, rather displeased by the response. Not only was it a painfully obvious expression of her weakness, it implied that he had lied, or been insincere... and he was no such thing.
"Ah, a rogue..." The male nodded in understanding. He'd been a rogue all of his short life, but he had never had a territory to call his own. "So, what is it that brings you out here to make this such special occasion?"

Hariti shifted slightly moving around. "I don't mean to insult you but I have seen other's that are far more beautiful than me. I find it hard to believe that you have would find be beautiful. My own sibling's are far more beautiful than I am" Smiling softly she looked down at the ground and moved back. Looking back at him she looked down.
He asked about her wandering? Well she really had no reason. "I really only wanted to see more of the world I have scarcely left my home so I though It was time for me to explore somemore." Looking at the other she smiled before turning back to the ground. She was rather shy around this male she had no idea why though. There were far to many other males that she had been around for this one to cause her to be so flushed.
Looking at the other she was curious about something. "Do you have a reason why you are in the area? Or are you just wandering like I am? Perhaps you are traveling with someone?" She was honestly curious and wanted to know what he was there for surely there would be no reason to blame her for getting a bit curious?

"Hm..." Poikilo only let out a huff and a subtle nod at the female's response. "Maybe theirs are beautiful..." He shrugged, tilting his head to the side to let his teal bangs fall from his vision. "But I haven't seen theirs... and to deny the beauty of your own coat to compare it to others..." The leopard sighed and shook his head with a sigh; if the female was insistent on having a low self-esteem, arguing about it would do no good at all.
"You wanna see the world, huh?" Poikilo chuckled, a crooked smile appearing on his cheeks. "Take it from someone who's seen it all - you're not missing out." He mused, a white paw raising to stroke his chin. "I guess exploring once in a while wouldn't hurt... but you seem like a pretty 'rooted' girl. Just don't get lost." Poikilo ended his statement with a warm smile, hoping the female would heed to his experience.
Poikilo was delighted when the spotlight turned on him. "I travel with my brother. It's the only way we know how to live, really." The leopard glanced towards the tree which his white-pelted brother was resting on in the distance. "We get itchy paws if we stay in one place too long..."

She looked away from the place where she was. She was not sure why he was so adamant about this, there was no reason for him to do so. She might not be beautiful but it did not bother her, She was just stating the fact's. "Oh.... Well if you say so."
She looked over at her companion surprised that he said that. "I like what I have seen so far. It's nice." The things she had seen so far had amazed her there were some amazing things out there that she had been incredibly lucky. "I haven't gotten lost yet so I would hope I wouldn't get lost. But I am careful with where I go. I know there are some out there that would take advantage of me not knowing anything around here.
He really seemed to like speaking about himself. She wasnt sure if she liked that. "Oh you have a brother? So you are not traveling alone." As he looked back at the place he had come from she thought she saw a white pelt in the tree he was looking at. So they were traveler's as well that was nice, "I never got "Itchy Paw's" as you put it... I just wanted to see a bit of something new."
