Fighting Stats
Attack: 14% x 1 = 14
Defense: 6% x 6 = 36
Speed: 12% x 5 = 60
Agility: 6% x 9 = 54
Intelligence: 8% x 7 = 56
Aea didn't have much time to think today. She had slept a long, good night, and had woken up to be fed and rushed rather quickly. Lous seemed frazzled for some reason, and as they trekked to the fighting compound, Lous stopped at one store, pointed trough the glass, tapping, at one item in particular. Aea had leaned up on the window to see, beads and feathers, and bells. What were they for? Lous had smiled at Aea and pet her fondly before they were close to the compound, Lous didn't want others to downplay Aea's strength for the affection the human and mokai shared for one another.
She found herself in the ring, the pit, rather quickly, and she felt ablaze today for some reason. Almost, dizzy. Had she eaten too much?
Regardless, the bell rang, and she turned, readying herself, crouching low to the ground, ears back, eyes intense, and she eyed where her opponent would come. Not wanting to hesitate she sidestepped and ran forward along the side of the pit towards the opposite side.
Focus, today was about focus.

Link's Fighting Stats
Attack: 10x1 = 10%
Defense: 5%
Speed: 11%
Agility: 6%
Intelligence: 1% Walking to the compound, Link just knew something was up with Lila. She seemed awfully quiet, lost in thought really. Usually her cheery self would cause Link to become as happy as her. But since she seemed sad, so was he. He actually didn’t feel like fighting today, but since she had already entered him, he couldn’t back out now.
He would have to just take the match like he usually did.
Loading into the chute, Link stepped out into the compound, hearing the bell immediately. He had never seen the female before who happened to be charging right at him. With sluggish movements, Link tried to sidestep the competition, feeling himself a little too slow for the action as Aea crashed into him.

She hit him but, stumbled as she got close to him. What the -? No! She had to stay focused. As they tumbled, she fell onto him and off, feeling a paw of his hit her side where she was still tender from fighting Inali. She flopped and hit the ground, sliding away from him. Dust filtered around her and she shook, sneezed and looked at him. Her eyes widened staring at him.
He had interesting colors but what caught her attention was..what was on his back.
It was so..different, distinct...she liked it.
She smiled at him before running at him again, she jumped towards him, trying to tackle him, perhaps try and get in a pin motion like she had Inali, and as she jumped, she could only hope for the best, though as she stretched her body, she knew she was leaving herself open if she failed.

Intelligence: 1% At least when the hit each other, it wasn’t as hard as Link thought it would be. There was no bone shattering, no cracks, and best of all, neither of them were howling in pain. This was a good thing indeed.
Link couldn’t help but give the female a goofy grin when she stared at him. He could only assume it was the looks. Perhaps she had never seen someone like him colorwise before? Whatever the reason, Link just wagged his tail, watching as she aimed for him again. This time he was a little more prepared. He had to be, if he wanted to impress Lila. He needed to make her happy, and a win would do just that!
The dark colored mokai let her try to pin him. Though, he his opportunity to strike. While she was in mid air, the male tried to body slam her side, wanting to get her grounded.

She was so close, and now, so far away, hitting the ground, hard. Aea coughed. She thought she had a chance. She was close, brushing so close to the opportunity but he had a strength that fired up in him like a blaze that jumped up from a campfire. She yelped, as she hit the ground, her side aching horribly, and she closed her eyes as the sting went through her. It fell and seemed to burrow in her chest and she breathed, hard, and grit her jaw tightly.
Aea opened her eyes to look at him, so different, strong, seemingly wild. Others were cheering for him now, Lous was saying something, but Aea couldn't hear. A ring buzzed in her.
No...she thought, they had to cheer for her.
She pushed herself to stand and didn't give herself time to think, time to plan, she ran for him, full speed, putting as much energy as she could into her attack, wanting to ram into him as hard as possible, even if it meant toppling with him.

Intelligence: 1% After seeing her go down, the male looked worried for the female. “You okay?” He asked cautiously. His side hurt from the body slam, but he was sure she was aching from connecting to the ground.
There was something new in her eyes…something that Link hadn’t seen in a fighter before. Not realizing what was going on until it happened, Link felt her hit him with such a force, both were crashing down to the ground. Emitting a snarl (without actually meaning too), the dark male struggled to get away from the female.
In his last resort, he reached his jaws up to her, snapping at her muzzle, though there was a bit of resistance. If he managed to have grabbed her, she would feel him holding back, not trying to injure, but more so putting on the show for the needy audience.

"What'dya think?" she asked in a grumble as they collided. They fell hard, tumbling, and as they fell she felt him reach to snap up at her. She turned her head, just suddenly, and felt his fangs meet her cheek and she snarled at the contact. She felt the sting and pulled away from him, her paws trying to get traction on the ground but it was hard with such short claws.
She reached a paw to rub at her face and felt a slight warmth.
Just a scratch, she told herself, it would heal.
She felt her fur began to p***k her skin, bristling, and she snarled, voice rising to meet that of the crowd, he had hesitated, and she was thankful for it. But she had to focus, and she couldn't hesitate, she had to do this, she had to try.
He was so dark, she couldn't read his movement very well, so when she lunged for him, she aimed at his paws, hoping to kick them out to try and gain the upper hand.

Intelligence: 1% Link’s eyes widened a bit at her attitude. He didn’t mean to have hurt her…
The mokai was someone who wear his emotions on his sleeve, so you could say that he would get easily distracted. Feeling her pull away, Link blinked, head a bit fuzzy as he watched her quick movements. He didn’t have time to move out of the way, as he felt jaws clamping down on his paws.
With a howl, Link felt himself pulling his paw away, trying not to step on her in the process. He really didn’t want to hurt the female, even though she seemed to be very much into it. He jumped away from her mouth, tearing the paw from her grasp. Upon landing, his ankle buckled, and he felt himself falling to the ground. He had to get up quickly, or else she’d get the last move of the fight.

She hadn't wanted to hurt him either, nothing was personal, this was only about the end result, the goal, and he goal was to be undefeated, to be like the mokai, Ai, she had met. She was a champion, and even though Lous never pushed for it, truth was, Aea wanted that. She wanted to feel proud nad have a prowress about her.
As he fell, Aea jumped to him, landing on him, huffing, trying to catch her breath. She was trying to merely keep him down, but, her energy was fading fast.
Just a bit longer, but she knew, she might not have it in her.
"I didn't mean any of it...I just...want this..." she said softly to him as she struggled to stay where she was.
It was true, she wanted this, but she couldn't help but wonder, was it want, or need?

Intelligence: 1x2 = 2% “You can have it then.” Link said, understanding a bit what she meant. Even though it was good for him and Lila if they had won, he knew this mokai just wanted it a little more.
In the pinned position, Link’s ears swiveled back and forth, giving the female a light kick in the gut. Even though he had just told her basically he was giving up, letting her win, he still needed to put on the show for the crowd that he was still in the fight, with just waning energy. He learned his lesson on how the humans disliked watching him in his earlier fights, due to the fact that he wasn’t really fighting, now play fighting. At least with today’s battle he was proving himself a good actor.
When the bell sounded, signaling for the fight to be over, Link was a bit relieved. Even though she didn’t mean any of it, as she said, he didn’t want to chance her going any further than she could.

Her eyes met his and she hoped there was silent understanding. She gave a smile to him and felt a pressure on her gut and rolled off from him quickly, pretending as if it was a hard hit. Perhaps it was wrong to fake such a thing, but, As the bell rang, she looked over to him, gave him a smile, let her tail curl round herself and waited for Lous.
She was tired, but, was happy.
At what cost?
She knew, in her heart, there was an understanding here that she hadn't yet known with this mokai yet, and they had only met just today, just now, and there was something in him genuine. Aea would have to find him outside the pit, and speak with him, and find out who he was.
