Piko walks throw the entrance of the carnival. Slowly he walks throw the fair ground being dazzled by the many lights. Piko shivers as it is a cooler night. He tightens his scarf around his neck rubbing his hand on his arm to warm them up. Piko comes across a cotton candy stand. He stands there watching the person manning the station as they spin giant puffs of pink silk. Piko's mouth waters as he smells the sweet and air aroma coming for the stand. He purchase some and happily walks throw the fair wonder what else the night will hold.

 IA walked around the carnival area alone mostly keeping to herself. She wasn't one for crowded areas but the lights and the sounds coming from the carnival inspired her to take a visit. With pale rose colored hair flowing behind her she walked about the area looking for something more to inspire her. The cool air didn't seem to bother her much being very comfortable in her hair resting over her shoulders to keep them warm. Carrying a camera in hand she started taking pictures of everything until she soon spotted Piko. IA stared at him just trying to remember who he was.

Piko sat down on a bench and start to eat his cotton candy. The joy he was feeling well eating the cotton silk must be plastered across his face for he was on cloud 9. He then returned to realty to notice a girl looking in this direction. Not sure if she was looking at him or by him he hid his face behind his half eaten cotton candy concealing his now flushed face.

IA stood there watching Piko while lifting her camera up. She took a quick picture of him then glanced over to the Ferris wheel to take a picture of that as well. She didn't want to make it seem like she was a creepy person or anything. IA was just collecting photos for inspiration for her artwork. Her eyes quickly went back towards him as she stood there thinking. She was sure she has seen him somewhere but not in person. The way his hair stood up reminded her of Miki though so she was sure he had to be a vocaloid as well. Her face darkened just a bit only because she felt a little weird for staring.

As Piko's face was still behind his cotton candy he noticed a flash of light. He looked up quickly to see the girl holding a camera taking a photo of the Ferris wheel. Piko stares at the girl perplexed over why she would need a photo of him. Piko keeps his eye line on the girl trying to figure out why she would take a picture of him. Piko thinks to himself. He isn't outgoing and he is terrible with a crowd what could she get out of this. Then all the sudden Piko's mind goes black and a thought just occurred to him. This girl is a fellow vocaloid. The air around her was just different then everyone else. Piko took in a deep breath and waved shyly at her well hiding most his face behind the cotton candy just so she could see his one blue eye.

IA's face burned a bright red color as she noticed Piko waving at her. She was sure that he spotted her then. The embarrassed vocaloid quickly looked around to see if there might be someone standing close by that he could be waving at but she couldn't find anyone. IA turned back towards Piko and offered a small shy wave of her own. Taking a deep breath, IA braved her way towards Piko with her camera hanging from her neck on a then lace strap. IA stopped a few feet away from Piko only to speak up shyly. "Y-You're a-a... vocaloid r-right?"

After the girl caught site of Piko waving at her she seemed to be a little unsettled. She looks around to make she the wave was directed at her, when she realized it was walked towards Piko. Piko's heart started to pound as the girl walked his way. Piko tapped himself on the head with his hand trying to contain his nerves. She suddenly started to speak to him which made Piko jump a little. " O yes... I'm a voc...aloid" He said nervously trying not to bury his face into what was left of his cotton candy. "Are.... you a vocaloid?" He asked well his voice strains trying to get the words out.

IA grasped her camera once again just holding onto it just to give her hands something to do. She gave him a quick nod in her reply while flipping through her screen shots to find the picture she took of him. "Y-Yes.. I'm just n-new here. My name is IA and you m-must be... Piko?" She asked while tilting her head slightly off to the right. IA still had to find her comfort zone when meeting people. Even though the other vocaloid seemed to be just as shy and timid as she is IA still felt a little uneasy. "I-I'm just collecting pictures for a-a scrapbook."

Piko watched as the IA played with her camera. A blank look came across Piko's face. " O I'm sorry I forgot to..... introduce my..self" Piko's face blushed little pink after he was finished speaking. He was embarrassed about forgetting such a simple thing. " I'm off to a good start" Piko whispered to himself because the reason for coming to the academy was to make friends and gain confidence. He then shook his head back and forth trying to reconsecrate. "F-for a scrapbook?" Piko asked for no reason in particular. He looks to IA's camera. "That must be her hobby" He thinks to himself well looking courteously at her camera.

IA stood there for a moment then fumbled her camera about within her hands. After realizing it was on a string and wasn't going to fall to the floor she released it while laughing just a bit. "I-It's nice to meet you, P-Piko." IA's eyes shifted about then glanced over to the cotton candy machine. She quickly walked over to it before ordering herself one. Cotton candy was so light and fluffy and the color was one of her favorites. IA turned back towards Piko and smiled a bit. "Mind if I sit next t-to you?"

Piko sat there stiffly trying to not show his nerves. "It's n-nice to meet you too... IA" He said still trying to keep his composer. IA then walked over to the cotton candy stall getting herself some. Piko watch as her hair whisked throw the air. If Piko didn't know it was hair he could have sworn her hair was made of cotton candy itself. When IA returns and asked to sit beside him Piko flashed a soft smile. " Well of c-course you can" He takes a deep breath " I-I don't bite" He said with a sigh as he tried to make a little joke but clearly falling as his voice wasn't steady.

IA glanced around quickly before slipping over to take a seat beside him. "You don't really s-seem like the type of person who w-would." She released a soft sigh in relief finally letting her guard down just a bit to enjoy the cotton candy. Pealing off a small bit of cotton candy she slips it into her mouth, her cheeks darkening just from the sweet taste. "This is good stuff." IA leaned back so she could stare at her cotton candy. "It's like fluffy pink clouds... I'll have to remember to draw something like this later."

Piko smiled as IA took a seat nest to him. He finally didn't have to wander around alone now. " Ya y-your right" He lets out a small laugh. Piko then looks back down at his own cotton candy already half eaten. He leans back moving his feet back and forth well taking another bite. " Ya something sweet is always good on nights like these" He said a little more conveniently well able to smile at IA. He looks at her then at her hair. "You know what would be funny" He giggles. " If you drew a picture of you holding cotton candy but your hair starts to turns into the cotton candy that is on the stick". Piko gripped his sides as he laughed at the idea. He didn;t really know why it was so funny himself but maybe his nerves weren't helping.

IA laughed softly at the thought. "That would be pretty funny.. I think it w-would be too much to handle if my hair was made out of cotton candy." IA nipped another piece of cotton candy into her mouth. She looked down towards her camera then lifted it up with her free hands to take a picture of it. Her eyes fluttered just a bit from the bright flash going off as she capture the screen shot. "I'll have to look around for more things to take pictures of. I wonder if I could get a good picture while on the Ferris wheel." IA glanced up towards it then trembled a bit. "I-I don't know if I want to be so high up."

Piko laughed softly " WEll I guess showering would be out of the question" He said well scrunching his face up. He takes another bite of his cotton candy and lets the pick cotton melt on his tongue causing him to smile at the sweetness. He looks over at the Ferris wheel well IA talks about getting a couple good photos from it. " Well did you want to go on ? I'll come with you if you would like". Piko asked nervously because in fact Piko loved the Ferris wheel but he didn't want to go on it alone.
