Bodair was more then thrilled to be accepted as a full member now even if she had won her honor by a die instead of a full win. She had fought very hard to get where she was now. Still she didn't want to loose her skill so she was out searching for someone to spar with. She rolled her shoulder and stretched out smirking softly she looked over her shoulder she licked her fur down over the scars sighing softly. Oh how she missed her dear...dear friend. She pushed the thought form her mind not wanting to get to depressed before a duel. While ding this she caught sight of a male. A very large full firekin blooded male. Her eyes light up oh this would be fun.
She bonded off after him she got on top of the dune following him as she moved through the dune valley. She tsked softly he really should look over his shoulder. She smirked softly not able to help herself as she moved on the other side of the dune where she would be hidden before pushing large amount over in front of his path. She poked her head up watching him before sneaking back behind the dune before he noticed her.
( figured we start the rolling after they have a small meet and greet or we can have this rp as a meet and greet then another one of them dueling. )

Canicus moves slowly over the sands, not in a particular rush to be anywhere. Later he would be hunting, but until then he did not have any responsibilities. He was thinking perhaps of visiting his sister today, that was always a comfortable time for Canicus. His tail flicked and his nostrils flared, though the vague scent in the air caused him to narrow his eyes. Unfamiliar... and then gone. He did not bother to look around, but his ears perked slightly on top of his head and his whiskers twitched in annoyance. Ah, couldn't he be left alone today?
And then came the sand. He snarled as much of it slid into his pathway, quickly jerking back the instant it hit his paws. His gaze narrowed again as he calmly glanced toward the dunes, scanning. Ah, someone hiding? "Cubs shouldn't treat their elders that way." He called out, again testing the air for the scent. His voice was calm but firm, he didn't like being joked around with.

A cub? Honestly how would anyone- well no wait she was pushing sand over in front of him that was a bit childish she guess. She thought before smirking evilly oh she couldn't help it honestly no this was far to much fun. She ran off circling back away making sure he could catch her scent before coming up behind him. she walked past him giving him a funny look.
"What are you looking at?" She said as if his presence was and the way he was looking at the dune was revolting. This was all an act of course oh how she loved to tease. She kept walking minding her own business. Her walk was a bit more sassy for the moment since the male was behind her and he was someone knew someone she didn't know. Someone she could certain have hope of attracting. That is assuming he played nice.
She then stopped and looked back over her shoulder. "Say you wouldn't happen to want a duel would you? She said turning back around moving closer to him now. "I've have my fair share but I still have yet to win one. I'd like-" She paused a moment as she gave him a very obvious up down taking in his features. "see what it is you have to offer." She said in a slight purr to tempt the male into a duel.
( I has an idea they can chit chat about a duel and then we can make another rp of the duel yes? )

His nose twitched and he shook his head slightly, letting out a deep breath. "Alright, fine." He said, sounding still calm and a little like he didn't care about the situation. If the cub (and he firmly believed it was a cub with such a childish prank) thought it was going to get in trouble just because of something so stupid then he'd leave it to it's hiding spot, he had better things to do with his day. His tail gave a flick, and just as he turned to look back where he was going he caught what he was hoping to be the culprit's scent again. Which agitated him, though he wasn't quite sure why.
His head turned ever so slightly when he could hear another approaching fairly close behind him, though his bright gaze remained on the dunes. When the stranger addressed him he frowned and turned; she was just that, stranger to him. A rogue who'd dueled their way to membership? More than likely. One brow rose as she questioned him, because as he took a breath he realized the vague scent that was lingering around this dune was the same as her own. Canicus may not have been social or talkative, but that didn't make him stupid.
"I wonder." He said dryly, but then she moved to go. Ah, typical. He resumed walking as well, though this now placed him behind her. His gaze stayed firmly on the female ahead of him, and though the thought that she was a rather pretty female had poked at his brain, he was more focused on trying to figure out why anyone would push sand onto anyone else and then act like it wasn't them... and if it hadn't been her he'd eat his own tail!
He stopped short as she turned back, eyes widening a fraction before he snorted. Ah, he saw now. Was she too shy to ask for a sparring mach without doing something like what she'd just done? "What is your name, rogue?" He wasn't trying to be offensive, even though he'd just not only disregarded her question completely but also he'd called her 'rogue'. He knew she wasn't, otherwise she wouldn't be in these parts of the pride... but he'd never seen her before, so she must have been new. Maybe. "Shouldn't courtesies come before combat?" Ah, sometimes he thought himself witty!

She smirked softly feeling quite proud of herself for managing to get away with the sand issue so easily. She was quite pleased with how he began to act. He was acting as if he where a book and all she had to do was turn the page and read it though some of the detail got blurred between the lines. Like the fact she didn't catch on the he knew she was the sand fiend.
"Rouge?" she said huffing taking a great offense. She might not have out right won her battle but she did give that male a run for what he was worth like she had said she would. "I am no rouge i am one of you! Just as you are one of me!" She said with a slight pout before shaking her head.
"If you really must use a title like that female would have done just nicely or perhaps you would like to call me pretty?" She said all coy like as she turned to face him a bit better now. "An I'm not so sure you deserve to know my name good sir. What with insulting me as you did."

He hadn't missed the fact that the female did become offended after all, even if that wasn't his intention. His tail flicked as he considered his next words and smirked slightly, glancing sideways at her. "But there's a difference between you and I, isn't there? I'm sure I've never once seen you in these lands. That makes you rogue born, and sometimes that is almost more of an accomplishment. You had to fight to get in, did you not?" He wasn't sure how much he actually believed his words, but he could see that they'd probably quell her annoyance. "Myself on the other hand, I was born into these lands as a true firekin." Of course, he didn't mention that it was his destiny, fate, and right to be in the hot, troublesome lands.
He shook his mane a little, slowing and then stopping to itch at his neck. The damn sand was always sticking right around that area it seemed, and he wasn't fond of how itchy it made him feel. He paused in mid-itch when she asked if he'd perhaps prefer calling her pretty, and one brow raised up in a skeptical manner. Ah, how long had it been since he'd interacted with a female that wasn't from his family? He'd all but forgotten things like flirting. Which she was clearly trying to do, right? He snorted as he shifted back to all four paws and began to pad forward again.
What were the use of looks? Everyone in this land looked the same anyhow. She'd be prettier if she could beat him in a sparring match, wouldn't she? Females were always prettiest then. "I might as well be calling you girl." He said softly, this time he did mean to tease just a little. "You're still young mentally, so girl will suit you fine. It hadn't been my intention to insult." Calm as the sands they were walking on, and as he glanced toward her he even smiled lightly.

The female tilted her head curious watching the male as he tended to the sand in his fur. He happened to look a bit cute while scratching like that. She cleared her throat and tossed her mane tuff out of her eyes. Best to get those thoughts out of her- wait did he just praise her for being rogue born? Her cheeks began to flush madly and she was never more happy for her dark fur. How could a male have this effect one her? Never before had this happened no she was always the one to make the other bashful not this! This made her feel...well like a girl.
She could have felt insulted by him calling her a girl now but she was already thinking it so it really didn't help. She thought a moment before letting her eyes fall just a moment. "I see..." She replied softly before looking back to him. "I guess I shall forgive you this time." She said before snapping out of her girly moment as she huffed just a moment before she moved closer to him. She looked him over a moment before smirking.
"Tell me are you a great warrior do you make your pride proud or do you hide from other and not wish to take part in duels and disgrace them?" She asked being quite bold she had no idea how this male carried himself and she thought what best way to find out then to aggravate him. Aggravation was always a interesting way to make a conversation flow.

Canicus did not notice the sudden bashful behavior, or that anything was different at all. This was one of the longest conversations he'd had in ages, if he didn't count his sister. It was... exhausting, quite frankly. Sparring was a different matter entirely, it was something he enjoyed doing and felt natural at. So when she began to question if he was a warrior or not, or if he was some sort of recluse... he felt slightly offended. "All firekin are warriors. Even the medics." He replied, his naturally calm and almost dull voice carried a twinge of annoyance. So that wasn't entirely true either... some firekin couldn't fight.. but they were thinkers! The brightest lions around! Their jobs were to plan, strategize and come up with medicines and the like.
He shook his head slowly, looking her in the eye. "Ah, maybe cub was better suited. I've never met a firekin who turned down a duel. No firekin hides." Though he did know some firekin who disliked dueling, who preferred thinking. Not him, he loved to spar... oh this female was infuriating, just assuming whatever she wanted! "Though I've still not accomplished anything in my life to earn pride, I do not shy away from duels." He suddenly picked up his pace, moving slightly ahead of her. "It's not smart to act so cocky when you're so newly accepted here." He mumbled softly, for the first time his voice betrayed his emotions; annoyed, upset. But as he glanced back to her he'd already returned back to normal. "Are you still looking for a duel? I will show you why I will never disgrace the firekin when it comes to dueling."

She began to noticed she was getting under his skin oh this was to much fun it really was. She couldn't stop herself as she moved closer to him. She brushed past him just to get under his skin she was a female and this female loved to use her body and womanly ways to get under males skin. she began to purr just enough so he could hear.
"You know I love a male that can really bring his all to a duel. Tell me male will you bring it?" she teased before moving away from him before turning once again to face him.
"Or will I leave unsatisfied?" She teased once again as she leaned forward bearing her fangs to him. "An I like to think my boldness makes me a fine candidate for being here. I'm not afraid of anything!" She said lying the last bit she was actually afraid of a lot of things some more then others but this male didn't need to know that!

Canicus had never really had much tact with females... rather, he'd never had much need or interest in females. Most members of the pride were related in some manner or another, and he'd never really had cause to notice them. So as she brushed past him, as she spit out her teasing words with a tone that made his thoughts sway away from the duel entirely, he wasn't that surprised to feel his heart quicken just slightly. Nor was he surprised that he felt oddly embarrassed by her bold act of flirtation. This female was dangerous; any female willing to use her charms was a dangerous one.
Or will I leave unsatisfied? He cleared his throat at her words, blowing air out his nose. "Hm, sometimes fear is the proper response." Was all he was able to manage in response to her teasing. Being brave and strong were all good and well, and it was rare for Canicus to feel a sense of urgency or fear... but he knew the day he felt afraid of something would be the day he'd be more willing to relocate and come up with a plan, instead of foolishly plunging ahead like a braver firekin might.
His tail flicked and his gaze shifted away from the dark female, and then quickened his pace to pull ahead of her again. It was like they were in an unspoken competition of who could get to the dueling rings first; a slow paced race. "I'm quite confident I'll be able to satisfy you." His words were equally bold, and if she knew him better she might have been able to catch the slight hint of discomfort in his words. He was trying to tease back, but his sentence came out much more serious than he'd intended. Oh well, this was all just leading to a duel anyhow. "See you at the rings." He said, and before she could reply he was picking up his pace, moving into a slow run.
