The Squire of Earth was standing atop the library, as he often did at the start of his patrol. Maybe it was a little silly, starting his patrol from his place of work most nights, but so far it had not caused much of a problem.
He was starting to have a bit more faith in the glamor that protected him.
When he first started this whole 'knight' thing, he had been more than worried about being figured out, magic or no. How hard would it be? A knight named Camelot who was older, and had powered up for the first time right here at the library. He was a librarian who happened to have a very distinct fondness for arthurian legend. And he was older.
It was not really a leap in the mind to put the two together.
But he supposed that was why the glamor was really magic. No one seemed to put it together, like they had a mental block that stopped them from seeing the obvious. Even people he deeply cared about, or his fellow knights, only knew his identity when he told them. And inevitably they kicked themselves for missing it.
Good stuff, that glamor.
He was looking out over the city, not paying too much attention to the area around him. The Library was just tall enough to see over the shorter buildings of the surrounding shopping areas, the nearby school. He was looking for trouble as much as he was just looking, just watching people in their normal lives, going about their night, oblivious that they could be attacked by monsters or people looking to steal their energy at any moment.

Glamour was a remarkable thing, and when he first was awoken, he still felt like himself in a new outfit. There were no mask, no drastic changes aside from wardrobe, and he was sure that the moment anyone on the streets saw him, they would point and ask him what in blue blazes he was doing dressed as if he was playing a part in a theater production. Oh, but he was a good actor, and even while he was stopped by cops on near misses and passed by passing civilians who stumbled into dark allies or service workers on roofs, they could never exactly describe him correctly. It was a good considering he didn't need a mask to hide his features, and either way, he still felt rather handsome in any form.
As it was, there were few people in the city that would even know him if they spotted him without the magic that kept him secure, but it was nice to know it was there. There was only a few people that need to know him in this other attire, and as of right now, he was looking around for just that. Patrolling wasn't his style. They were for other lackies, but getting around and doing his own footwork was a sad necessity that he had to bite down and deal with. That didn't mean he didn't have his car parked nearby. Like hell he was going to jump around all the way back home. And public transportation? He wasn't sharing any seat a bum was using as both a toilet and a bed.
Roof hopping it was, or in this case, just standing in one place and waiting. He usually picked well lit areas, somewhat dark in hopes some senshi would pass by, and waited. All the running around was pointless. The chances weren't any different, and for that reason, he spent his time standing, slowly moving, and wishing he could pull out his phone. Too bad it also went away during his transformations.
This time he picked a roof near the library, and stood on the corner, letting his cape billow. It was something nagging, a presence, that caught his attention, and he slowly moved on the ledge of a nearby roof to look over at a lone figure, trying to make out what it was. Certainly not a rooftop worker checking the air conditioning unit. Not in that attire.

Camelot turned his head when he felt someone was on the roof with him, frowning and seeing the darkly clad man. He turned to face the other, shield moving just a bit in front of him, crystal glinting under the thin moonlight.
"Do you need something?"
The Squire looked wary, but peaceful, if the two were not mutually exclusive. He tilted his head. He wasn't sure what he was looking at, if he were honest with himself, but he had learned that anything he didn't know right away was not automatically an enemy and was not automatically a friend. He imagined things would be clarified fairly quickly.
At least he did know he was dealing with another powered up being, considering he didn't get too many normal folks on the roof tops and they didn't have auras anyway.
He lowered his shield, fighting off instinct to look more at ease.

It was still dark, and this high, Endy knew this wasn't just some passing worker. He prepared for a senshi, as the aura, while something he was getting used to sensing, was not similar to others he knew. He moved closer, in the slow confidence that, if he did not draw a weapon, he would be allowed a moment to prepare a speech. "I doubt you could give me what I need." He said to the offer, and then stopped when he drew close enough to see the figure.
Dressed in regal armor and male from times long past. The man looked older, clearly no one he knew. but it was the insignia stamped on his chest that drew his eyes. His eyes stared at it a moment, before looking up. "Who are you?" It was a barked order.

Camelot watched the other man, a little surprised that someone nearer to his own age was out and about. He was really used to running into teenagers, sometimes younger, and his mind sort of jammed whenever he saw someone he could actually consider an adult.
At the intense tone, Camelot arched his eyebrow. He was not used to being ordered around, either. Maybe that came with his age as well. He couldn't take directions as easily as some, save if they were from friends who he had deemed knew better and were trying to help him. So. Mostly everyone.
Except this guy.
He didn't know who this guy was, or what he was doing up here, but he got the distinct impression that he was not a friend. It made Camelot tense, his shield turned slightly forward, though not raised, the crystal glinting as if it felt the spark of a looming battle in the air.
But Camelot wouldn't make the first move. He took a breath, trying to play things evenly. He was curious, and to get answers he had to avoid a fight.
"My name is Camelot, Squire of Earth. Who are you?" His tone was firm, demanding in its way, but removed from the order that this stranger who looked like a knight had given.

"Camelot?" He recorded the name, and his eyes widened at the word 'Squire' and 'Earth'. It sparked excitement in his eyes, and he smiled, and literally felt like laughing. Finally. FINALLY he had resources! It nearly floored him to see a relic of the past here before him. It seemed senshi and the negaverse were not the only players on the field, and he was all to happy for it.
There was an all too smug, too knowing grin on his face. A keeper of a punchline to a joke that was letting it drag on too long for affect. Then, breathing out, he regarded the squire once again. "I would think you would know your prince." He looked back at the symbol of the planet upon Camelot's attire. "It's been a while since I've seen anyone bearing the symbol of our planet." He looked back up, intensely at the squire's eyes. "Do you not recall me?"

Camelot hesitated. The back of his head screamed that something was not right, but he hadn't been expecting that response. Usually bad guys looked and felt like bad guys, and they told him what they were. Then they would fight, and Camelot would try to not fight, and things ended in pain or feeling guilty. Good guys were easier to deal with by far.
He found he wasn't sure about this guy, not yet.
"I'm afraid I don't," he said, arm twitching. His shield was getting that heavy feeling it often got when he was preparing to fight. His body knew when there was something dangerous, but more often than not he ignored that sensation and pushed it to the very back of his head. Still. A guy that felt like an agent of Chaos telling him he was the prince of Earth? Very strange indeed.
Camelot could not help but feel an off putting rush of... possessiveness? This planet was his, as much as it was the Negaverse's or anyone else. He would not give it up to anyone easily.
"In what sense are you my prince? I know the senshi have royal ranks, and I serve their princesses, but you... you're not like them. You're not even White Moon... are you?"

"You're use to the princesses that come from other planets. I'm not that. I'm a very...grounded man. I don't have the flare and dazzle of senshi magic through me. I'm much a guardian of this planet as you are. Well, not exactly like you as my family has always been entrusted with the planet's well-being. We're not senshi." Endymion withdrew his sword as an example. "We fight with our hearts and our will to see our planet survive and prosper in peace and the love shared between us." He set the tip of the sword down. "Much like the words that summon the attacks form the senshi from their planets, our words summon our bond within." He slid the sword back into it's sheath as the demonstration of manual attacks was over.
"I'm not surprised you don't remember me. We all seem to be recovering our memories." He touched his brow to show he was still remembering - or so he would let others believe. "...but there is one thing that I do remember, and that is my daughter. You have met princesses before. Have you seen my dear rabbit?"

"You have a daughter?"
Uh oh. Tony's weak spot. He was a very paternal man, and not just to his own son. Which was good, as his own son was not exactly fond of being taken care of. Why the boy had ever come to find his father was still a mystery to the elder Darrow, most days. Certainly not for bonding or closeness. Probably just for a nice place to stay than his mother provided.
That was fine, Tony would provide it.
Camelot's expression softened a bit. Chaos or not, the man was now within the realm of being related to. They both had children to worry about, to fight for. Or at least, that was what Camelot thought was going on. Nothing too sinister here, he decided.
He tried to be skeptical, anyway.
"I don't know. Who is she?" He had only seen a couple of the princesses but they seemed too old for this guy to have fathered. He didn't mention his own son, either, though it was clear his demeanor had changed. He had lowered his shield slightly, though he had never fully raised it. His crystal still thrummed, however, in response to the energy in the air.

Oh, he saw the lowered shield, and knew it was working. He touched his chest, and breathed out. "She has pink hair, tied up just like her mother's. They used to call her Chibimoon, - I call her Chibimoon - about yeeehh big.." He held up his hand to measure the height of a small girl. "...but I don't know what she might go by now. I've only got to see her once." He touched his chest, looking down and taking a moment to look pained.
"Ever since I've remembered her, to all of this, I've been looking for her. She's your princess after all, as a Squire to Earth. She's a much a princess to Earth as she is to the Moon, and now..... well now, she needs that protection more than ever." He turned a moment to look up at the stars. "....That's what I want to do. To protect those dear to me." He didn't look at the other man, but ventured a guess.
"Do you have children?"

Camelot looked perplexed, but shook his head. If he had seen her, it might have only been in passing. He did not know her by name, though he was sure he had heard it somewhere before at least, and he frowned when he realized he was not going to be of much help for this man.
Whatever he was.
"I do," he said, though he wasn't going to elaborate too much and give away details of his personal life. He didn't know Nathan was a senshi, after all, so in his mind he did not want to endanger his civilian son. "I understand what you mean, wanting to protect them. I have to admit, I consider a few of the senshi as sons or daughters, and many as friends. I would do what I could to protect them, as well as the other Knights."
He tried to focus, though, looking at this prince of earth.
"You are not a knight, and not a senshi. Your aura feels like chaos, like the negaverse or their corrupted senshi. Are you a corrupted knight?" Maybe that was why he couldn't place it. But that couldn't be right: he knew vaguely that knights and the negaverse were connected and if he were a knight turned evil he would likely just be a nega. It was very complicated, though.
At least to him.
"I want to help you, but... as I said, I will protect the senshi."

His brow creased, as if trying to make sense of what the knight was saying, and looked at himself once over, lifting up his cloak just slightly as if he would spot some stain or sign that the other man was using to come to these conclusions or to make sense of what he was saying, and then looked back to him. "I don't see where you're getting this from. I'm a prince, Endymion, of Earth." His expression was one of confusion, before he settled that it wasnt' necessary to get a migraine over.
"The senshi do need protection, and that is why I must find my daughter. Together, we can help lead and protect the senshi and this universe from opposition as we have done in the past." He glanced at the shield and looked back up at the knight. "What alliance do you sign yourself with? As a knight of this planet, you know what is expected of you, do you not? The power of one will not bring peace to this planet. We must band together and use the power between us to accomplish our goals." Or more importantly, HIS goals, but that was what a knight was for. To serve and protect - him.
"I should hope your own children will be protected as a knight of this planet. They are in your care, as is my child. I would do everything within my power to keep her safe and the planet that has been destined to me through ages past. There are still greater evils out there." He looked out into the night sky, as if he could spot that every danger approaching.

Camelot frowned, unsure because Endymion looked unsure. He registered the name, though, for future reference. He would ask senshi about it, or other knights of Earth, see if anyone knew more of him than Camelot did.
It wouldn't be hard, all Camelot knew was what was being handed to him now.
"I have a team of knights, who fight for the same peace and for the lives I do. We are the Knights of Destiny. And I will fight for your life, for your daughter's life, as I do my own and my son. I'm not going to let this war wage on forever, the casualties always adding up."
The squire sighed.
"Well, whatever fuels you, whatever you're fighting for, we don't have to be enemies first. All I want to do is save lives and, more than that maybe, give them the chance to stay alive. I fight for peace between chaos and order, and I serve all those that will help me. If you fight for the same thing, then I serve you as well."

He had a team, which pretty much sounded as if this particular knight ran the show for a band of them. Good. It was worth coming over to talk to the man, and he made a note that this would further advance his goals if he played his part right. As it was, this was only a introduction, and as long as he didn't sour it, things would go well. Now he had to only continue to establish this fledgling relationship and leave the door open for future meetings. He DID NOT want to spend too much time trying to find this knight in the future, as just finding his daughter was proving to be a nearly impossible task. It was also a very poor use of his valuable time.
"Then I am honored to have you under my service." It was nice to have underlings after all. "I am actually quite new to the area, and as I'm here to find my daughter, I would also like to know the current state and condition of the senshi and the knights. Could you serve me in helping you by letting me know more? Wandering the streets and rooftops is no way to go about helping problems and it only waste time that I fear we do not have, and greater numbers, together in arms, always is a better fit than being alone." He smiled softly.

Camelot nodded his head, still feeling a little tense, but at least willing to play along. He watched the other man, nodding his head slowly.
"I've lived here for some time, at least, but I have not been a knight for as long as some. And there are many senshi with more knowledge than I have. You might do better asking one of them for help there, but I'll share with you what I can."
He had learned the hard way not to be too giving with information. He was all about sharing knowledge, and making everyone stronger that way. But sometimes the wrong people took advantage of that, and there were some things he needed to keep to himself and to those he knew he could trust.
"I can definitely show you around, though, and answer what questions I can." He nodded his head. That seemed the safer method. Then, if he asked something that Camelot didn't feel comfortable sharing, he could avoid it better than just letting himself babble.
Babbling was one of his weaknesses.
