Personality: Homer is somewhat of a simple monster. He can be capable of some pretty complex thoughts, but most of the time it’s simple and comes down to three things: Food, Friends, and Scaring. Happy-go-lucky most of the time, he prefers to be in the company of others and doesn’t mind being the center of attention. Fortunately, even with a clownish smile and a killer laugh, he knows when it’s time to settle down and listen. Holding this attention may be a bit of a challenge, but hopefully Amityville Academy is up for it!
Seemingly always prepared for anything, Homer is always seen with something in his mouth, whether it be scaretato chips or trouble gum. His appetite is enormous; but there’s always something in his backpack for friends. From notebooks to a spare pair of pants, Homer is your guy if you’re in a pinch. A short stint in the Boil Scouts helped mold this behavior, but it was the bickering with his parents that ingrained it. Needing to get away, he always had to have enough with him to be out on his own for a few days, and that habit has never gone away. He’ll always stick up for someone who needs it, even with the odds not in his favor. For one of the youngest first years in the academy, he has a big heart and an even bigger attitude.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? This may be in part due to Homer’s parents. Confused as to why two perfectly scary werewolves could create this little toothy monstrosity, they aren’t particularly sure how to help little Homer along with his abilities. There was some struggle at first, not knowing what to do with this little one that was eager to eat them out of house and home (somewhat literally...) So… Amityville seemed the best choice. Homer is completely happy with the choice as well, able to meet new people and learn more about how to scare efficiently. He doesn't harbor anything against his parents, this helped to ease the slight tensions between them, knowing that he was going to come home a more balanced monster.
FEAR Ability: Steel Trap: With the toothy smile of his, Homer uses his jaws to his advantage. Opening his maw wide he snaps his teeth with a metallic ‘click’, biting through anything handy. That small tree trunk? Toothpicks. That metal beam? Chewed into shavings.
Physical Description: Homer looks quite a bit like the typical were creature; a human form with a hyena’s tail and ears, though due to the nature of the hyena, he slouches a bit at the shoulders.
Eye Colour: Blue-Green [Blue, with flecks of green]
Hair Colour/Style: Dark Brown; a Mohawk running between his ears, cut short enough to stand on end.
Skin Colour: Darker complexion, with his tail and ears more like a hyena’s cub colors, chocolate-y brown, the spots barely showing through (and as he gets older, it’ll change to the sandy-brown spotted hyenas are known for.)
Clothing Style/Colours: Usually seen wearing an open button-down shirt, rumpled from not ironing, and a pair of cargo shorts, along with the multi-pocketed backpack. Go crazy with this guy; I’m not good at clothes!
Extra: The ears and tail, as mentioned above. Also, I would love for him to be blowing a bubble out of his gum on his cert! At least for his first year; he’s still just a little guy with a love for food. Also, he may look a bit small for his jaws; it might be adorable to have a fang or two sticking out of his maw.
