"I would like to apply for a loan, please," said Shmoo to the next available bank teller. "All right. How much would you like?" asked the teller. "5,000.00 dollars should do the trick."
"What will this money be used for?"
Shmoo fidgeted in her seat. Would they believe her if she told them the truth?
Everyone should know about the robots, she thought.
"It's to buy a sword so that I can take down the evil robots who are stealing everyone's Christmas treats." The teller was about to tell Shmoo off for saying something ridiculous when a lady from behind tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhear, but do I understand that this young woman is going to take out that renegade army?"
"Yes, ma'am," answered the puzzled teller.
"Then by all means give her the money," she then turned to Shmoo, "and don't worry about paying the bank back. I'm a manager here, so I will pay it all. It's about time someone who has a backbone sticks up to these freaks."
"Th-thank you," Shmoo stammered.
"You're welcome," answered the manager. "My name is Casey. Anytime you need anything, feel free to come here and ask for me."
"My name is Shmoo. Thank you again."
The teller handed over the money and Shmoo raced back to the sword shop.

After buying the sword she wanted, Shmoo set off the find the bots again. As luck would have it, she caught four stealing some gingerbread houses from her neighbors' house. She used her sword and smote off a head of a nearby bot.
The sword was light and fast and sharp enough to make a clean cut. As the headless- body fell, the other robots turned toward Shmoo and held out their arms as if to intercept her.
Go ahead. I can take on all three of you at once! One bot made a whistling sound and then robots started to emerge from every side until Shmoo was completely surrounded. Shmoo gripped her sword more tightly; this would be a little bit more difficult than she anticipated.
