She had been on the other side of her mother's territory when the rain started. Sihiri hadn't been really bothered by it, it had just been a light drizzle and to the herbalist her work was more important than keeping dry. But then the rain got worse and she was stuck in a thunderstorm.

She ran through the jungle, near where the land cut off into a valley. Most of the jungle inhabitants avoided that place since it was dangerous, but there were some very interesting flowers on the cliffside. She had to cross the river to get back to the den, unafraid because Iron Jaws didn't come this far down river for fear of where it went over the cliffs. She had crossed it so many times before, she didn't think there was any problem with it... But as she was crossing, a bushel of herbs and flowers in her satchel, a sudden thunderclap startled her and she slipped, falling into the river.

Trying to keep her head above the water and swim to shore was broken by screams for help as the roar of the falls grew closer and closer. Could this be the end? No! Her mother wouldn't know what happened to her!
She screamed as she went over the falls, landing in the deep pool below with a loud splash.

The storm hardly affected him. He cared nothing for the rain, but with all that had happened in his life he cared for very little. His pelt that hung over his body took most of the moisture anyway. It was likely a smelly, heap of fur that blanketed him but he refused to strip it off. He was ugly. He was shielding himself from the world, if only for their sakes! Though the rain got heavy quickly and he frowned. He was thinking of making his way back to the formation of rocks that he had been living inside. The rocks broke away just enough for him to squeeze inside, and luckily the inside was much larger than the entry way. It was a good way of concealing where it was he was residing. He had withdrawn himself completely from the world, and from others, and the rocky valley was the perfect place to keep himself hidden.

But the shrieks he heard were not hard to hear, and he would have to blatantly ignore them to miss them. He frowned and cursed his inward good nature. He hated that he wasn't too mean to leave the shrieks unanswered. Before he knew it, he was jumping into the pool that the waterfall lead into, after seeing the golde body go over. Grabbing her scruff between his jaws, he pushed them both up..Quite thankful that he was as powerful as he was.

Sihiri:
Water... water everywhere... Suddenly there was no water anymore, instead there was air. It filled her lungs, her eyes opened, but she couldn't see anything, her vision was hazy. Was she dreaming? There was a figure above her, but she couldn't make it out. It looked a little like a lion but much bigger, she couldn't tell.
Her blue eyes fluttered open and shut a few times before she decided that she was dreaming after all and let her eyes close again.

Atticus:
She looked up, and for some reason he knew she couldn't actually see him. Her eyes were hazy, water still clinging to her. She shrunk back only a little when she opened her eyes, but when she closed them again, he stepped back towards her.

"You should be more careful." He whispered, though eh wasn't even sure if she could hear him. The rain was heavy still, and he knew she needed to be in some kind of shelter. He wasn't willing to share his home, but the trees that clung to the valley walls were scarce.. But they were still there. He grabbed the scruff of the female again, and drug her to the dry part of land where the cliff overhung the floor and it was dry, safe.

He sat there for a moment, waiting to see if she would be okay. Not that he was sure he cared but.. something had to give, he needed to care.

Sihiri:
"Accident... scared... fell..." Sihiri mumbled, knowing that even though she was mumbling her hero would understand her. It was a dream after all. She felt as if she was on air, her body moving on her own, was he carrying her? Dragging her? Was this really happening? No, it had to be a dream, this didn't make any sense.

Rain was falling on her face... Until she wasn't in the rain anymore. Why wasn't she in the rain anymore? Maybe he was real...
He was gone and her paw waved out weakly.
"Don't leave..."

Atticus:
He looked at her with a raised eyebrow, not that it was visible beyond the pelt that hid his face. The only thing that was visible of the male, was the blue hue of his eyes.
His voice was rough, and he spoke rather suave. As if he had not been in hiding all his life, but only part of it. He was an elegant gentleman, despite his grizzly appearance and his cold attitude.

"I'm saving you from yourself. You cannot lay eyes on me." She was far too beautiful for him to be okay with her seeing him. She would think he was ugly, just as Cor had. He frowned, irritated at the deep self loathing he had grown to hold.

"Trust me."

Sihiri:
Eyes still closed, she waved her paw blindly in the dirt once more before letting it still and her body go limp again.
"Don't... be alone..." she mumbled. It was weird, she was dreaming, couldn't she just make him stay? Unless she wasn't dreaming... She didn't like this not knowing.
"Please..."

Atticus:
He sighed, and looked at her with a bit of irritation. Something about her made him want to stay, but that was stupid. He knew it was stupid. He couldn't get close to her anymore than she would want to be close to him. He decided to settle..
"Fine. I'll stay. But if you open your eyes, and look at me without my permission.." He knew he wouldnt give permission but it was a good enough statement. "Then you will be left to die. I don't have time to deal with it." He finished, and sat back down, his monochrome colored tail tuft flicking against his sides.

What the hell had he gotten himself into.

Sihiri:
"Can't see... when 'm... dreaming," Sihiri replied with a small sigh. She was wet and cold and shivered a bit, but a small smile was on her face as she tried curling closer to him. It was so hard to move, though. Must have had something to do with her dreaming... or maybe it was falling down a waterfall and almost drowning.

Atticus:
He sighed, and nodded. Shew as cold, and he could see her shivering. He cursed his good nature, and let her come as close as she could, before leaning in so that he could warm her with his body. He didn't embrace her, and he lay awkwardly, but still he offered her his body heat.

"Then Keep dreaming, Golden one. Keep dreaming." He responded, and felt as he felt her drift off to sleep.
