Herryk wasn't sure what was going on, but he desperately wanted to do his part to save the school. They couldn't close the school down. Herryk had known no other home, and while he knew that he would be welcome among Freya's family, Herryk did not want to leave this place behind. He did not want to leave his friends behind.

He stared at the Fear Meter for a long, long time. He would only have one chance at this. One chance, no more. If he failed he would be a letdown to the entire school. If he prevailed, if he succeeded, he'd have done his part to rescue the beloved academy.

Channeling his Fear, Herryk closed his eyes. There was so much riding on this, and Herryk's nerves were fragile. Perhaps that is what caused him to choke, caused his Fear to sputter uselessly around his hands. With a loud, frustrated bellow, Herryk threw up his hands and stalked away from the device.

He wasn't strong enough. He needed this school to grow stronger, and now it was on the verge of being shut down. He was useless. No help. Crossing his arms over his chest, Herryk broke away from the group. He was a failure.
