As the Angels remain on Earth, they have grown attached to the humans. Being on Earth has made them realize how many people truly are suffering. They pray for God in their times of need, but God hasn't been there for them.
"Who cares?" an Angel once asked one of the Guardians, who had briefly returned to Heaven to consult this issue with them. "They have tainted you, Brother. They do not deserve God's love."
That was when the Guardian Angels knew that Heaven had been corrupted. God was supposed to love everyone. There was no love, here. So, they rebelled. They had done the unthinkable: Angels had defied God.
"How could you live with yourself?! You are an abomination!"
"There is no God. Not anymore."
The Guardian Angels were to be punished for their "sins." However, they escaped to Earth, returning to the humans. The Angels in Heaven, meanwhile, descended down to Earth in order to hunt the rebels down. The Guardian Angels were forced to hide and blend in with the humans, all the while preparing themselves for a potential war with Heaven. They were becoming more human to top it all off. They were still powerful, but their brain patterns were changing. They craved food like humans did. They felt emotions like humans did. They felt love. Their human vessels' interests were slowly becoming their own.
If things get any worse, the human race may need to get involved. The Guardian Angels wish to avoid this in order to keep as many lives safe as possible. The war has only just begun.

• No cybering. If it gets that far, take it to PMs, or fade out.
• Keep the violence appropriate. There will be no guts spilling or anything of the like. Keep the overall rating of this role play at PG-14 at the most.
• If you wish to kill someone, you must get the permission of the role player whose character you wish to kill; then, you BOTH must PM me so I know you both are in agreement.
• No god-moding, power-playing, auto-hitting, etc. Be fair; nobody is perfect. If you're going to get into a fight, I suggest planning the fights with the other role player if you don't want to keep dragging it out. Many people typically don't enjoy losing, but if you feel as though you and your opponent will be fair to each other and will not keep the battle dragging over ten pages, then go right on ahead and do what you wish.
• It doesn't matter how many profiles you make as long as you can handle them.
• Be somewhat literate. Write a minimum of five sentences. Check your grammar, punctuation, and spelling, please.
• You may make pretty posts if you wish, but it's not a requirement.
• PM your profiles to me, itendedalready, with the title “Sparkling Angel.” Please do not alter the profile skeleton.
• Put anything but a wambulance after your username in your profile, so I know you at least read some of the rules.
• PM the role player whose character you wish to protect / be protected by before filling out that spot on your profile. If you haven't found a counterpart you're interested in, you can leave the space blank.
• Respect everyone. Issues can be resolved through PMs, NOT in the role play thread.
• Enjoy yourselves!
