The first time I cosplayed, people were staring at me when I was driving to the convention. Also, we went to dinner straight after it (so I still had my costume on) and people were staring at me. But your waiter was an otaku, too. ^^ I hope I can meet him and his girlfriend again (she was also a waitress). Sad thing, I can only go to one convention (since the others are too far) and this year I can't go because I'm flying out to Texas the day it starts (school trip). ;( I hope I can convince my father to take me to a different one...

Mm! please do!! i LOVE seeing people in cosplay! its so fun, and it makes me feel happy. Iv never met anyone in person who cosplays. so when i watch all these awesome skits of Hetalia cosplayers it makes happy!! and makes me wish i lived close to a group of cosplayers.

Don't sweat about whether you look like the character or not just make and awesome cosplay and have fun! I don't know if you know of cosplay.com but if you do end up crossplaying (cosplaying a character oppsite your gender) here's a great place for binding tips and whatnot: http://www.cosplay.com/forumdisplay.php?f=46. They give some pretty good tips on binding large breasts so you should be able to find something for yourself there. The forum also has other cosplay tips from what fabric type you should choose to how to make certain props. Good luck with your cosplay!
