He had met many in his travels of his lands but he had yet to meet someone he could truly call friend. He considered some of them friends but only to a certain level he had yet to make a true friend who might always be there for him. At least the weather was looking up the past few days had brought his mood down but the unexpected sunshine today brought new hope inside of him. He would find the someone who he could be friends with someone who he could always rely on and run to for help if needed. The friend who he could protect if it be a stallion or mare he longed to feel a real connection to someone other than the one he already knew. He longed for someone else seeking something more in a friend.

Quiet and peaceful were not typical words that Rin Asougi would use to describe her usual day, but today was not a normal day for not a single client came to her little glen in need of her help to find a missing cat (she still had nightmares about that search), soquili, an amnesia affected soquili searching for who they truly were or anything else her services were capable of accomplishing. Early on in her life she had found a way to keep herself entertained to prevent the boredom from creeping in, for if she had not done this, her long existence would have much harder to bear. Emerald eyes looked down at the objects that had prevented her from having a dull existence, silver throwing knives glittered in the bright rays of the sun and the metal wire appeared almost invisible in the direct light. She never misses a target when she throws one of the darts with the flick of her neck, the sharp piece of metal always flies true; this skill was not gained over night, years of practice filled with precision have led her to achieve this skill. Rin turned her gaze to the dead tree that she had marked as her practice stump, she would not have thrown the darts if it still possessed the breath of life, and let lose one of her darts; with a thunk it suck in the center of the stomp and a slow smile appeared on the angeni’s countenance, today was going to be a great day.
