 A Christmas Cake Contest (so to speak) I have decided to host a contest about ideas for a Christmas cake. I will be making the cake of the winner. So what I really need are some great ideas. Be creative. Anything goes!
Contest begins December 8 at midnight-so Wed. night at midnight.
Contest ends December 24 at midnight.
I will choose the winner and award prizes by the 21st.
RULES: Submissions must be drawn, made or generated or photographed. SUBMISSIONS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM THE INTERNET WILL NOT BE COUNTED OR CONSIDERED.
Each person is allowed 3 entries. SUBMISSIONS: Please make submissions a reply to this post. PLEASE do not quote me. It will take up too much space.
PRIZES: YES! There will be TWO prizes awarded to the winner.
One will be the winner's choice of either November's MC or December's. The other will be a surprise that I will choose later Trilune's Covenant. I will also be giving 5K to those that participated and didn't win.

What a fabulous idea! I only wish we all could get a real taste of the winning cake when you make it! lol
Do you want recipes posted too? or just pictures?

It also give me a reason to use my new baking tools. xp

I love this idea!! I personally like cupcakes better then cakes, but maybe I can think of something. biggrin

 Sorry for it looking like hammered a**, but I just got a new computer and photoshop is irreparably broken. So the idea is pretty simple and can be done with fondant or colored frosting. The lower tier is surrounded with green sparkle tree cookies and the upper tier is something of a present motif. I was aiming for simplicity while keeping it flexible and cheery.
