 Three years now... She had passed three years ago today aand with her his hate and cruelty. Since that day he had hunted that blue masked Daeva ...Doji. He had taken her from him right in front of his eyes. He recalled watching her fade away in his arms. Her last wish burnt into his memory "just be open with people. Be as kind as you are deep down."
Limdow sstood infront of the grave site. The beads which were once here long gone." You left before I could tell you..." He muttered.placing a rimg of sunflowers down he sat sighing deeply holding back tears.

 With a jolt a vixen jumped from her sleep. Her green eyes darted around her, ears twitching, her split cat-like tail swaying behind her. Three years ago she had lost her partner. Her best friend. Her... love. Amatarasu stood up, she was exhausted from the dream. Instead of going back to sleep, which she knew she wasn't able to do anyway. She decided to go back to that place... She didn't know why she wanted to, maybe to get a sense of closer. With that she fixed her Jacket and slipped out.

Lindow looked at the gravestones. His ears flicked. " Ive been doing good this year. I found some friends, also I thought I had finnally been able to move on, but she wasnt the one, guess This is my punishment for not telling you the truth..." He started talking to the rocks as if telling the vixen they were there for everything that had happened since he last visited.

Ama was close to that dreadful spot. There was a heavy feeling on her heart. She hated the feeling. She shook her head. Her ears twitched. She heard a voice... a familiar one. She crept closer and hid behind the bush. She peered through the leaves. L-Lindow... She blinked and stayed hidden. Just... watching him.

Lindow stood up and shook the dirt off. "maybe I should get going" he had been here for a while now,and his home wasnt far from here. [As he turned he caught scent of something framiliar. He turned towards the bush and started to growel

Crap... Ama pressed herself against the ground. She was a bit afraid. What would he do? Leave her there?... again. She bit her lip. Might as well come out. First thing that popped out of the bush was her tail, then her ears, then her emerald eyes looked at the male in the clearing. She could barely breathe... All she could do was watch.

Lindow, prepared to pounce at the form but stopped when he saw the tail and ears, This couldnt be , he had to be seeing things his eyes opened wide his focus now on the vixen in front of him."A-A-Ama?" he stutteredtrying to see if she was the woman he thought she was,while moving in closer to see if the figure faded into his mind."Am I suffering from delusions, or re you really here?"His eyes started to well up.

When she saw Lindow's eyes starting to well her started to as well. She squeezed out from the bushes. Her head was down but her eyes never left his. "Hey Ghost..." She smiled just a bit. It was a little odd calling him by his old code name. But how else would he know it was truly her?

He stopped, Ghost the name other foxes had given him, because of his old ways. It wasnt his choice of names but it stuck."Your really alive, This is real...."he stated his ears folding backwards as he stepped closer to her standing directly in front of her."I dont understand though, how?You were dead...Doji....he..." He couldnt find the words he wanted to use.

Ama shook her head. "I didn't die... I was very close to death though." Her head lower and she could look Lindow in the face. "I was taken in and nursed to health." She slightly looked up to see his reactions. "I haven't been far from this spot...."

Lindow sighed."After you had supposedly died I went after HIM, when I finnally caught up I got my tail handed to me, then I passed out and woke up in some females cave. She said she had dragged me there, and that I had been out for a while. It was recently I found my way back here,living on the cliff up there, overlooking the river, Bu every year for 3 years Ive cometo this spot to just sit here." The phim looked at the female wo now stood in front of him. "Im glad your alive though."

No wonder she never never saw him. This was the first year she actually came this close. "I usually visited the shrine. I was always afraid to come back here... I always felt like HE would be waiting here to finish me off." An awful chill ran down her spine. Bit now Lindow was here... and he would protect her... Right? She took a shaky step forward and buried her head into his chest

when she buried her face into him he smiled and let his wing cover her."Its Ok Ama He wont Hurt you,I wont let him or anyone else make you have to hurt like that." he looked into his wings and at Ama"Alright? so dont worry."He stopped for a second before thinking of something."Hey...Ama Theres something I have been wanting to tell you,but I never got a chance"

Her tail flicked and her eyes met his as he peeked her through his wings. "Alright..." Of course she would still worry, how could she not? Still... now wasn't the time to think about him. She blinked and watched Lindow. "What is it?"

Lindow shook his head."I never gt to tell you how I felt before. I didnt give you a straight answer...truth is Ama, I love you." He had spent the last 3 years mulling over his regret of never telling her. But he was being an idiot it was 3 years later she would have obviously moved on and tried to find somebody new, given her personality she probably already had.
