All the Gaians in Gaia like Modmas. They like it a whole lot!
But the Zero that lives outside of Gaia does not.

The Zero hated Modmas! He hated the holiday seasons!
Its best not to ask why. He will give a whole list of reasons!

The Zero sneered and he spat. He even throw down his hat.
"I hate Modmas and its sugary snacks. I wish it would come down with a terrible splat!"

Then a souring smile swept over his face.
He got an idea that would put Modmas in space!

"I've got it," he snickered. "What a humdinger!"
"I will have Santa wrapped around my little finger!"

"I'll take all the cookies, chocolate and cake.
Then I'll put all the pies in a lake!"

The Zero laughed out loud as he thought. His Operation: Down Fall.
He smiled as he envisioned Modmas spirit deflate like a ball.

Meanwhile....

Crisscross was finishing up wrapping her gifts and started making cookies. Her dog Odie was under her feet waiting for food to fall from the heavens and land at his paws. Crisscross smiled,"Odie are you excited for the Modmas season! I had Modmas spirit even earlier this year! I am really excited for Modmas this year! Nothing can ruin this year. Not even super grouchy and unpleasant holiday shoppers!" Odie wagged his tail and barked back as if to say "Same here!"
Unfortunately, they did not know someone was going to try to ruin Modmas with every last fiber of his being. That someone was the Zero! Back at the Zero's house he was gathering up some material to make a very un-merry Santa suite. He used black cloth from curtains and rags and sewed them together. He used cotton from cute stuffed toys that he had taken from children when they dared to tread on his lawn and sewed it on to his sewed up hat and shirt. when he finished he held it up to admire it and chuckled an evil chuckle,"I declare it Zero Day! Muwahahahaha!"
Heading to his garage with his work shop in it he unsheathed his newest invention, Robots AKA: The Zero Bot Army. He grinned an evil grin and the spoke in a soft and devilish tone, "Un-merry Modmas to Gaians. And to all a ruined night!"

As night had fallen Crisscross had just finished up her cookie making. She had an assortment of cookies ready to give out to her friends and family. All kinds from Chocolate to Snicker doodles and they all smelled delicious. She even baked some Modmas doggy treats. Odie was very pleased with how they turned out. Crisscross let out a yawn,"Let's head off to bed pup. We need to get some sleep. Modmas will be here soon!" As the went to bed Crisscross turned out the lights and tucked herself in.

The Zero stepped out into the cold night air. His Zero bot army followed him out and stood behind their leader. Zero turned around and looked over his army one last time. With a evil smirk he held his arm up and then brought it down to his side signalling to his army to start their war on Modmas. With a flash the bots jetted away heading to the unsuspecting towns of Gaia. Busting down doors and scaring people out of a sound sleep, the bots stole everything that had to do with Modmas right before peoples' eyes.

They reached Crisscross's house and busted the door down but were greeted by an angry Odie. One bot looked down and another bot came, "Restrain this quadruped." They tide up Odie and then placed a muzzle on him to keep him quite as they worked. Waking up from hearing her dog bark Crisscross saw Odie tied up and that robots where taking all her Modmas stuff. Before she could stop them they were gone. Crisscross was now very upset,"Those dumb robots...! They will pay for taking away my Modmas stuff!" Crisscross was now heated, "Odie it is time to fight technology with technology! I show them how Modmas really rolls! Come on pup I have some cool toys for us to try out on those no good Modmas decoration steeling bots!"

The Zero bot army came marching back to the house of the Zero. They gathered all the stuff they collected in front of the Zero. The Zero grinned and laughed,"Wonderful! This is absolutely beautiful! All their vile sugary snacks, decorations, gifts and more are lying here at my feet and they have no clue! This is-," He was then interupted by a zero bot,"Sir if I may, Many of the people where awakened by us taking their stuff but few actually tried to do anything."

The Zero looked on with a cold face,"Excuse me...I suppose my hearing is off today due to all the Modmas nosie but I thought I heard you say that they saw you. But I must be hearing wrong, right?!" The bot shock his head no and the Zero clenched his fists together tightly,"Fools! They may have followed you here! Everyone is to be posted outside to guard this house. I will not stand for foolish hero type Gaians to come and take back their stuff! Now be gone!"

Meanwhile...
Crisscross headed back to her room were she was working on a few creations at once. She pulled up a floor tile in the closet and in the secret compartment she had made where he inventions. They were all toys but they were special toys that had multiple different functions from shooting lasers and missiles to Singing and dancing. She grabbed a sack, that had a draw string on it, and she placed her toy inventions in it.

"Alright Odie, lets go get those thief bots and show them the true power of Modmas spirit! They will never know what hit them," Crisscross said. The walked out of their house and found tracks that lead out of the town. Following them they left town and into the snow fields. It was pretty cold but that never stopped the determination of our hero. Coming to a hill Crisscross could see the Zero bots guarding something but it was unknown what at the moment. "Looks like those things are guarding something. Maybe they have hidden our Modmas stuff there! Lets check it out," Crisscross whispered to Odie.

Crisscross pulled out a toy from her sack and placed a switched it on. Then she pulled out a remote from her bag and started to control the toy. The toy began to teeter and totter but got its footing and moved toward the bots.

"HALT! Who goes there," the Zero bots shouted. The toy stop in its tracks and turned its head to look up and see who was speaking to it. It had an eerily creepy smile and its eyes glowed red. One of the Zero bots picked up the toy and looked at it, "This is a weird toy. I am going to put it back with the other toys."

As soon as Crisscross saw the bot with the toy in his hand she pressed a green button on her remote activating a small laser gun in its arm. The laser shot out toward the Zero bot, but the bot had reflexes that were fast enough to dodge. He drop the toy and the toy took off. The Zero bot, who we shall name #4963, turned to his partner #4964,"Follow that thing I am going further down to check to see if anyone is around here hiding."

#4963 walked down and looked around and found toy tracks. He followed them down to where Crisscross stood. "So you're the one who was controlling that toy. I should have guessed that a mere human twit was behind such an act against our great leader! Now you shall pay," The bot said in a cold emotionless tone. Crisscross smiled as she was caught at laser gun point, "Please I was not trying to do anything bad....I was...umm...trying to give the Zero a gift...yeah a gift! I just activated the laser to test if it was working so that I can give him a gift that was not broken!"

The Zero bot started at her coldly,"I hardly believe a word of that story human. That and the fact that your mutt and you were the ones I visited. You are just trying to steal your stuff back."
