A red tail flopped from side to side, thumping against pillows. The owner of said tail was sprawled out on her stomach in the middle of her pillow pile. Even with having acquired a small bed (only slightly larger than a twin sized bed, but not nearly as big as a full sized one), LW still found herself curling up in her pillow pile when sleeping alone. Or on days like today. When she was bothered by thoughts and memories. Not even her run that morning had helped much.
It had started last night - or ungodly hours of this morning. She'd felt an uncomfortable sensation in the back of her mind, dreams shifting from nothing (or somewhat pleasant) to nightmarish until she woke in a cold sweat once the memory of burning came back. It had taken her a good hour or so to settle enough to fall back into a light sleep, curled with pillows and minipets.
Now, she was once again surrounded by minipets and laying on her stomach in the midst of pillows. A faint tingling making her skin prickle as her mind kept getting stuck on all that had happened. Clearly, she was not as alright as she thought. Though recently she'd felt a bit of her old self returning when she had surprised Ren with the minipet she found mistaking it as her own puppy. A soft snort was directed at this.
I need to do something. Again. Find a distraction...
She stared at Austin, who was attempting to scratch behind his ear and fell over. For some reason, the sight of this made her think of a certain particular black dog. When had she last seen Tybalt?
"Well...I'll go see him now!" This sounded like a splendid idea and LW didn't waste much time in rolling to her feet and throwing a light jacket on before padding out of her room and outside the monster dorms. From there, she headed towards the ghost dorms (which were usually cooler) and made her way to a certain boils, waving to fellow students she passed. Knocking a few times, LW hesitantly stuck her head into Tybalt's room.
"Hey dog, you in here?" She called out, hoping that he was indeed in there. Otherwise, she was going to have to come up with a plan B.

"Shhh!" Came a hiss from the other side of the door. "Come in, but quietly!" It warned.
The black dog was home alright, but he wasn't alone. Among him and his four minipets, there was another. A small dark winged creature with strange luminous markings that sort of pulsed in a steady beat. It was fast asleep; curled into a tight little ball on his bed. It was small for its size. Then again, Tybalt was used to the dealing with Umbra, Ymber, and Noctis. The three them, who were on the larger side of the minipets he had seen.
Once the she-wolf entered the room, and only when the door was closed behind her, the black dog finally spoke again.
"I found it outside on one of my runs. I don't think it has an owner... Do you recognize it?" He asked quietly, looking at her with a hopeful expression.
On his shoulder, she would find Tiberia. The little beast had taken the black dog's stillness as a chance to use his shoulder as a perch, and Tybalt not wanting to make a large fuss and remove the celestial rune, left him alone.

The she-wolf moved quietly into the room, shutting the door carefully to lessen the sound of when it clicked close. Curious, she moved with a light, barely audible step over to stand next to her friend. She gave smiles and pats to the other canine minipets before staring at what it was Tybalt had on his bed.
It was adorable, whatever it was. And its colors were dark...no wait. She lied. There was a pulsing sort of glow to its markings. And little wings were tucked neatly against its back.
"You just...found it?" LW asked, taking her eyes off the bundle of fur on his bed. "I..." She glanced at it again. "No. I don't recognize it. I've never seen it before, honestly." Though it did hold a striking resemblance to Phantomhive. Was it the same as her? Just...smaller? A lot smaller? A puppy.
Her tail flicked behind her as a frown formed. She tried to think of any time she might have seen this little one, but nothing came to mind. She glanced at Tybalt, noticing Tiberia then (who got a smile and a head scratch). "You have no idea where it came from then...?" Obviously not, or he probably would have taken it to its owner. "The poor thing. So cute too."

If there was someone other than Tybalt that the canines loved, it was LW. Every time she entered the room, tails were wagging, ears were perked and expressions expectant. Even Ymber, who was normally a territorial creature by nature, was eager for the she-wolf's attention.
...Those suck ups!
Tybalt nodded, watching the creature twitch in it's sleep. Dreaming maybe?
"Yeah, It was just... there. No one else was around or anything." He looked back at the she-wolf a concerned expression on his face. "You don't think someone just dumped it out there, do you?" He asked.
If someone had done something so cruel, the black dog would be sure to hunt them down and tear their limb from limb! There was many things he could forgive, but minipet cruelty was not one of them!

His canines may have been partial suck ups, but LW loooved all canine minipets. She just couldn't help but not love them! And of course, like always whenever she came to visit, each one got the spoiled attention they totally deserved. Did she do it on purpose? Not even LW could have answered that one. She just...did it. That was all. It was normal. To her anyways.
And the little pup twitching in its sleep....ohJack if it had an owner, well. The longer she watched it the harder she felt it was going to be giving that owner back their pet.
What Tybalt said, however, made her face pale slightly. Would...would someone actually do that to their minipet? "I certainly hope they didn't!" Her voice rose a little before she caught herself. The she-wolf snapped her mouth closed, pursing her lips. Maybe a more exciting run would be in order on the morrow.
"Was it...." LW paused, tilting her head and leaning closer. She stared at the little one, a faint sniff following. Yes, she thought she was right. "A him. Was he alright when you found him?" She did seem to acquire a lot of male minipets. And that wasn't even on purpose! Though the females she did have were not to be taken lightly, that was for sure.

Tybalt nodded again. Looks like they were both in agreement, that if they ever caught someone responsible for something like tossing out a minipet, they'd beat the living s**t out of them. To even seriously think about it was despicable.
"I think so. It seemed okay, just y'know, seemed like it was lost and didn't know where to go." He shrugged and shook his head. The problem now was, what to do with it. Last he checked he was already breaking the rules with having four minipets and he wasn't about to shove Tiberia into that closet with all the 'extra' minipets students had, so in order to keep that from happening, he had a strict rule of not drawing attention and keeping anymore than he already had.
Though maybe...
He looked at LW, a mischievous grin forming on his face.
"You want him?" He asked. Scooping the small scareon up from where it slept; the creature blinking blearily when it's sleep was disturbed. "I'm sure you'd take much better care of him than anyone else I know, and I can't take him, not with my group... Nor am I going to hunt for the 'previous' owner. If there even is one..."
He held it up a little higher.
"How 'bout it?"

LW nodded a little. It wasn't that different from the grouping of minipets she found not too long ago. Though it was clear that they definitely didn't have any owners. More like she stumbled upon a hidden hoard of fluffy adorableness.
"For it's sake, I hope it wasn't abandoned." She muttered, tail flicking in mild irritation. "I'm glad...he seemed alright." The she-wolf watched the little furball on the bed twitch more and snuggle closer against itself. It really was so damn adorable....and why was Tybalt giving her that grin?
"What?" LW stared at her friend stupidly, following his movements as he scooped the pet up off the bed. Oh Jack look at that face! Wait, what? He was not saying what she was hearing. No way. "B-But....you found him!" Those little ears...and paws...and Jack his wings! Tybalt held him up higher, that little face stared...and she lost this battle. Carefully, she reached out and ran a hand along the top of his head. And sighed, holding out her hands for it.
"I....are you sure? I mean....oh Jack damnit. He's so freakin' cute!" Right, like there had ever been any chance of her winning a non-existent battle!

"Like I said, I can't keep him. Not with these four already here." He shrugged with a little difficulty, thanks to Tiberia still perched there. "Come on~ You know you want him~" He continued to grin and held the scareon a little closer. He knew it wouldn't be long until she caved and agreed to take it in and he was right!
Passing the small creature into her arms, he nodded his head and smiled.
"Yep, I'm sure. At least this way I know he'll be taken care of." He answered, not at all concerned about LW taking him off his hands. It was true what he said. This way it won't be on it's own, left to starve and he knew the she-wolf had a fondness for critters like he did. She'd take care of it properly, he knew she would.
"What you gonna' call it?" He asked, tilting his head at the two.

She cradled the little scareon, who pawed up at her, and shot Tybalt one of those 'you're lucky it's fluffy and cute' looks. He'd probably known she couldn't say no. But...ah Jack! It was socute! LW lightly scratched at it's belly, gaining more pawing.
"Oh I'll take care of him alright. Probably spoil him." LW grinned at Tybalt, with a meaningful look at his own pets. "I still can't believe he was just...out there by himself." Jack, if she or Tybalt ever found out that some owner neglected the poor thing...well. They weren't fluffy lap dogs, now where they? Although LW was guilty of just that herself...
"I'm...not sure yet." Her own head tilted a little as she regarded the pup, tail flicking while she thought about it. "Probably something to do with the night. He kinda reminds me of it." What, with his black fur and glowing markings?
"Night...something." LW toyed with that, adding words to the end. Nightlight....Nightglow...shadow.... Like she'd planned on receiving the little guy when she'd come to visit Tybalt today! "...Nightwish." She said slowly, testing out the name. The little bundle in her arms wagged his tail, curling his little wings around himself. "What do you think of that?" LW glanced up at her friend, smile on her face.

"Yeah, I can definitely see that happening." If there was a pet that LW had met and wasn't spoiled, he had yet to hear of it. She was as addicted to minis as he was, there was no way he wouldn't know about her being unable to resist the helpless little mini.
"Nightwish... I like it. It suits it pretty well." He gave the scareon's foot a little shake and grinned. "If it turns out to be a little terror, you can always change its name to 'Nightmare.'"

LW gave Tybalt a sheepish look. Yep, she was terrible about spoiling minipets. But she couldn't stand up to their cute looks! All they had to do was give her a demanding 'give me attention' looks and she caved. Like she had with Tybalt giving her the scareon. No chance of winning at all.
"At least he'll have a good home. And other minipets that will like him." Plus Ren and Tybalt could come by and visit!
The little scareon's foot twitched and he made a whiny sound at his foot being tugged. What was this? Why was it happening? Oh hey, where those feathered things his? He pawed at his wings before getting distracted by fingers and nice voices.
The she-wolf laughed. "That is very true! Though I do very much hope not to gain a second terror." LW's tail twitched at the thought of her mimic. "One 'nightmare' is about all I can handle sanely." She grinned at Tybalt. "Thank you. I promise to take good care of him." She added.

"Yep, figured that would be the case." He nodded and gave the she-wolf a light pat on the shoulder.
"Good! Then he's all yours!" He grinned making a shoo like motion. "Even if he turns out to be a little nightmare." Now that the scareon was awake, he was going to need to go out for a 'walk' before there was an accident in his room. An accident that he was not going to clean up after.
"I guess give me a call after to let me know how he settles in?" He asked, tilting his head slightly to the side. He had no doubt the little fella' would have troubles fitting in, but if she had any problems, he'd be more than happy to lend a hand. Especially since he was the one that brought this upon her.

She looked up from the scareon to grin at her friend. Yep, he knew her well! And her love for all her minipets was evident for anyone that ever saw them together. Nightwish was indeed in good hands.
LW rolled her eyes at Tybalt and his 'shoo-ing' motion. Instead of leaving, she shifted the scareon so she could hold him with one arm and stepped over to hug the black dog. "Thank you! Promise to spoil him to no end!" Said 'him' sneezed and whined while trying to bat at Tybalt with his paws. He was awake alright. And feeling playful. The she-wolf laughed, and stepped back, letting the scareon chew on her fingers again. "And if he becomes a little nightmare, he'll be nicknamed 'Tybalt Jr.'~" She teased her friend.
The she-wolf paused at the door, glancing back over her shoulder. She smiled warmly and nodded her head. "Of course I'll call you! How else am I supposed to tell you what a terrible dog you are!" LW scratched at the scareon's little stomach while adding, "You can always come stop by if you're bored to check on him too. But I'll call you and let you know."
Tail flicking, LW turned back towards Tybalt, stepping swiftly and lightly until she was in front of him again. Eyes flashing with mischief, she pecked him on the cheek before all but dancing out of his dorm room. Needless to say, Tybalt had just made her day!
